Broad Creek Park

I enjoyed a nice hike through the woods here. Trails were pretty well marked. There is a variety of difficulty with some wide, flat gravel trails and other rooted and steep trails.

This is a go to trail for me. The top loop nearest to Harry S Truman Pkwy has some closed parts. Go the other direction instead until that work is done. The other way does bring you to a 'bridge closed' sign, but the bridge is there. Instead of risking it, go a little farther to the left and you can cross over there. The rest of the trail is great .. well marked, lots of hills, some really beautiful views of the water.

Nice trail. Relaxing and peaceful

Nice hidden trail. Mostly tree covered. Took about 1 hour to do the loop with a 5 year old who likes to stop and explore. Heard lots of frogs and even caught a small one. Peaceful by the marsh.

This is a well hidden park that totally pays off if you're willing to find it. I visited on a Monday morning in a rainstorm and I'm really glad I did - the trail was abandoned and the deer couldn't hear my footsteps so I got to see several. This trail takes you right up to the edge of Broad Creek and it's just beautiful. The first short part of the trail takes you past a government building that is eerily abandoned, and it looks like something out of an apocalypse.

Again, just keep in mind that they seem to be interested on keeping this place hidden despite the fact that it's open to the public. Don't get discouraged if you can't find it right away!

Lovely park to walk dogs. Nice pretty trails that are not too long or short. The perfect little place to get some exercise. Open from dawn to dusk.

Hidden gem of a park in an industrial area. Nice trails to walk or run on, great nature watching.
