Altomonte's Italian Market

Stopped by Altomonte’s for a last minute birthday cake. There were a few great options but I went with the chocolate peanut butter mouse cake. It was absolutely delicious!!! The chocolate cake was super moist and the peanut butter mouse was so rich and velvety. It was a huge hit with everyone!! We will definitely be getting our birthday cakes here from now on!!!

Was taken there 2 years ago by my son who bragged about this “fantastic” Italian market. We were quite impressed, and have since given him and our 2 grandsons gift cards for Christmas. I just ordered 3 cards for this Christmas. Keep up the good work - excellent quality, selection, taste and friendly, personalized service.

Awesome place! Feed six people for a little over $20. Full-size and mini pizzas at very reasonable prices. Great fountain root beer. Great heroes. They have a very nice and spacious seating area.

A wonderful selection of Italian specialties, delicious soups (the beef with vegetables is the BEST) and they sell Harney & Sons teas too!

The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable about each and every item on their shelves.

I had to write a second review to let customers know that every time I order this gluten free caprese pizza it’s to perfection! I was never a crust person until having Altomonte’s pizzas and especially with Gluten free pizzas! The staff are so accommodating and nice. Just so happy I find this staple restaurant and market.

If you’re A pizza connoisseur then you have to try the Roman Pizza from the Pizza chef/ dough Expert Chad Lassin. The man is a Pizza Genius.He makes a Roman pizza ( see pics ) that is incredible. He explained it takes up to 92 hours to make and prepare the dough for this one of a kind artistic gem. This isn’t a pizza to be taken lightly. I want to thank The Pizza manager Vincent Basile for offering this great Pizza as well as the store manager Melissa Rago. They are a pleasure to work with. I can’t recommend this pizza and store enough. I’ve reviewed lots of Pizzas, some good and some horrific. I must say this Roman Pie is excellent and it’s at the top of my list. Bravo 🇮🇹.

Doesn't look like much from the outside but as soon as you walk in you feel like you've been transported to Italy. Prepared foods (frozen, refrigerated & hot), produce, bakery, pizza, coffee, imported cheeses, olive bar, catering, butcher shop & store made pasta and sauces. I would have never come in except that the dealership across the street highly recommend them. So happy I did!

They have such wonderful things here. Man I wish I lived closer. It's a lovely store and they sell things I just cannot get where I am.

Very busy for very good reasons! Large variety of Italian specialties. Catering available, good prepared meals, and food counters as well.

Been going to Altamonte’s for many years, even though I used to go to the one in Warminster, now that I’ve moved to Doylestown, I now go to this location. It’s close my house. I come here frequently and the service is always great. The food I get from there is always great!

Beth who works at the meat and cheese counter was one of the nicest and most helpful associates of any store I have ever been to! She is friendly and went above & beyond when she saw my hands were full and asked if I would like a basket and when there were none left, she brought me a small cart. Altomonte's food is exceptional and known throughout the county, but I would like to give them Kudos for hiring an exceptional staff member!

Best pizza in the entire Metro Philly area, yes better than Santucci's !

For the first time, went to this market to get a pre-made Thanksgiving meal for two people. The food was excellent including the vegetables where the green beans were actually cooked well enough to eat. Also, the packaging of each item was very good so that it stayed fresh for us to have it the next day. The staff are very friendly and kind.

Being from Texas you just get really good hard salami for snacking. Bringing some back to Texas so I can snack in style. Will be back in June to do it again! Thank you for being open and for keeping a safe environment!

I found everything I needed for dinner, pretty easily. Crushed tomatoes came in a glass bottle which I don't think I've seen before. A lot like Di Bruno Bros meets Wegmans. I liked it here.

My boyfriend and I went here for our first time today and OMG! It was amazing! I ordered an Italian hoagie and my boyfriend had a salad, we were both very impressed with the food, delicious and fresh! Staff was friendly and helpful and the store is very clean and well organized. Will definitely be coming back!

Had a real good Italian hoagie today. They just need better signage inside the store.

I have been coming here for years. Most of the time, I would give them 5 stars...salads, soups, and pre-cooked dinners are delicious. Sandwich, etc. orders from the kiosks are so yummy! Baked goods are hit or miss and many times on the dry side. Selection of pastas and sauces are normally very good. Milk products have had short fridge life and most fruits and veggies are yummy. Meats are super fresh! My last order was rung incorrectly, but manager made it right with no problems.

Wonderful staff, terrific selection acoss the board: fresh meats/poultry/deli. Love the pork gravy with deli sliced pork, homemade sausage with provolone. Tip of the iceberg... bakery, overall selection, on and on!!
Numerous visits and always consistent which is to say great. Staff is helpful, friendly, just top-notch. Literally everything is fresh, flavorful. Definitely the "go-to" place!

What a great find...it was like being in a candy store for a kid. Had an Italian roast pork sub that Rocked! Some much good stuff from bakery to butcher areas and everything in-between!
