Allen Pond Park

Visited during Juneteenth Family Day at the park. Nice location, clean, multiple playgrounds available for the children to play. All of the playground equipment is in excellent condition. The grounds are well kept. The people were all respectful of one another. Officers were present and friendly.

I enjoy taking my grandson to the baby 🍼 swings 💘 at the 2 to 5 years old playgrounds. There is one baby swing that is attached to a regular swing. I can swing too! Fun times 😁 with my grandbaby 😌

My husband and I reminisced this park, we sold our 2nd home, and rented a townhouse in the Bowie, Md area, while our dream home was being built, we loved this neighborhood! We took advantage of the running trails, Allen Pond Parks, the nearby shopping, restaurants, movies...all within walking distance..it was such a burts of fresh air to take all in...we would love to relocate back to the area....The park is still amazing! Can't wait to see the fireworks!

It was the paddle boat rental for us. My daughter and I spent some time alone here and enjoyed ourself to the fullest we will be returning with our gazebo 🤣

excellent park, I love it when I go with my children, the lake in the middle is simply relaxing and de-stressing, they have two playground for children indicated by age, soccer field, basketball courts, skatepark, also is great for riding bicycles, you can see and hear the ducks, and the birds flying .

The serenity and peace you feel from walking here are top-notch. It's usually never too busy, and a clear fall day is like something you'd see in a photographer's portfolio. Pics included as proof! The ice skating rink right next to it is also a huge draw of that's your thing. The breeze off the water in summer is enough to drop the near a few degrees. Absolutely gorgeous no matter what season you visit! Just make sure you visit!!

Nice clean park. Plenty of space to enjoy a walk around the pond. Also there’s plenty of parking! There’s a skate park , basketball, and soccer fields. There’s some empty field as well. There are picnic tables available and two children playground. One is for older kids and one is for toddlers

Great place for little ones to ride bikes.

This is such a gorgeous place for relaxation, workout/jogging, picnic & small family cookout, or taking a paddle boat ride across the pond. There’s also a playground area for kids, a stage and ice arena. Lots of photo opportunities of the gorgeous and serene atmosphere. Definitely add this place to your summer checklist!

The pond is beautiful. It's serene and everyone says hello while you walk. There are two foundations in the pond that keep the water circulating. They have duck boats in the summer. Great playgrounds for little ones. There's ducks and geese. Some bbq tables but it says by permit only.

Despite the enormous amount of people there, everyone has having a great time. The kids all were playing together, the playscapes are wheelchair accessible and there is plenty of shade! My only wish? At least a portable bathroom back by the 5 and under playground.
Next time I want to use the paddle boats and actually stay for the outdoor concert!

This park is my absolute favorite! There are not many like it in Prince George's County Maryland. There is so much to see and do including: a ice rink, skateboard, several ball fields, bbq rental spaces, a pond that many people walk around for exercise, a toddler and big playground, stage & events (including fireworks), outdoor exercise stations, and a big pond with ducks and some even go fishing. This is a clean place where you can enjoy sitting by the pond alone or enjoy with family. I love this park because there is so much to do and see. I really WISH that there were more parks in PG County that were designed like this one. There is something to do for everyone.

Very well kept and so much to do here, from ice skating, concerts, a day at the park, or picnicking. Plenty of wide open space to go running or for a short hike. Multiple playgrounds around the park and there are public restrooms provided.

Love this place our church has it's picnic there. Beautiful area love the ducks in the pond, would I go again. absolutely! Also dog friendly, restroom was clean.

Always a great walk! My favorite part is when you get to the more heavily wooded part of the path - makes it seem like a hike in the woods. There are multiple "unofficial" trails to the water. Perfect for walking your buddy. Multiple picnic areas (require reservations), and a really nice playground for the kids. A really great time.

A very nice park with lots of rides and activities for both kids and parents. Also has an Ice Arena, soccer field, picnic areas and a pond. Very neat and spacious with public restroom.

Wonderful park! You can fish in the pond, ice skate in the ice arena year round, and for your children, there are multiple playgrounds with interesting contraptions and themes. Very family friendly, so a picnic will be marvelous here, there is something for everyone! Overall a very good place to chill, play, or even go on a date. Highly recommended!

Excellent place to walk, enjoy geese, ducks, squirrels, birds, etc. Two huge playgrounds, walking path, pavilions, grills, outdoor stage, picnic tables, benches, etc.

Took me back to when I was an child. With Visits to Mt trashmore in va beach va when it had paddleboats. So it's only right that my children get the same experience just different park. Nice pond with decent trails open grilling and some reservations grilling areas. Also allows fish as well
