The team at Newtown Sew and Vac were beyond gracious and cleaned out my vacuum hose free of charge! It’s very rare to see that excellent customer service these days. I will certainly be using them for any new vacuum purchases or more complex repairs in the future. 5 stars!!

My vacuum stopped working and I brought it into the store today. Within 2 minutes the owner of the store figured out the problem and fixed my vacuum. His customer service was second to none. I highly recommend Newtown Homeware Sew & Vac. Thanks again for your exceptional service.

What a wonderful shop Newtown, Sew and Vac is! Had a cat toy, stuck in the hose of my vacuum cleaner and took it to the shop, and the gentleman in the store was very kind, caring and performed “magic” to get the toy out of the hose. Moved into the area and was building a new home. Needed some appliances and went to the Princeton Miele experience center because I love their products. The Miele experience center recommended me to Sandor and Terri’s shop. Bought Miele washer, dryer, coffee machine, 2 vacuums, and their iMop and Larastar ironing/steam system after meeting with Sandor.
Best knowledge and service I have ever received, and they have been amazing with support post sale.
Don’t forget to talk to Sandor’s wife, Terri about the products there. They have the best products that make all the difference to preserve your clothes and take excellent care of the machines. Coffee beans are a must to try!

I had accidentally tossed out my filter frame for my Shark vacuum! Shark online was not only no help they were ineffective in servicing their own product. Newtown Homeware Sew and Vac "doctor" to the rescue! A new filter frame was retrofitted to work in my vacuum! I am thrilled! Saved me from throwing out a perfectly good vacuum! I will be buying and servicing my vacuums at Newtown Homeware Sew and Vac! Many other great cleaning/home products on display as well! Wonderful service! Thank you!

Today, in a climate with poor customer service, I experienced very outstanding service from Newtown Sew and Vac. I had my long malfunctioning vacumn treated like royalty, while I waited and it was fixed in the blink of and eye. I was also educated on how to keep it in top function. They are geniuses. Please support the local folks..

The owner helped with our Dyson vacuum, explained what was wrong with it and how we can fix it in the future by ourselves. Amazing place to stop by to fix or purchase your vacuum. We also got some European chocolates! Highly recommend to all, always support your local small business.

Sandor the owner is AWESOME! We took our vacuum piece here to be repaired and he was so creative and determined to find a solution. No one else would’ve given the time and work he gave, and we are so grateful. We’d go back here without question. They have a cool mix of homewares too, not just vacuums!

This is a nice store and the owner is very helpful and accommodating. I recently brought in my 13-year-old Oreck vacuum that needed a minor repair and he fixed it on the spot. I will definitely go back the next time I need a repair or have to buy a new vacuum.

Very helpful with my Miele and Dyson. Fixed both and now they run smooth again. I I’ll be back to buy a new vacuum when mine dies.

Just need to tell our community that if you need any service with your vacuum, Sandor is the one to trust to get the job done at a most reasonable price. I highly recommend this store. I haven’t bought a new vacuum in years and the owner was so very helpful and patient. He explained the pros and cons of many models and let me try any of them that I wanted. He really took his time with me and I never felt rushed even though the store was busy. Many people coming into the store couldn’t speak highly enough about it and the owner. That made me feel good about my purchase. This is the type of service that you just don’t get at the big box or ordering online. I think we forget how valuable and nice that is sometimes.

We had an issue with our Dyson cordless and brought it into this shop. It ended up being the most silliest of issues (a very strategically stuck colored pencil!) but the owner was so very helpful in getting it out and making sure it worked. He also let us know about the battery life (which is what we thought was the issue) and that he usually has the battery in stock, cost for when the time came to replace it. He did not take any payment for helping us with our repair, so we purchased some delicious Belgium chocolate (he has quite a selection of gourmet and European foods and housewares as well!). His friendliness was great and I highly suggest going here for any of your vacuum needs!

I bought what I think has got to be the best vacuum ever, not only does it work better than any other vacuum I've used, anyone who sees it tells me how cool it looks. I hear it all the time and I totally agree, check out the picture. See what I mean? Also, the staff is awesome to deal with, just super nice people, but it gets even better. Look closely at the decal, made in the USA! Yeah baby!!

I just returned from Newtown sew and vac. I can’t say enough about the wonderful service I received. He helped prevent me from having to buy a new vacuum which happens to be a Dyson. He very easily could have just got me to buy a new vacuum. I would strongly recommend anyone who needs a vacuum or need one repaired to go visit Newtown Sew and Vacuum

Amazing service!! I brought in 3 vacuums to get repaired and was able to pick it up the next day for a great price! They even explained what was wrong with each one, put in a new bag, and changed the filters. 10/10 would recommend!

Small businesses don't come any better than this. I stopped in with a vacuum that was 50+ years old, with concerns that it was not functioning properly. The owner inspected it and explained it was in decent shape, for its age. I was sure he would tell me it was old and offer to sell me a new one. But he didn't. When I asked him how much for the inspection, he told me no charge. When it is time for me to replace that vacuum, I'll be shopping here. While I was there, he took time to explain to me how a vacuum works and why I thought mine was broken. He offered background on models that I may consider in the future, with no pressure to buy and no heavy sales pitch. Just good, friendly business. Love that businesses like these still exist!

We went there to purchase a new vacuum. The owner has a lot of experience with all the types of vacuums and what we needed one for. Was excellent at helping us and putting us with the right vacuum that we wanted and the quality of vacuums at the store Is excellent. it’s great to still have someone with knowledge and customer service that can assist you with buying an appliance like this.

Had a great experience, went in with a problem with my older model Dyson vacuum and in very short order was walking out, problem fixed and no charge! What a great store. Terrific selection of new vacuums- which they could have tried selling me but instead provided top notch, caring customer service and sent me on my way. I will be back to support this GREAT small business when I truly need a new vacuum. Thank you so much!

I have been along time customer and love this small business and the owners. They are the nicest, most knowledgeable, honest and hard working people I have ever encountered. Now to the review!!! I have so many of their Meile appliances and love them. But I bought myself a Meile vacuum as a Christmas present. (No judgment people!😁). If you think it’s too expensive and not worth the investment — you are wrong!! This vacuum has suction like I’ve never seen before. I have 2 cats and a big dog and I know about sticky fur. This vacuum is so good, it sucked off a loose threshold board. I’m sorry I waited so long to buy the best vacuum ever!!!
