I've always had pain in my feet since college and always thought it was just me as I always bought expensive New Balance shoes all my life per the recommendations of other shoe stores. My wife came to this shop few months ago and Bob helped her find shoes specifically for her feet and she has never been happier. We were leaving for a big Italy trip for our honeymoon the other month and I was dreading it for all the walking we had planned to do.

Anyways, I went to this shop and Bob, the owner has to be one of the nicest people I have ever met in a long time. We had a great chat and I was surprised to find out he has been selling shoes for several decades. He inspected my feet and recommended some Brooks, additionally he suggested I wear shoes that are 1 size bigger than I normally do as I always have issues with my right toe getting injured. Had no idea that feet swell up so I went with his suggestion and I am so glad I did. I literally have ZERO pain in my feet now and can walk for miles. Thank you so much Bob, you are amazing which words simply cannot express my gratitude!

Also, I was surprised to see that his price was the same compared to Amazon or other online retailers so I would rather support a local business. I will always get my future shoes from here. I highly recommend this business 100%!

Fabulous store. So many options for women (lots of colors other than pink). Tennis, walking, running, all purpose. Staff is super knowledgeable. I was there with 3 other customers and the staff person was able to bounce around and give all of us personal attention. I love my new running shoes. This is my second time buying shoes here, won't be my last.

Bob the owner is amazing. He has on point with recommendations on whatever your needs may be, beginner to iron man. Iam a 6' 230lb RN that is on my feet 16 hrs a shift. My feet were killing me. He suggested the hooka bondi 7 and every part of my body has been thanking him. I bought another 2 pairs today, one for work and another to start running. I did 3.5 miles today and at 48 years old on top of it, I did it with comfort and ease. It would be easier to just order the 2 pairs online since I know what I like now. No way in hell. This guy deserves the business. All of the little guys do. He is so nice and knowledgeable, he will have my support till he retires. Thank you Bob, you are awesome!

I took up running since I moved to the city and started to experience leg pain since I am not used to running long distances on concrete. I was tempted to order shoes online but decided it would be a better idea to speak to someone and get a proper fit in person.

I stopped by and the owner was working at the shop. He probably saved me a lot of hassle. I walked out of the shop in 30 minutes with a comfortable shoe that has made running distances much easier. The shop owner was very knowledgeable, reliable and friendly. He made sure to understand what I was looking for then educated me on the best options. I was impressed with his selection of other athletic items and I highly recommend you check this place out! I'll definitely be stopping by again!!!

My girlfriend picked up a new pair of Brooks Ghosts at this store. The owner, Bob, was very helpful in selecting a pair that she liked and that fit very well. She needed a wider size and a different color than what was in the store so Bob had a pair shipped to the store within a couple days which was fine. Overall, she is very happy with the purchase and she isn't experiencing any foot/knee issues after her first couple runs. Her and I will be returning here in the future to make sure we are fitted properly and because Bob provided great customer service.

I can’t recommend this store and owner enough! He gave every customer in the store specific attention. He helped find great shoes to help with my training to run my first race and explained to me why they were good how my shoes should fit and why that mattered. The prices were also very reasonable. All around great experience and I will definitely be back!

Bob saves my feet! When I lived in PA I heard about Bob and this shop and began buying my shoes, and my granddaughter's shoes from him. He takes the time to examine your feet and is knowledgeable about what shoes will fit best. I have some foot issues, so appreciate Bob's expertise. Well, I've moved to CA and still call Bob to talk about the latest issue with my feet and to order shoes from him. They arrive in a timely fashion, and are always just what I need. Thanks Bob!

I normally buy my running shoes online but I was switching brands and therefore wanted to try them on before buying. The store is small but has an amazing selection of shoes and gear. I was so impressed with the customer service and knowledge without being a 'pushy sales person' that I bought the pair I tried on for $20 more than online.
I'll definitely be back!

When I moved here several years ago my running shoes were about worn through, and I needed something for an overseas trip fast. I stopped in and Bob fitted me expertly-- and when the new shoes didn't work out he let me change them to ones that did. I've been coming here ever since, and so has my wife and other family members. Great selection and beyond expert service, Bob is the best! And on the current models from name brands (Brooks, Saucony, NB) he's the same as on-line prices. Why would you go anywhere else?

Only complaint is downtown Newtown where parking can be scarce near the store. That's what happens when a place is popular!

My wife and I both come here for our shoes (and we only live 2 blocks away so it is easy for us as well). The staff is extremely helpful and the store, although not a "mega store" like a Dicks or Target, is jam packed with great products. From backpacks (I purchased a great North Face backpack there a few years ago) to hand warmers and all kinds of other accessories, they really do stock the best items. Typically I just purchase my New Balance running shoes but I also recently purchased a pair for my cross fit workouts and they did a great job recommending one with a greater amount of ankle support.

This is a wonderful store that I have been going to for years. Bob, the owner, and his son, know how to find the right shoe for your sport and that fits you best. They have an endless choice, prices are very good, and I love their clothing selection.....one thing that always amazes me, is that Bob knows me by name even though I only go once or twice a year....NOW THAT'S GREAT BUSINESS.

Used to buy online, but had some foot pain so decided to see if he could help. Wow, did he! Knows his stuff and takes the time to help find what's right for me (I have hard orthotics prescribed by my doctor, which makes that even trickier) I've bought shoes there for fast walking, general aerobics (weightlifting / treadmill at St Mary) and most recently Merrill waterproof shoes for hiking through Tyler. Prices seem comparable to Zappo's, and the service is incomparable!

This is a real gem of a store. Extremely well stocked. The owner has 40 years of knowledge and extremely helpful. None better. Great running gear and even a great selection of walking shoes as well!

Great local business. The owner Bob, has about 40 years experience, if that isn't an expert i don't know what is. You can't get that at a big box store. He has the latest products and a nice store.
