Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar

I've noticed this chain a few times during travels, but hadn't stopped in one until now. What a nice brunch! Well done dishes and fun atmosphere. We had the avocado toast and eggs along with blueberry buttermilk waffles. They were totally delicious.

We enjoyed the brunch here, it was quite nice.
There’s something for everyone here.
They have fantastic cocktails for breakfast/brunch.

The food was delicious, but the service and grace was amazing! There are 2 Tupelo Honey restaurants in Asheville and we made a reservation for 10 at one but then accidentally drove to the other one. The restaurant on Hendersonville was able to accommodate us and their service was wonderful. The gracious understanding afforded us by the College St location was a true gift. Being visitors from another state, all I know is we will be back and we highly recommend either location.

Fantastic service!!!! Checked in throughout our dining experience to assure things were tasting great and beverages were full. Food portions were perfect size. Felt comfortably full. Beautiful ambiance. HIGHLY recommend.

Wonderful experience at Tupelo Honey! In addition to the food being well prepared, fresh and consistent - the touches in their decor and absolutely beautiful menu really made our night.

Highly recommend the biscuits, shrimp and grits, fried chicken, broccolini.

I came here with my mom for dessert and drinks. Their 'Debutante' is the most delicious drink I've had in ages. The banana pudding was also amazing and they give you so much of it! The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly.

First time here at Tupelo’s! The atmosphere was so cute and welcoming, we loved all the plants hanging everywhere. The food was absolutely incredible! I’ve never had eggs Benedict before and it Tupelo’s was one of the best dishes I have ever had! My husband and I were both so impressed and not just with the food. Our waiter Jake was probably one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. He answered every question we had, made great recommendations, and was extremely personable! We can’t wait to come back with visitors!

Delicious dinner and banana pudding, which was almost perfect because it had a very nice whipped marshmallow fluff, it only missed the mark by using banana that was just a tad too green/unripe. Otherwise very good and will visit again when I visit in the future.

Service is always as quick as it can be. They get slammed, but they work it out.

GET THE BISCUITS, AND THEN GET THEM AGAIN.

Good menu, including a la carte classics, so everyone has choices. Like the biscuits, it's an option, but not really, you know? Pet friendly with outdoor covered seating. If you catch me there because of this review, there is no need to thank me in person. Just send over a plate of biscuits.

This was my 1st time here and it was awesome. The Mimosa's were amazing, just get the large! Food was super fresh and hot and I will definitely be back!

Another lunch visit today. It was GREAT. We were recognized by managers as repeat customers, and personally greeted. Fried green tomatoes were very good. My salad with grilled chicken was super fresh. Husband had waffles with chicken, he liked it. Good service from Maddie, food served promptly and properly. I tried a different mimosa, it was good. All in all a great meal. We'll keep visiting s asheville location and recommending it.

We have been to 4 diff T Honey locations. I have been to this one 4-5 times, including today for brunch. Great all around. Fast and friendly service (Jason was our server), great biscuits and gravy, and I think the iced tea is the best anywhere. Always bright and cheerful inside. I'll be back before long.

This restaurant was chic. It was modern spacious and clean. My favorite food was actually the sausage. It reminded me of homemade when I was younger. The chicken and waffles was thighs not breast making it a bit juicier. The biscuits were a little thick but tasty. Come hungry because they give you plenty of food.

Great location. Sat outside. Very pleasant atmosphere. The food is DELICIOUS. We ordered the fried green tomatoes with goat cheese grits. Outta this world tasty! Then, of course, the classic chicken and waffles , as delicious as always. I even had some for leftovers. The next day, it still tasted fantastic.
Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Asheville.

Solid service, delicious food, nice ambiance. I’m pretty picky about fried chicken, theirs is very good. My wife got the chikn fried cauliflower and said “it was the best vegetarian meal she’s ever had”. They have some unique house cocktails and non alcoholic drinks. The sweet tea was on point. The blueberry compote is fantastic, best I’ve ever had. I see now why they sell it by the jar up front. We made a reservation using OT and that mitigate any potential wait. I can’t wait to go back and try something else.

Can’t give more stars but everything was on point! Our server was so sweet and the food came out so quickly. Delicious delicious delicious! Great presentation and awesome southern vibes! The grits with goat cheese I would marry. The mimosas are the best!!

Our experience was top notch. The ambience is great and the service was even better. You get a $5 coupon for signing up for emails and $20 on your birthday. I got the smothered chicken with mac n cheese and green beans. (Would not get the green beans again.) My husband got the Asheville chicken ranch melt with brussel sprouts. Highly recommend both dishes. We will definitely be backed.

This was my third visit at this location. I ordered my favs for Dinner again.
We ordered the Buttermilk Biscuits to start. I was so hungry I forgot to take a photo of the HUGE Biscuits we were presented! They arrived with whipped Butter & Blueberry Jam; all which were delicious. I even enjoy with Honey.
The Turmeric Ginger Tonic is very refreshing to me and much less sweeter than the Peach and Blueberry options. It’s my favorite Beverage option now.
The Kitchen was slow this evening, but that was probably due to two large parties already seated when we arrived. Our Server was very attentive and checked on us several times during our visit.
When Dinner arrived, it was very good. I enjoyed the Wild Caught Mahi with sides of Brussels and Cheese Grits. I do think I received fewer Brussel Sprouts than my last visit, but the meal was very filling with the add on of the Biscuit.
We had a nice rounded Booth and could enjoy a pleasant evening as patrons were spaced nicely apart.
The Staff at the Front Door were very friendly with entry and upon leaving.
This is a very nice restaurant with good quality food that I do recommend and will keep coming back to.

Absolutely must go to when visiting Asheville! The biscuits were perfectly soft and delicious and the blueberry jam was so good. Great southern comfort. The banana pudding was out of this world! Everyone was so friendly. Jack, our server was so kind and helpful.

This place was great. Giant Bloody Mary called The Queen.

My wife and I shared the Asheville hot chicken on Mac and cheese waffle. So good!

Also the biscuits! Come on, they’re so good.

The Pablo fried green tomatoes on grits are 100% worth getting.

We sat by an awning, but there is street reserved seating. Also inside is available.

I’m not 100% sure about the accessibility for a wheelchair width wise. If there were any steps it was one small step, but I honestly don’t even think there was a step.

People of color friendly.

It’s right down town with parking around everywhere, but we went on Memorial Day and had to walk for parking.

Quality was great and staff was very attentive and friendly.

I would go back for brunch 100%

It was a perfect autumn day when we sat outside to enjoy hearing and seeing the leaves falling. Service was fast and courteous, and my husband’s Chicken & Waffles was perfection, both in taste and balance. As for my Eggs Benedict, so so good. Expected it to be good, just not this good. Keep up the good work! We would definitely visit a Tupelo Honey Café again.
