Cajun Seafood

Now this location is lil more hard body NOLA than the larger N Clairborne locationwhere you can dine in....BUT as a bonus they sell bottle liquor here...on January the crawfish are not in season but the fresh ones were still good (samples given if requested) Global Warming must be changing things. The gumbo needed a lil extra love once I got home so I added salt and hot sauce but I respect the way they let you season your Own food as you like, especially with gumbo at least it wasn't over done.

The Mud bugs needed nothing but cracking and sucking. I was in heaven as I ate this I love this food chain.

The shrimp fried rice is a must try! We had it as a side dish for the fried oysters, but the fried rice was just too good!! The boiled Cajun egg was an interesting dish, flavor that I have never had before but I really like it! Fried chicken was a little too salty for me but the texture was very good!

Nice area to sit outside and in. The prices were the best I've seen since being in town. Crawfish was 15-18 A POUND everywhere else, but here? 6 bucks! They were a little spicy (which I love) with a hint of sweet that calmed it and kept me eating! I got a full lobster with a side of butter for 13.50. You can't beat it! Plus, the service was fast, and the female cashier was friendly and welcoming. I'll be returning when back in town for more!

The 2 of us were curious about Yaka Mein soup and heard this place had some of the best in NOLA. When we saw how low the prices were we figured we'd better get some other dishes to make for a full dinner. We ordered one beef Yaka Mein and one shrimp Yaka Mein. Also got an order of gumbo and a small order of chicken wings. We were stunned how large the quantities were and impressed with how good the quality. The beef Yaka Mein was easily enough for two and, combined with the gumbo, we were plenty full. We saved the shrimp Yaka Mein for the next day and ate the the wings then, too. As you can see in the photos, the Yaka Mein was absolutely loaded with shrimp.

Locals’ favorite Cajun food. I visited this place back to back. So good!!! Found about this place from the lade working at different restaurant. Saved in my favorite spot in NOLA. Tried craw fish, crawfish boudin, pork boudin, sautéed crab, and Gumbo so far. Guys, I don’t usually write long reviews unless it’s so worth it.

Spicey Cajun take out that is not a tourist trap.
They are busy so expect to wait in a line. The food is worth it. Menu is full of seafood, meat, vegetables and drinks of all kinds. Corn was overcooked and the spiciest of all the items. The garlic bulb was 👌

This corner shop is exclusively a takeaway location. But the selection, pricing, and flavor are fantastic. There’s a reason why this place is packed with locals.

It was cold and raining but I refused to let that stop me from getting my eggs and meat pies (they were being made fresh)...I had to leave out cuz the spices wore my sensitive sinuses out and I didn't wanna be coughsneezing all over the joint but I popped a benadryl and went to work on that food😩😂...I don't know who the chef is but 🫡 🔥 🔥 🔥 every time

Excellent seafood! Huge Shrimp n Mud Bugs!!! Perfectly seasoned! Corn tasted burned today but I don't even care!!! The potatoes were perfect! Two of my sisters came from Houston to visit for my birthday weekend. They loved this place!

Best boiled crawfish in NOLA! They have great prices on fresh crawfish by the sack as well. Highly recommended! The gumbo is top notch. Can't go wrong with anything on their menu.

OMG! The line was almost to the door and it was a good distance from the door to the register. This place sells cooked as well as fresh seafood. My family and I went for the fresh seafood and it was DELICIOUS!! shrimp, crab legs, bolied potatoes, corn...all so good! Seasoned and cooked perfect! Neighborhood may intimidate some people, but this place was seafood heaven!

Visiting from out of town and I've been chasing some REAL Louisiana food. I definitely found it here. The crawfish were amazing! The perfect blend of seasoning and spicy. The sausage and potatoes were like nothing I've had before

Cajuns in Uptown will sometimes have a labyrinth of a line and it be well worth the wait. The prices have been going up and not sure if thats due to a lot of them accepting EBT and Snap benefits or normal cost of living increase.

Serves some very good New Orlean seafood, ranging from crawfish, to boiled shrimp and crabs. The crawfish was flavorful and each bite was full of New Orlean spices. The shrimps were huge and a pound was more than enough for a full meal. Take out only, did not see a place to sit. The restaurant location was sketchy. I would not go there at night. Prices were good, market rate for crawfish was $6.99 a pound. Shrimp was $9.99 a pound Going during the day, I definitely would repeat. I took my food to the City Park and got some Cafe du Mond beignets for dessert.

Take out only. Sell a variety of Chinese, poboys, boiled seafood. The real taste of New Orleans boiled seafood..Not much for vegetarian.

Good food and not to pricey. The voodoo crayf rolls are excellent.

LOVES love this place of goodness. I ate the seafood to fast to take a picture. Turkey necks, crawfish, potatoes, and corn. All of it is Good. Staff is fun and down to earth. It's a must if you haven't been to go as soon as possible.

Cajun Seafood never disappoints. The seafood flavor and freshness is top tier. I highly recommend. Oh yeah, watch out for the boiled corn and potatoes… really spicy but delicious..
