Weis Markets

I hate to leave negative reviews, so I won't as this situation actually turned positive anyway.
It may seem trivial, but I quite often buy a bottle of wine at this store, and perhaps a couple (perhaps 6) general merchandise items.
Today however, the clerk working in the beverage area (where you MUST) check out informed me that as per her direct supervisor that 6 items is too much. Considering that there were no other customers in the area I was a little disappointed. After some inquiry on my part with regards to the "policy" I concluded I would get nowhere so I resigned to the fact that I would not have to go to another set of registers, wait in line at the Single full service register and go thru the check out process.
Maybe it's trivial, but I might consider just waiting in line at the state store next time (if I can't have the convenience of ease of checking out, what's the point). Might as well just order the merchandise on Amazon.
Well, it was all corrected when I checked at the service desk and asked for the manager. He was not available so a woman there suggested she would inform him of this, and assured me that 5, 6 or 7 items really should not have been a problem.
So, I'm happy with the results, and happy that several items (non-alcoholic in nature) can INDEED be processed at the a alcohol register.
I will continue to use this convenience.

Good prices and selection of goods.

I shop there for the friendly staff, a variety of multicultural and health foods. I found the vitamins I needed and all the posted savings got calculated on my self-checkout. Thanks Weis Markets.

This is the first time I shopped here because I needed a pharmacy. The Pharmacist here is amazing! I had a question and needed assistance and he took his time to help and was not only helpful but he was knowledgeable and patient as well. I highly recommend using they're pharmacy. I was impressed enough that I stopped by customer service and got a Weis market card. It only took a couple of minutes. So I did some shopping while I was there. Great selection of groceries as well as pre-made fresh meals, a loaded deli, bakery and a butcher with fresh meats and seafood including live lobsters. I highly recommend them.

Found everything we needed. Great coupon spend $40 get $10 off. Workers were very nice. Took home Fridays pizza.

Extremely friendly staff who are eager to help. They carry items I cannot find in the local Giant or Acme. The managers must be foodies, because they know the right stuff to order. My new go-to supermarket. Update: they now have self checkout with conveyor belts to unload your groceries first.

Nicely uncrowded in the mid morning or late afternoon and evening. Prices are below Acme (which has better produce and broader product selection than the smaller Weis) but similar to or above Giant (which has better produce and selection, but is crowded much of the time). The Weis pharmacy is permanently closed. Note, for OTC products the warehouse stores or online are best if large packing is acceptable.

Better prices than other food stores and excellent selection. Store staff goes out of their way to be helpful. I specifically went in for two items, left with more because of the current sale. Customer service is great, cashiers are friendly and helpful.

I like this store because I always find what I need and the prices are great. I like the self checkout, it's very convenient when I only have a few items. The store has good liquor selection. We do our weekly grocery shopping here. The store also accepts Google Pay.

Great experience every time I go there. My only problem is resisting the discount party shelf.

Helpful staff; family owned and maintained. Customers enjoy the produce which is better than Acme or Giant. Smaller store with less choice of specific labels, but never found lacking for what you need. Gives senior and military discounts on specific weekdays.

Average weis supermarket. I'd say their produce is really excellent compared to other stores in town. Other than that, an average supermarket that has what you need.

Clean, well stocked even with sale items. Employees are positive, professional and personable! There's a lot of competition for groceries in Doylestown but I prefer Weiss due to the happiness of the staff.

This is my favorite place to food shop. The Bakery is the best and the store staff is extremely friendly. The store is clean and it's a great place to food shop.

Weis grocery store in Dtown has great programs for kids - our Daisy Girl Scouts loved learning all about the supermarket, how to check out customers, where the trucks are unloaded, etc. The staff were fabulous, answered so many questions, & gave the girls tasty samples in nearly every department.

Hands down, reasonably priced in every department. By the way, their own brand sour cream is absolutely delicious!

Another grocery store. But Weis has some of the same brand name 's and alot of other brand names that maybe you can t find in Acme or Giant. They are really worth checking out their merchandise. ☺Go for it. What are You waiting for.??

I have moved away from the area but while I was living in Doylestown I shopped here and they were ALWAYS extremely nice and helpful. I need a little extra help and they never failed to step up to the plate and go above and beyond to make sure my needs were met. Thank you and I miss you all already!!

I love this store. Maybe its not super awesome selection, but it is enough for quick shopping. I can always find everything I need here. And its walking distance from my home.
