Smokin Yard's BBQ

Smokin Yard’s BBQ is a great spot to get your grub on! I haven’t had everything but everything that I’ve had has been delicious. If you’re lucky, there may be some burnt ends available, if you’re not lucky, anything else you get will be delicious! The brisket is great, the pulled pork is yummy, the fried okra is crispy, and the BBQ sauces are yummy too! Enjoy!

Great BBQ spot in Idaho Springs off of the I-70 corridor. Definitely worth a stop if you're passing through and craving some great BBQ! Super friendly staff and a full bar!

This place was amazing. I got the Carolina pulled pork with fried Pickles for a side. My boyfriend had the 2 meat platar burnt ends and brisket with Mac and cheese. Yum yum yum. So glad we hit this place at 11:15 in the morning. By 11:30 the line was forming out the door. We have tried to eat here many times and never braved the line before. We will now and forever be making this part of our regular stop on our travels to Denver! The staff is beyond welcoming and the place has family friendly feel. ❤

Our Hidee mine tour guide recommended this restaurant and we were so happy we followed it. The bbq and sides we chose was so delicious! We will eat here again when we are back in Idaho Springs.

This place is amazing. BBQ was top-notch. I had 4 different meats, and all were amazing. The sides were amazing. The price was amazing. The service was amazing, and the staff were super friendly. This is my second visit, and both times were the same experience. I really liked the extra hot BBQ sauce.

Had a craving for bbq and this place has fantastic reviews so we decided to give it a shot. This place does NOT disappoint. Those reviews ring very true. The brisket is not only tender but very favorable. The sides and the great selection of sauces were the icing on top. The staff is friendly and our food came out piping hot with little waiting time. My husband and I left very stuffed. I would definitely come back here again

We decided to stop in for snacks and ended up discovering this amazing BBQ joint! It was seriously the best we've ever had! OMG

Amazing place, GM was super NICE!!! The food was fantastic!! I had the catfish and onion rings. The tater sauce had a bit of a kick for my Mayo blood.
I stopped in off a road trip, and anytime I come this way, I plan to make a point to come here.
I normally don't like most beers, however, the wibby lager.

Great BBQ - try the creamed corn - their French fries were excellent. Their sauces were very good.

We travel to Colorado from Chicago every year, and every time we’re here we visit Smokin Yards….maybe twice in a week. All their food is phenomenal. We smoke meat at home for 12 hours to get it to taste this good, and our standards are high for BBQ. This place is THE BEST. Talk to anyone eating here and they’ll tell you how they go out of their way to make periodic visits to this place. It’s a gem.

You can eat inside, or outside in a covered patio. People may bring their leashes dogs to lay near their table. Every one has been well-behaved (because their owners are decent, no doubt).

Brisket, pulled pork, ribs, chicken corn dogs, chicken-style steak, potato salad, fried pickles, and Mac n cheese were all fantastic! Fries were just OK. Mud pie was also good.

Service was a little slow and they completely forgot to bring out our second order of desserts, but it’s still worth it to come out for this unforgettable food.

Can’t believe this has been so close to Denver and we just now discovered. Family of 4 and all agreed one of if not The Best BBQ ever. Definitely will drive up many more times. Nothing even close in Denver. Tasty slaw and fried pickles too. Meat super tender and great tasting sauces.

I stopped by for lunch and got some of the best BBQ I've had in a while. I got their smoked turkey, chicken, and brisket along with their potato salad and southern green beans. I was so full that I had to wait a few minutes before leaving the place. The atmosphere is family friendly, and the place has seating for 20 to 30 people.

I was pleasantly surprised to have such a fine barbecue meal in Idaho Springs Colorado. I ordered beef brisket and also the ribs. Everything was great. The prices are a little bit higher than I'd like but it's a resort town so I guess that's to be expected. I will definitely go back next time I'm in Idaho Springs.

My hometown has the award winning, #1 brisket in the nation, so my expectations are always for a lesser product when I eat elsewhere…. But. WOW. HOLY MOLY, this place has brisket that is every bit as delicious. This is easily the best brisket you can get at a restaurant anywhere in the country. Absolutely perfect, no sauce needed. Reasonable prices, great staff and service, and easy access. We might fly to Denver, rent another car, and drive 30 min into the mountains just to eat here again.

Stopped here on a motorcycle trip. One of the best BBQ places I have ever had in my life. The brisket was absolutely delicious. All sides and apps were great as well. I can't say enough about this place.

Favorite BBQ stop outside of TX! I come here every year, great bbq and sides. The Carolina pulled pork sandwich is my go to. Love the outdoor seating. Friendly and helpful staff as well.

Stopped here after hiking Mt. Evans. They have a large parking lot, indoor seating in front and covered patio outback.

My order was served in about 5 minutes which was impressive. Ordered the brisket sandwich and it outstanding.

Service was good, highly recommend for your BBQ fix!
