Annapolis Waterworks Park

Outstanding place to MTB. Maybe not the best for beginners, but once you get a little fitness and a little skill there's some fantastic flow to be found here. Beautiful sights during the fall as well. Just have to watch out, the leaf cover can get pretty bad.

Truly scenic park. Definitely worth the fishing permit even if for the month.

The trails are well marked, reasonably maintained, and scenic. The trails also are long enough to provide decent exercise.

Great place for biking and hiking natural trails. About 11 miles cut in all by volunteers. No parking inside Waterworks without annual pass but plenty of parking near entrance off Housely Road.

I was here Mountain Biking with my son and some friends. Enjoyed the trails - good climbing and downhill, a bit technical in parts for us average riders on old equipment. The volunteers did an awesome job knitting this trail together - get out and enjoy!

Great trails for hiking and mountain biking. Some sections are challenging on a mountain bike but overall beginner friendly. Do not go if it's muddy!

Requires a permit. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Benches to sit and relax. Enjoyed watching nature do its thing. Quiet except for the road noise. A wonderful day of 'doing nothing'! Thankful this area is preserved. I hope they maintain it and not change it or upgrade for people any more than it is.

Great place!! I have driven past it for 30+ years and never pulled in there till recently. Wish I would have known about it a long time ago. Need a permit from Annapolis to park and access the water area.

Fun park with access to trails. Easy parking and let friendly. Trails are narrow so watch for bikes but everyone we encountered was very polite and careful while passing.

We got great exercise hiking up and down the ridges. The woods were alive with Robins going after the Holly berries. Around the solar facility we saw quite a few Bluebirds, and some Flickers and Woodpeckers

Wonderful little gem right outside of Annapolis. Great fishing and hiking. (Catch and release only) NOTE: permit from city required for entrance.

Great biking / hiking trails. Signs with directions and even air and tools for bikes. Cool place.

I hooked the Overlook Trail asking the east bank of the reservoir. Saw a bald eagle scouting for fish on the opposite bank.

We always enjoy our hikes. Will do more hikes.

Fun fishing there because of the amazing fish it was my first time fishing there but now I want to go back

Beautiful area. Lots to do. Academy campus is beautiful.
