Shear Shack

I have included before, after and After! Lol. My first experience finding a new stylist after having one for over 20 years was extremely unsettling and very frustrating. I wasn’t sure if she ruined my hair. I was sure I did not get what I wanted or paid for.
Fast forward, I met Dani of Shear Shack, I experienced Danielle of Shear Shack and I finally found Brandi of Shear Shack!
These 3 women and Christina, the owner, rallied around me and my situation! They came together and not only gave me what I was looking for ( a spiral perm on 50+ blonde hair) but a new wonderful place and an amazing new stylist! Thank you Brandi! Thank you all! Dani, Danielle and Christina!

I had my hair done today, best salon I have ever been to. she got me where I wanted with keeping my hair looking super healthy. I recommend shear shack to everyone. Brandilyn did my hair, she’s one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met!!! and so talented she did an AMAZING job, it turned out just like the inspiration photo if not better.

I had a great experience here during a trip to Asheville! Samantha cut my hair perfectly, better than I’ve had it done in a very long time, and so fast, I couldn’t believe how fast I was in and out! Very much recommend Shear Shack

I booked with Sam for a kids haircut for my toddler. I knew going in he might not do well seeing as I booked close to nap. She was great! She was so patient and sweet! Did a great job for what he would let her do. Hoping to come more regularly so he gets use to getting his hair cut.

Had the BEST stylist, Rennie. She did not judge me for trying to cut my own bangs (I know I know) AND she fixed what I had started. Easy to talk to, and the salon is really cute, clean and a god location. 10 out of 10 recommend this sweet shop with salon vibes and really good prices. Go see Rennie Jean, she’s the best.

Samantha was awesome. I’m a curly girl who’s had one too many traumatizing hair cuts. She asked me what I wanted, listened and I asked for suggestions to liven up my hair. I walked out happy and a little pep in my step. Go see her.

Shear Shack is the best salon. I have been to Shasta a few times for a color, and she does a great job. The boutique in the salon is so cute! On 12/7/19, Christina and her assistant did the updos for myself and my bridesmaids. I could not be happier that I chose them. The whole morning of getting glam was so calm and organized with them. Everyone's hair looked beautiful! I cannot say enough good things about Christina and my experience with her and her assistant.

Rennie is THE BEST hairstylist in the AVL area! I recently moved here and was putting off doing my hair until I couldn’t any longer (brunette babe wanting to go blonde). Rennie took such good care of me and went above & beyond with her services for me, even staying past closing hours to accommodate my working schedule. She’s such a fun and welcoming person and my hair turned out BEAUTIFUL ❤ would highly recommend this place for women or men and especially asking for Rennie 💇🏼‍♀

I'm happy to have found Sam. I've seen her twice now and both times I've felt heard. Her color is great, and most recently she chopped off about 8in and gave me the cutest choppy bob. Cut, color and style and I was out in two hours and feeling beautiful. Thanks Sam!

Samantha was very patience with my two young children and have them the exact haircuts they wanted.

I'm a new client there and I highly recommend Brandilyn for a haircut. I asked for the purple to be gone with lots of layers and she did not disappoint! She is very experienced, friendly, and fast. 10/10.

Got my hair done by Tatum and I will definitely be coming back! This was my first time getting my hair done in AVL and I’m so happy with the results! She colored my hair, cut and styled it beautifully for me. Great color and cut!! She’s really cool to talk to while you’re passing the time being pampered. Will be back for sure!

The salon itself is clean, welcoming, and super cute! Samantha was wonderful with both my kids and even had my shy son talking. I am so incredibly happy with how their haircuts turned out. Highly recommend!

I never write reviews, but Tatum was so great that I had to! Tatum was awesome and listened to all of my concerns and eased my anxiety about the current state of my hair. She gave me a cut that gives me so much more confidence! Very sweet and professional. Definitely will be coming back!

Unfortunately due to a string of crazy events, I wasn't able to get back to ms Neely or ms Samantha when I needed to, and then visited a few other Salons so trust me when I say, that these ladies are the best! Thank goodness I was able to get back to shear shack.

Great Salon, Tatum cut my hair and let me just say she is one of the kindest and friendly person I’ve met. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to cut my hair! The overall staff Is great and would definitely recommend to anyone.

I recently moved to the area and was referred to Shear Shack. I had an amazing experience. Tatum was very personable as well as talented. She listened to what I wanted and gave me the best haircut and coloring ever!! I cannot recommend highly enough. The entire shop was great and I was very comfortable. Tatum was a delight and I give her 5 STARS! I will be back!

Sam was fantastic! She gave me exactly what I asked for and got the job done quickly and efficiently. She has great attention to detail and is very friendly! My husband was drooling over how good my hair looked when I got home so that was even more confirmation that she did great! Thank you and I will definitely be back :-)

Love this place! Danielle L. is awesome and has been cutting my hair for over a year. I leave my hair longer on top with a tight fade on the sides and she does a killer job every time. My wife and my daughters also get their cuts from her now! I’m a pretty picky guy with my hair, so knowing I can get a great consistent cut at a fair price every time is a huge win.
