ACME Markets

We mostly use the pick up service at this Acme and have been so happy with our experience. I they always have most of the things I order in stock, and if it’s not in stock, they are good about the substitutions they offer. There have been a few times where the produce was not fresh, but when I called them to let them know, they were extremely generous in refunding me, as well as giving me even more than I asked the next time I picked up my groceries. They are so willing to make things right and are really great at communicating it. As a bonus, their app is very easy to use, and has some great meal ideas and recipes.

My friend and I went to Acme to look around as we hadn't been to this location before. What we found was a delightful array of tempting produce, seafood, grocery, bakery and deli items in a very clean and friendly environment. We even tried out the electric carts, as my friend is disabled, and she said they were the best and fastest ones she'd been on. We left with many purchases after filling our shopping cart.

Better than average grocery store. Slightly older, but the selection is better than most. Fruits/vegetable dept is well stocked with fresh items. Deli staff and checkout person were all friendly and helpful. This is my go-to store if I need a lot of different items/ingredients and I don’t have time to stop at multiple places. They always seem to have everything I need. My only criticism would be to try and cut back on the in-aisle displays.

The prices here are great especially compared to giant where I had been shopping. They now take EBT cards as payment for pickup which is incredibly helpful to me and my children. they also prepare your cart quickly.

I really like ACME because it is not one of these over the top grocery stores and has all quality products with a simple layout and easy to find things. The entire staff is always friendly. Giant opened a huge new store and I went once and never again. It was super crowded and hard to find things.
ACME has my loyalty for life!

I shop with my two little ones, 2 and 1, and the staff are always so helpful! They assist in finding the double strollers and opening special lanes for us for easier check-out. The deli always offers extra slices of meat and cheeses too. Everyone is so helpful and thoughtful! That's only a few of the considerate things that the staff are responsible for. We really appreciate them!

Great Store, the manager is super helpful. They are now carrying more vegan foods and a lot of new specialty items. Always happy to help the customers. They carry *Blue* treats for dogs too. Also carry a selection of International foods, love the British selection, has Heinz Baked Beans and HP sauce, great to add to English Breakfast meals. Produce section just keeps getting better and better, with more and more Organic produce, great for cold pressed juicing! Would love to see more vegan items. Super nice grocery store.

Bought 7 box of Ivan's Spice wafflers. Love these cookies. Acme well stocked, clean and good service

The store is great. It's been updated a lot since the 2000s, and still looks great! The staff is amazing, and very helpful. The store also has a new Beer & Wine section located in the former produce alcove, which is rare for a Pennsylvania supermarket.

They have milk, vitamin water, half and half, and my lemonade!! Giant's shelves had nothing and when I asked a person if they had more milk in the back, he said he was busy putting out shipment! Acme is very accommodating to the customer, they usually have what I need. Thank you Acme!

Clean market with a good selection. A bit more expensive than Giant for identical items. Has items Giant does not carry so we shop both stores. Excellent meat department which will cut steaks and other cuts to order. MOST Other local stores do not.

They did not have any good deals on energy drinks this week, but the Buffalo Chicken Tenders and Boneless wings are actually very good. Better then your standard grocery store quality.

A Big SHOUT OUT to the Doylestown Bakery. Impressive!! I traveled to this location for specific items I have been unable to find at other stores. I walked in and just beyond a well stocked Produce was Bakery. I didn't really need anything that would cause me to linger but the displays and tables were so inviting. Such variety and plenty of it, it would be nice to bring home a surprise. So, this Shout Out is meant as a "thank you" for bringing a little normalcy during an unusual time. Those specific items I traveled for, I found some of them but walked out happy anyway. Thank You ACME!

Acme in Doylestown is a great store. Attentive, helpful staff.... People who have been there years and really care, great prices (acme had to adjust when another store came to town), and it's remodeled and has a really nice organic/health aisle and beer! Always enough cashiers, and baggers.
Added 7/2018. I always type in my phone number and get great gas discounts. You don’t need a card AND the gas station is a regular gas station NOT one that belongs to the store and are hard to find.

I have been shopping at the Doylestown Acme twice a week for the past 17 years. The store is clean, the service above and beyond and the employees always courteous and professional. I would like to recognize one specific employee, Barb Alessandro, Front End Manager as she is nothing short of AMAZING. As the years have passed, and I have gotten older, I have developed a very serious blood condition which causes me to be in the hospital frequently. Since I shop there so often, I have gotten to know Barb, and she has come to my rescue many times when I have felt weak, not stable and barely able to get to the car with my groceries. When needed (which is often), she secures a helping hand for me unloading the cart, ensuring I have a packer and always getting me assistance with the groceries to car. She goes into action immediately, no need to even ask her. I ask that the ACME management recognize this incredible lady as she exemplifies daily what customer service is.
