Absolutely love this place! The food is out of this world, sourcing local ingredients for every meal. I’m also gluten-free, and they always have options for me and it feels like such a treat. As a busy mom, this is my go to and we love not only the take-home meals, but the grocery store items as well.

Due to COVID-19, we had to plan an outdoor small family celebration for my father-in-law's 80th birthday. We chose a charming location in Weaverville (The Carolina Jewel) where we created a 7-course fine culinary and wine experience under a large tent. Red Fiddle Vittles took on the challenge and performed way beyond expectations! The food and presentation was amazing as was the service and attentiveness to us and all attendees. They handled all of the rentals and met with the property owners ahead of time to talk logistics. It was a perfect day and an amazing birthday celebration. Thanks again to Matt and Erica and their team for making this a day we'll never forget.

Matt, Erica, and their staff were so easy to work with, professional, incredibly responsive and flexible, and very affordable—and most importantly, their food is DELICIOUS! They created the charcuterie board/grazing table of my dreams (get their green goddess dressing and pesto deviled eggs!), and a half Memphis/half North Carolina barbecue feast, complete with divine collards and mac and cheese (sadly, no pics of this). Everything was wonderful, and everything looked beautiful, too. Highly, highly recommend!

Erica, Matt, and their team are incredible. Red Fiddle Vittles did the catering for our welcome reception and wedding. They were great to work with throughout the entire process. Their communication was excellent, and we felt like a priority from the moment we booked through our wedding.

They are so talented. We came to them with a little bit of a nontraditional idea for our wedding dinner, and they were totally onboard. They took our vision and made it even better! The food was absolutely incredible, the servers were professional and personable, the displays were beautiful, and the cake was one of the best cakes we’ve ever had. I cannot recommend them enough!

The cream of asparagus soup is amazing. They haven tons of yummy easy meal options and a great selection local grocery items. Definitely worth checking out!

I wanted to provide healthy, delicious meals for my sister, who was recently discharged from the hospital. I live in Seattle, so this was a challenge. I love having access to local foods in the little storefront, and the ready-made meals are delicious and with generous enough portions that my spouse and I get multiple meals out of a container. It's convenience shopping you can feel good about!

Our family hired Red Fiddle Vittles in April to serve heavy hors d’oevres for about 40 friends and family attending a “Celebration of Life”. We very happy with the service from beginning to end. Matt took time to zoom with us prior to the event to finalize the menu and worked with us to accommodate a few dietary requests. Erica arrived on time on the day of the event, set up and served, and when we were done, helped package the extras for us to take home. The table arrangement was very nice and food looked great…and tasted great: a balanced combination of “recognizable” food (sliders and a veggie plate, e.g.), but with an added flair such as green chili hummus and locally sourced heirloom carrots. We would definitely recommend Red Fiddle Vittles.

Erica and Matt made our wedding dreams come true! The food was some of the best we have ever tasted – and no small feat catering completely plant-based to satisfy the vegans (us) but also a good portion of our carnivorous guests – including some gluten-free! Run, don't walk, to get them to cater your special day. It's truly something special! Erica, Matt, and the whole staff are so great to work with, and our tasting experience was also quite wonderful (and filling).

I cannot say enough amazing things about Matt & Erica at Red Fiddle Vittles! They catered two events for us over our wedding weekend and every last detail was perfect. People are still raving about the food, almost three months later! So often wedding food is forgettable, but we are a big food family and I promise no one is forgetting the food at our wedding! Matt and Erica were a dream to work with, even with a bunch of COVID rescheduling. They were fabulous with my food allergies. Our entire wedding menu with gluten free and nut free and it was just incredible. Thank you, thank you, Matt & Erica. You've got clients for life!

We hired Matt & Erica to cook for our families the night before our Elopement. In every sense of the word they are incredible! From the beginning, they were so warm and friendly, professional and accommodating to our requests. We liked the fall versions of their menu items for our taste, but were having a spring meal- they happily let us pick from the fall varieties. They also made us our favorite dessert on request. On the day of our event, they maintained great communication, cooked us a fabulous meal that everyone loved, picked from our wines what would pair best with our meals and continued to serve our wine throughout the night. They were covid-safe, wearing masks, but you could still feel the smile on their faces and their sweet demeanor. They also were not remotely fazed at the sudden demise of our rental home's dishwasher the morning before they arrived. Everything was clean and tidy before they left and there was not even a disappointed look. I highly highly recommend hiring them for any special meal!

We stumbled across Red Fiddle Vittles magically walking across their parking lot. Matt offered us a dinner treat and it was AMAZING. Being a farmer I am always looking local, farm grown and amazing and Red Fiddle knocked it out of the park. Incredible food - we had the Roasted Root Veggies & Greens and the Roasted Fingerling Potatoes. They get 10 stars in my book! Thank you!

We ordered several large dishes for an extended family getaway and it made our weekend less complicated and way more delicious. They were able to accommodate our dietary restrictions with ease and were super careful to make sure that my sister-in-law with celiac could enjoy everything safely. My family couldn't get over how yummy everything was and I was a hero! Thanks y'all!!

Erica and Matt were GREAT! They hauled their smoker to our remote post-wedding celebration site and made incredible BBQ for us and our guests. Everyone raved! They made a vegan version which got great reviews as well. You could tell they used great ingredients because you actually felt good after eating it! The great price, sweet people, and easy communication made the deal even better. Highly recommend Red Fiddle Vittles!

One of the most important parts of our wedding was having amazing food and Red Fiddle Vittles absolutely nailed it! Red Fiddle Vittles provided an absolutely wonderful food selection each time. The only issue is they offer so many alternatives, it is hard to narrow the selection. The service is always excellent. We have had last minute substantial increases in headcount, and they were always able to meet our needs. They catered a fundraiser at our house for NC Stage, and the response was so positive that NC Stage made Red Fiddle Vittles their official caterer.
