Brian Boru Restaurant and Pub

Very great, traditional, Irish food. The curry fries and corn beef poppers were delicious along with the Shephards pie. Great service as well and loved the live music.

FANTASTIC ALL AROUND!!! We had a big party for a birthday brunch for my mom. We came early for our reservation, and they accommodated us within a few minutes. Waitress was great! Food at the buffet was tasty. Very nice experience! Will be back!!

We came to see Ted Garber play on a Thursday evening. Ted was great. The bartender was very attentive. We had great Reubens, Shepherds Pie, and spinach and artichoke dip. Nice chalk boards in bar area to detail events and specials.

Great venue for wedding rehearsals!
We held our son's wedding rehearsal dinner at Brian Boru Irish Pub and Restaurant. It was an excellent choice, highly recommend it for wedding rehearsal dinners or business gatherings. We were a party of about 30 people. We had our own section of the pub and the food was served buffet styled. Very relaxing and casual atmosphere. Irish beer on tap and mixed drinks to order. Good food and service, everyone had a great time. I really prefer the buffet format over the stuffy sit and get served way, you have a better control of portions, everyone is left fat and happy.

This is my favorite Irish pub anywhere, well except a couple in Ireland. The four of us had a nice relaxing dinner with some live music. I love the meatloaf with the dark gravy!!!

Service was efficient and friendly, the food was really hot.

A couple comments, I wanted the buffalo wings crispy and they were mildly crispy but not enough and there was a hair on my plate under the gravy cup.

Everything else was great.

I'll certainly be back again and again.

Great authentic Irish pub. Best Guinness in Maryland!

Never disappoints. Always top notch food and service. Beef stew and fish and chips were both prepared nicely. Calamari for appetizer, perfectly cooked.

This is a great traditional style Irish Pub serving authentic Irish flavors and awesome brews. The food is simply amazing as well as the ambiance and decor. The service is remarkable with fast turnaround. Brunch is spot on as well as the weekend scenery complete with live music. Legit good times.

I have been here less than a dozen times over an 8 year period. It never fails to make me wish I lived in this town. The food offerings are excellent. The service is unbeatable. The live music - check their calendar - is always spot on. Jamie and Cheyenne are entertaining behind the bar.

I have never had a disappointing meal. This visit, i had the Corned beef Poppers - STOP! Do NOT Sleep on this treat! OMG! Succulent corned beef - really! Probably the best corned beef I've ever had, but nestled in a shroud of beer batter that just breaks the meter on flavor.

Tomato whiskey soup. Sheesh! their take on a tomato basil, but less basily and oh so good!

Fish and chips, ... enough for two solid meals! Great stuff!

Soooo yum. I always get the corned beef and cabbage and it’s great, but the beef stew is EVEN BETTER. Service is awesome, and they have tons of spiked eggnog options around the holidays. Go here!!

St. Patrick's Day has moved Brian Boru up a notch to 5 stars. From the parking help, to the host, to the food and friendly service, Brian Boru has succeeded at wow-ing me. Roast chicken was fantastic and paired well with a Guinness and the light bread pudding dessert. Kudos to everyone for the planning, preparation, and execution of this iconic Irish holiday event.

When we are in town, this is our go-to pub. An Irish flair with good Irish fare. I especially like the shepherd's pie. Friendly wait staff. Good beer selection. Love the atmosphere.

The food and drinks here are consistently great and the staff is always friendly. Special mention to Jamie, our bartender, who is attentive (and funny). If you go here, tip him extra :)

The Brian Boru Restaurant and Pub is quite a nice little restaurant. It is not the fanciest restaurant, but it still has some quality food. Most of the menu items are older, Irish-style foods. For example, I got the Medieval Beef Stew. It's a good place to go that's not too crowded and feels nice while only being around 20$ per person.

The food here was great. My husband and I had the same dish unfortunately so we couldn't share but we just couldn't put out forks down. Sorry the pictures are not great, but I always forget to take them before I start eating lol. We went here when covid was still peaking, so the place was pretty much empty and not much going on but the vibe was still nice. Our server was awesome and he took good care of us. We will definitely come back and try to listen to some music and have some great Irish food.

Waiter (Greg) was exceptional: personable and attentive without hovering. Food has always been good there. We had the Boru bowl and Irish Breakfast this time. Shepard's pie is also one of our favorites.

My husband and I planned our anniversary at the EscapeTime Room and figured since we had quite a long wait we'd go into Brian Boru's Restaurant. The place is great if you're looking for good food, vibes, and music☺ There was not a long wait at all. The server was attentive to our needs and the bathroom was clean. The tables and bar seating was spaced out for social distancing.

I’m obsessed with this spot- their whiskey selection is top tier (I got their Killowen Distillery Irish Blended Whiskey 10yr Txakolina Acacia Cask - Experimental Series and I would say it tastes like setting honeysuckle on fire in your mouth). Their lamb burger is divine and shepherds pie mac n cheese is oven baked with crispy cheesy topping. They often have live music and it’s a treat!

Food is always consistently great! Been here multiple times and had numerous items from the menu. Always enjoy their food.

What a great Irish Pub! Fantastic food and great drinks. We had some happy hour appetizers as well as an entree. We had a large group and tried so many different things. Everything was great!
