We arrived at almost closing time and they were gracious enough to seat us. The food came out fast and I had the turkey salad that was very good - I think the best was the Rubin sandwich which was excellent. Around the other side of the building is the Wheel ‘museum’ well worth a visit -it’s why I have so many photos…

Came here and got the crab bisque soup. Amazing ! Had Ella as a server she was super helpful with the menu and supper helpful. Great place

Upscale casual. Food was excellent. Crab cakes best I have had in years. Lobster risotto was amazing. Service was also excellent. Our server was Bella, a pleasant, charming young lady. Atmosphere is casual and historic. A great place to pass a nice evening.

Absolutely fantastic.Our first to this establishment. Excellent food ,we had a waitress name Elsa.Excellent service.Epic stop.Total Quality.

Haven't been here in about 15 years. We had an awesome meal across the table. Wings, short rib sandwich, mussels, pretzel with cooper cheese sauce, cheesesteak egg rolls. All great. Few things to call out:

* if you love coopers cheese like we do, them using coopers for their pretzel dip, the dip for the cheese steak egg rolls and cheese dip for fries will make you very happy
* French onion soup comes with scissors to cut through the cheese ceiling
* fish and chips are excellent. No extra breading like other places. Full piece of cod, fried lightly on outside.
* get the garlic fries vs the regular fries. Reg fries are great, but the garlic fries are much better.
* come here to try great beers on tap and in cans

Only feedback to give is to make the onion rings crispier.

My husband and I went here for a date night for the first time and absolutely loved every moment! Everything was fantastic - the service, drinks (highly recommend their specialty cocktail “winter chill”), food, live music, and overall ambiance. We will definitely be back!

Great all around; can't go wrong. I buy many Waterwheel Gift Cards for family & friends- everyone loves it! Updated, Beautiful atmosphere, comfortable dining, great food (often new items on the menu), great service, and plenty of free parking. We primarily dine-in, but love the food & take-out too. Always a great experience. I highly recommend.

Place is really cool. Food was excellent! For apps, we had cheesesteak egg rolls, which came with a Blanco cheese sauce and it was amazing! I got the Thai chili salmon, it was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The smokehouse burger was huge! They definitely don't skimp on that portion size. Drinks were tasty and for dessert we got the apple xango with ice cream. So so tasty! I can't wait to go back and try more items! Also, Harry our server was great!

First time at this restaurant and it was AMAZING!! From the atmosphere to the food to the service. We went to the Sunday morning brunch and the food selection was great! Our waitress was great and very informing when we asked her about the place. We will DEFINITELY be back!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We were back and yet again a great experience! Delicious food friendly service! Food, service excellent fresh and very tasty. What I would have like is some Irish music playing and the St. Patrick's Day specials, only available after 4pm. Though other than that great lunch, will be back.

Great local bar in Doylestown! Atmosphere is FUN, casual, homey and Nice! Food is fantastic bar food with drinks to match! Reasonably priced, and very kind service. Live bands here too! Be ready to run into locals you know!

My husband and I ordered take out from here to spice up our stay at home quarantine. We ordered the tavern special (two sandwiches and a 6pack) over the phone and when we pulled up to the restaurant it was immediately brought out to us! The food was incredible - my husband got the inferno burger and I got the pear and the partridge sandwich. Thank you for staying open during this time! It was a light of normalcy ☺ This was our first time as patrons and we can wait to come back to dine with you in the future!

We were in Bucks County visiting family. I spotted the Water Wheel Tavern and liked the vibe. We enjoyed the music, drinks, and food.

Here in the basement for a coed baby shower. There servers are awesome, the food was delicious, and the place is gorgeous. Will come back for dinner to this out of the way gem.

Enjoyed the food and outside seating on the patio. Had the fried cauliflower and the salmon dinner. Both were very good.

The food was exquisite, the service was impressive. Celebrated my birthday and my friend's birthday we had a lovely time.

Great little spot for a tasty bite to eat. The staff was friendly. Sweet potato perogies were awesome. Pickle Burger was a first, but won't be the last. We'll be returning.

Great atmosphere. I suggest reservations. Menu is broad. We had three appetizers and selections from the sandwich section. Food was great burgers cooked to appropriate stages. Great fries lol
