Post 25 Kitchen & Lounge

This place is very good! The steak was delicious. It was a little on the pricy side, but compared to the surrounding "steakhouses," it's was 10 times better.

The fries were just normal fries, nothing special. The wait wasn't horrible for the number of people that were dining. I will definitely be here again!

We were out of town and had plans to have a big Thanksgiving feast at the house we were staying at with family. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out as planned. We wanted a Thanksgiving style type dinner and were out of luck everywhere downtown. Happened to check out Post 25. They were slammed!!! But, they got us in immediately sat us. The food was delish! Just like a home cooked Thanksgiving meal. Excellent service as well. Thank you!!!! 😊

How do i put words to compare to this exquisite restaurant?! The most enjoyable atmosphere, the lighting, the fireplace by the bar, or the staff that waits on you, hand and foot. Very romantic for a couple and very easy going for the singles. The food is amazing. I ordered the Salmon Santorini 😋 The best salmon I've ever eaten. I also sampled the Catfish special! The most amazing catfish I've ever had. I will never eat catfish at another restaurant again! The cocktail menu is excellent. This menu was prepared by an amazing Chef for certain. Please try this restaurant if you are in Ashville, traveling or local.

The food was really, really good and I truly enjoyed the grouper ruben sandwich. The egg rolls were hmmmm good. Everything we had was delicious.

Nicely organized menu with lots of choices. They are happy to make changes if you want to modify a a menu item.
Updated decor. Pleasant and fresh. Very clean. Our meals were great and fairly pricrd.
Waitress was very good. Helpful and efficient.
A great place to take people with a wide variety of menu items.
The $13 weekday Blue Plate specials are a bargain. Full meals, NOT small portions.
1/5/2024: Daily special was catfisb. Very good. I upgraded my side to a salad. Good and generous size. Very clean restaurant.

I ran in on a Friday to snag the $13 dish & chips lunch special. In and out in maybe 30 minutes?
This place has winter lodge vibes neets a Denny's in such an interesting way. It's definitely a neighborhood hang.
Friendly waitress, food was out quick. The fry on the fish was great. The fries weren't my jam but I have strong feelings about fries.
Can't wait to go back. Next time I'll grab a spot at the bar. Totally different vibes in there.

Our server Katie was kind, personable, and attentive! She made sure we were happy with the order in which our food came out, made sure everything tasted great, and kept our beverages full. The atmosphere is nice and friendly, and they have decorative sound deadening around to make it easy to speak with your table! It wasn't overcrowded or too loud or anything. The food was incredible- the wings are double breaded, the sweet potato fries are crispy, the Carolina Crickets are SO good. I had such a great first visit here, I hope to return soon.

I have eaten here many times and have never had a bad meal! Service is usually adequate and sometimes fantastic! The most recent visit was for a birthday party and our waitress was amazing! She brought my daughter extra paper to draw on. Little touches like that make all the difference. The food is top notch. Tried the Greek nachos this time and they were delicious. The Greek fries and Grouper Reuben are also favorite picks among our family. Prices are fair as well. Definitely a great choice.

I have wanted to stop here for years and we finally did for dinner!! You won't regret it!! Friendly wait staff, very family oriented!! Food was fantastic!!! We split a side caesar salad, prime rib sandwich and onion rings and splurged for a piece of perfect chocolate cake afterwards!!! Lovely interior and a great ending to a busy day!!!

Our gang eats here every so often and they handle our large group like champs. Great service and excellent food choices. We shall return.

My wife and I visited Post 25 Kitchen & Lounge for the first time 17-Feb-24 and found it to be a diamond in the rough. The service was spot on and the meal was delicious. I had a Patty Melt and it was probably the best I have ever had. Generally if you need to wash your hands after eating a sandwich, it was good. And the onion rings were prepared just as we like them. We had added Post 25 Kitchen & Lounge to our 'Favorites' and will return.

Had a really good Reuben sandwich here, hubby and I split it because it's huge and there is no way either of us could finish a whole one. The restaurant is clean, staff is very friendly and helpful. Haven't' been in the bar yet but our next trip we plan to sit there. Very inviting...definitely recommend.

I visit this restaurant a lot. This time, we met a friend from out of state. It's easy to find, plenty of parking, and the atmosphere is conducive to conversation. I always share the Bavarian pretzel with my husband because it never disappoints. The tiger wings were on everyone's menu, but there are amazing choices for any pallet. Kind staff and clean facilities round out the many reasons we make it a point to regularly visit.

Ample parking available. There is a handicap accessible entrance. They have indoor and outdoor/patio seating. Dogs are allowed on the patio. There are multiple vegetarian options available. I've enjoyed my good the multiple times I've been there.

We had to wait a little while. But that was just because it was a Friday night. The food was amazing and the service was stellar. And the waitress was SO nice, and she was also very funny. I think her name was Thalia? I will definitely come back, 10/10!

New place while we were in town.
I got the Ramburger. (*Bacon, cheddar cheese, fried egg, fried onion, and mayo.) with a side of onion rings.
First off, the Onion Rings are different. Don’t see too many places serve them like string onions. Taste tho. The burger was cooked to perfection and good size. The egg was a bit undercooked for my liking but all good.
Washed it down with a local craft ale.
Waitress was great and very attentive.
If we lived in the area we would definitely make this place a fav. Little on the pricey side so maybe once a month… 🥴

First visit and it was great. Friendly staff, with it being crowded the waiter was still very attentive. The French dip with Greek fries and Philly Steak Pizza were delicious. If not familiar with the restaraunt, the parking lot is a bit tight, and can be difficult to navigate as I noticed with many guest coming and going. Overall, if ever in the area again we will come back.

Oh my goodness this was our first dinner place when we visited our daughter and it surely left us wanting to come back. Our first stop on our way back tonight.
First of all our waitress Eli was amazing and we had no idea it was her first day as waitress. She knew the menu so well and helped by recommending the artichoke dip.
Ohhhh my goodness, It was delicious, and the pita chips we could have taken a bag home. My husband had the ribeye steak that was cooked to perfection. I had the fish and chip with sweet potato fries that was so delicious and our daughter had grilled chicken with veggies and sweet potato fries. Highly recommend their French fries and sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious!!
Is a little pricey but totally worth it when you consider the amount of food, quality and service.

Post 25 have really taken their food, service and atmosphere to the next level. Their food has always been good, but the last few times has been extraordinarily great. We had a lunch meeting today and decided on post 25. We started out with the Mills River Mushrooms which was cooked to perfection, followed by the hand battered chicken tenders and chicken sandwich.

We had great conversation with the bartender Des, she was phenomenal, attentive and extremely polite. I highly recommend this place for your dining experience!

Update 9/24/21- still loving Post 25! And the French ‘75 cocktail is just fabulous!!

The food has never disappointed me. Now, with all the COVID safety precautions, it continues to be a wonderful place to enjoy fine food and succulent spirits while safely distanced from other patrons. I highly recommend this restaurant...delicious! The photos were taken about 2:30 PM 11/13/2020.
