Lincoln Beach

Such a beautiful hidden gem!! So glad we discovered it. The adventure getting to it was quite fun and really out of the box! Can’t wait to return and be able to get into the water!

Great place to take the family for a day out on the water. We did some fishing and swimming they do have grills and picnic areas.

Low key beach. I like going to places the locals hang out and this was a nice chill location and family friendly. Just gotta hop the fence and cross the railroad tracks and enter thru the brick entrance. Ladies don’t wear your heels.

Had a great time cooking lunch in the grill here. A bit of an interesting trip in, but a great little private beach. It's being cleaned up from the looks of it by the people who frequent the place. It's a unique little place to hang out.

Got to experience a piece of history.

Closed but you can still walk in and visit the beach and see some amazing graffiti

The history of this location alone, makes it a worthy journey for you and your family. Though it's never been restored, this "secret beach " is full of charm and peace.

Minimal litter, great people, and amazing views of the lake.

Cool little spot, cleaned up locals.
I really hope the city does some constructive with this property.

Was a cool trip and with the trash and ruin remains and its history, its definitely a spooky spot to visit for hallowen.

The hardest part about reaching this beach is hoping a fence but it's worth it. The water was warm and it wasn't that deep. Very peaceful

Born and raised in New Orleans ❤ but I've never heard of Lincoln beach before so my oldest sister told me all about the beach how it all started lif anyone wants to do some history google it read the story share the info on social media go visit don't need Myrtle Beach anymore have my own beach in New Orleans

Few people visit this beach. Its along the route i walk on Hayne blvd. Come! Don't forget to wear your swim trunks along with 🏊 shoes

It is a paradise. Major thanks to all that have spent time cleaning up the beach and making it so amazing.

Hoping that the city will not interfere and just support all the good work already being done. Would be great to have an accessible entrance for all and a safer place to park.

The beach was lovely the people bus friendly and the water just felt beautiful wind blowing. We spent the night on the beach it was so beautiful and felt so comfortable and relaxed and no one wanted to go home. It was a very needed peace of mind for us all

Probably the cleanest area of New Orleans...
