The staff and doctors at Meridian are the friendliest and most caring I have ever experienced. They show genuine concern and have offered the very best care for my dog. Both doctors are extremely knowledgeable and competent. I cannot say enough positive things, they are simply the best. I rarely review anything, but this office deserves major kudos.

The coolest, most awesome vet in all of Asheville! And funny! Yes, Dr. Heather Sinclair is a great diagnostician and surgeon, good with people as well as animals, does volunteer international work, can do conventional and/or wholistic medicine, and has saved many animal lives. But she is just the kind of person you want to get to know better and hang out with. Always willing to spend as much time as you need with her to talk about what's going on with your pet. The clinic is very clean and soothing - for people as well as animals. She's been our vet for almost 20 years and I wouldn't even think of going anywhere else.

My animals have received nothing less than the finest care at Vetcetera. Dr. Smith, Angie and Juli have been so kind to me and my animals. They have a standard of care that is so much higher than anyone else here in Asheville. The laser therapy on Cera has helped his back a lot. They even managed to examine my bad boy, Jelly, with minimal stress.
And, the care they gave Kris was outstanding, from the moment they met him to the last moments of his life. They gave me hope and they tried things other vets would not have, and when the time came to let Kris go, he was treated with love and compassion. For not one moment was Kris stressed. He and I had a last few peaceful minutes together before he crossed the bridge. He wasn't just thrown on an exam table in some brightly lit exam room with a perfunctory shot of anesthetic and euthanasia. Seeing how he went made me wish that other vets were as good at these moments as Dr. Smith was with Kris. No one has ever taken better care of my babies as they left this world. It made an agonizing moment far less painful to see Kris go so peacefully and with so much love.
I am so grateful for Vetcetera and all the fantastic care my pets have received here.

I can't tell you how grateful I am to have found Vetcetera. My Shih Tzu Lucy has been having issues with her liver. Her enzymes are too high. Dr. Smith ran a blood test to see how she was doing - and they were still too high. But he told me the news calmly and took the time to explain my options to me - which included liver-supporting supplements and acupuncture. He also gave me hope that Lucy would live a normal life - and that we may even be able to reverse the problem. In contrast, when my old vet originally broke the news to me, I was told, "Something is wrong with Lucy's liver. We're so sorry." They told me nothing. All my frantic questions were answered with: "We won't know until we run more tests." I cried for two days - and I spent a blinking fortune on tests with no results. I'm so grateful for the way Dr. Smith is handling Lucy's condition. He shows genuine care and concern - for both me and Lucy. And his holistic, no-harm approach is so appreciated. I know my Lucy is in good hands with Vetcetera.

Our daughter's cat was suddenly very ill. Exploratory surgery showed her to be riddled with cancer. She needed to be put to sleep to prevent her suffering. The entire staff was very caring while helping my daughter cope with the situation.

Dr Sinclair is absolutely wonderful. She has been very professional and you can definitely tell she cares about the animals she sees(including all the exotics). Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Jeff, is an amazing Veterinarian. He took the time with my Goldendoodle puppy for an initial check up in order to make sure he was nursed back to heatlh again. Issues with worms was the main cause as to why we came to Jeff. Also we put the dog on some homeopathy for stress relief. Jeff is a score of 10+ and we will utilize him as the number 1 vet for our dog/family. Highly recommend him.

Dr. Smith is a good vet, but her current staff is very rude and inconsiderate. Angie, who use to be there full time as the tech, was great. The other technician is so difficult to deal with. She is not responsive when there and is very rude on the phone. I had 3 of my dogs taken care of there and decided it was time for a change when I witnessed the tech be rude to another client. One of my neighbors has experienced the same. Since Dr. Smith is not there most days, it was hard to justify going there anymore, so I changed vets. The wait time, even when they are not busy and you have an appointment, is way too long. It has been a disappointing experience and the first bad experience I have had at a vets office after 40 years of raising dogs.
