Fantastic food and delightful service. A diverse menu with so many creative options, you can't wait to try something new. Each visit to Taaza, we explore a new dish & we've never been disappointed. So grateful to have this family-owned gem in our neighborhood.

Tried Taaza for the first time this evening and was super impressed! Called in for a “night-of” reservation and they could accommodate us at 730pm. The place was lively & [i guess not so surprisingly] packed! We started with the samosas - really good, especially the sauces that come with. Then my husband ordered the Lamb Kurma curry and garlic naan, and I got the Salmon Tikka with Pineapple. Both incredible and very flavorful - we left soooooooo satisfied!! I’ll def be back for that Salmon Tikka Pineapple dish - WOW! Also, got out of there under $80 for an app, two entrees + garlic naan, and 2 glasses of wine!! Easily have Taaza in the #1 spot for Indian cuisine in Roanoke.

Their food is delicious! Highly recommend. My bride isn't one for spice, and even she enjoyed their food! Good for large or small parties, and their service is top notch. I didn't once have to wait for a drink and my water stayed full. Plenty of options for any pallette. Lots of local area stuff to do where they're located too. Give it a try!

Absolutely the BEST Indian food we have ever had! Tons of Vegan and gluten-free options. Even a Vegan chickpea brownie with homemade coconut milk ice cream. We have had authentic Indian food in every place we visit as it is our favorite cuisine, all over the US and Europe and this place blew us away. Definitely authentic full of flavor and prepared just right.

Amazing garlic naan, the tandori chicken was great, loved the gobi manchurian! The biryani was a little dry, but it still tasted great. I loved the roasted potatoes with rice and tikka sauce! Overall, everything was fantastic, spicy, yes, but tasty. The only issue is it took a really long time to get the food, but we were celebrating a birthday, so we didn't mind.

This was my first visit after my daughters suggestion as I had been craving Indian cuisine. Their food was delicious and just the right portions and amount of spice I asked for. They also make a great cocktail. Their Old Fashioned was perfect.

Ate dinner here recently and got the Fish Chilli Milli and Bullet Naan for an appetizer, the Nawabi with Chicken Indian Classic for the main dish. I found the price decent for the amount of food you get with the presentation of your dish making for a nice dinner out. Our food came out fast and our waiter was excellent! He was very attentive, but also gave us room to eat peaceful without hovering. The spice in meals can be adjusted to your liking, but as a reference, I can take a small amount of spice and I found Spice Level 2 out of 5 for the main dish to not be spicy. The Bullet Naan had a good spicy kick to it because of the chilis. The chutney paired with the Naan cools the spice down, but if you think black pepper is spicy, that's not the dish for you. Will definitely eat here again!

Always a great place to get good Indian food! I LOVE it! And when I post on social media about going there, I get a lot of "Oh! We love that place!" type of comments, So it's not just me. 😄
And years after my original post☝, it's still our favorite restaurant and favorite of the Indian restaurants in Roanoke. Service is always great. Food is always flavorful and fresh.
Plenty of vegetarian options, although they use a lot of cream, so not a lot of vegan options.
Nice wine selection too.

My knowledge is limited to what my friends have cooked for me and I always follow their recommendation when it comes to Indian restaurants. So when they drive from Lynchburg to Roanoke for catering that’s a strong vote of confidence

The food was fantastic, everything was spot on. I think the tandoori chicken was the standout with the gobi a close second. Next time I’m in Roanoke I’ll be hitting them up

I hadn't been here in a while and first thing I noticed was the menu, which had changed a great deal and offered some new dishes as well as Chef's creations. Food is always wonderful and the people very friendly. They no longer have the buffet but hope to bring it back soon. Because of this, the bill was a bit more than our normal of roughly $26

Wonderful dining experience. Great portions. Our group of 5 adults all ordered different entrees and then we shared and sampled portions. I loved the Chicken Saag. Excellent service.

We come here all the time. It's best to order multiple dishes and share them family-style. I recommend the Bombay street foods to start - it's authentic just like in Mumbai! (except much cleaner)

Our favorite place to get Indian food! We typically do takeout, and I appreciate that everyone is very helpful! When I have dined in, the service is consistent and efficient!

Delicious! If you can’t handle heat, definitely get the mildest option. My mom and I both ordered medium - I got the paneer kurma and she got the chicken kurma. I like spice, mom can’t handle too much heat. Mine was super mild and mom’s was too spicy for her taste, so we switched. The food was incredible, though, and the server was really friendly and attentive. The hot chai was to die for! I would definitely eat here again.

Authentic great Indian food! Large menu with a few Mediterranean options too. Perfectly cooked basmati rice was fluffy. Lamb chops were tender and flavorful. Medium heat curry sauce was really not spicy, but amazing flavor; creamy, sweet curry flavor and slightly nutty. Highly recommend!

The food was too good..the paneer chili was mouthwatering...

Wife and I just got off the AT in Damascus for trail day. As we were driving back to our home. Wife and I wanted to treat ourselves to some Indian food. We are very picky because we have had authentic Indian food so no microwave food will do for us. Well we looked at many different places along the way. We came across this place and hoped to get able to get a sit. They open at 4 and that is the best time to go in if you don’t have a reservation. The hostess was very nice, we sat down and couple people pasted us. Then this one guy pasted us but then backed up and said has anyone helped you? We said no so he took care of us as is we were in his personal home. The food was great and came out quickly and we completely enjoyed the atmosphere the conversation. The best compliment we meant, we showed the person on our phone we are 2 hours and 30 minutes away and when we want Indian food again we will driving to this place!! My wife and I thought the person was a owner or a relative of the owner, but nope he is the manager and only worked their for two years! So shocked the owner made an awesome decision to bring this person on. Please if you have a chance to go please see Kevin and let him know how awesome he is and grateful he puts everything into his job!!
