Smokey Bones Bowie

Dinner this evening was at the Bowie location. Our server Maya was very pleasant, friendly, and attentive to our order, especially when I asked about the cole slaw. Cole slaw was creamy with the right amount of sweetness. Food was good, but the wings were a little too hard for my liking as well as the slow cooked sausage. Both had a great flavor. My dinner companion ordered the grilled cheese brisket sandwich with loaded mashed potatoes. It was excellent!! We also ordered the cornbread, which came with honey pecan butter. Delicious!!

Our waiter Geo was attentive respectful conversational and hardworking. He made the experience that much more enjoyable. The food was amazing. I always love the baked beans but we ordered the magnachos and they were appetizing and beyond pleasing. The meat was filled cooked and perfect. Thank you guys, I'd love evey experience to be like this one. ❤

Geo was mad funny,, very polite helpful. Gave great suggestions very humorous. The atmosphere was a whole vibe. Drinks with very strong food was A1 definitely will come back.🫶🏽

It’s a chill night with my baby girl, servers were very kind and attentive to our needs. The food came out in good time, both the steak and ribs were tender and flavorful. Very easy to enjoy with music

The service at this location is excellent. From the time we hit the door for dinner everyone was so nice and helpful. I definitely want to give a special shout out to or server maya, who made the dine in experience today absolutely special. Myself and husband went out for a break from kids dinner, the restaurant was clean staff at front very friendly our server Jamie was amazing !! So sweet and kind . I haven’t come across a waitress who uses manors!! Jamie went over the weekly deals that we never knew about! Thank you but the service we received amazing she was on point asked all the right questions even questions I’ve never been asked for food came out quick was hot and tasted amazing. Definitely had Jamie write her days down she is amazing I will be back just to see her and eat that amazing bbq ! And wings omg !! Thank you smoky bones thank you Jamie, your service and personality will definitely brings us back out !! You made our sneak out night so much more perfect!!!! Thank you Jamie again!!! You are the best server I have come across in a very long time !!!

Maya was amazing. This was my first visit here EVER… definitely not my last. Maya provided amazing service. She gave me great suggestions for the food order. The barbecue chicken left me wishing I had gotten the 1/2 instead of the 1/4. Maya allowed me to celebrate my little one. Nice atmosphere! I will definitely be back. Came all the way from Waldorf! Thank you again for your amazing service and food!

Really great barbecue restaurant staffed by people who care. We were greeted warmly on arrival. Our server, Helen, explained the specials and made recommendations for our tastes. Barbecue pork plate was lean, flavorful and filling. Brisket grilled cheese was really good with the addition of grilled onions. At the end of the meal, Patrick, the service manager, stopped by to check on our meal. Very attentive service. Well done.

The nachos are my favorite with a side of coleslaw. It sounds like an odd combination but it’s so good together! Smokey Bones coleslaw is some of the best around and is made just like my dad used to make.
To give you an idea of how good the nachos are, my husband and I have gone there for them twice in one week!
Everyone is nice and friendly as soon as you walk in the door. Today our server was Yasser and he was very nice, attentive and thoughtful which along with the good food made a very pleasant dining experience!

The wings and pecan, strawberry chicken salad was so delicious. Our server Geo was very professional and attentive. Oh, and the prices are unbeatable. I definitely will be a repeat customer, and I highly recommend this place to anyone one who is looking for good food, excellent service, and a relaxing, fun environment.

Good food. Good service. Everyone was friendly. The baby back ribs are really good. I would have taken a photo. But the food looked so good i tried one piece of the ribs it was a wrap. Good.

We had a great time at Smokey Bones this past Memorial Day. The food did not disappoint and the service was great. Our server’s name was Ashley and she was so friendly. She was really patient with our order and even gave us some good recommendations. On top of that she made sure that our table never needed for anything. We will definitely be coming back soon.

I went to Smokey Bones and absolutely loved my server Maya. She was very professional and friendly. After a long day at work it was a treat to have a good meal and great service. I will definitely be back.

We arrived around 1130, had great service. Our waiter was super friendly. We mentioned a special we received an email about and the waiter knew exactly what we were talking about. Our food arrived quickly, everything was hot. Ribs were fall off the bone delicious.

Geo was our superb server and added additional flavor to our already scrumptious meal. Great food! Ambience was lit! Definitely an all time favorite.

Jasmine is an awesome server, and definitely no judgement when I ordered this mountain of meat on a bun. 😅🤣

Lou, in the kitchen crafted this thing beauty, we call it The OBIE: 2 beef patties, 1 chicken breast, bacon, American cheese, pulled pork, and garlic mayo.

Kelly was nothing short of AMAZING! I enjoyed the food, drinks and most definitely the service. This is my second time here and service has consistent.

On Saturday November 4, 2023, me and my family decided to grab a bite at Smokey Bones in Bowie. Upon arrival, they were jam packed and the kitchen was behind on orders. We were told it would be at least a 30-45 min wait for food. This was a risk but we still decided to say. The food and drinks took alittle longer than normal but the customer service was excellent. Eric was our server, I saw him making orders as well as serving multiple tables. He was very personable and took care of all our needs. In addition to Eric, Patrick is a supervisor but at the time he was really doing a great job. He made sure everything was going well and even bought out our food. He was extremely nice and made up for the extended wait time.

Service was superb. I just wish when I placed my order, the front desk lady told me my orders were on special, so I could have ordered more. I know the next time now. First time there but I'll be definitely going back.

Great food and great experience. Corey was attentive enough that I didn’t have to ask or wait for anything, but not so overbearing that I couldn’t enjoy my book in peace. Thank you!

Oh yeah, and the old soul music playing in the background was definitely welcome.
