Farmington Animal Hospital

I can’t say enough good things about this veterinary practice. My sweet, anxious boy Banner started seeing Dr. Barnes and her fabulous vet techs a few months ago. He had previously seen vets that required him to be muzzled and practically sedated prior to coming in for an exam or test. These days, thanks to the kind, caring patience and compassion from Dr. Bates and her staff, my boy can go to a vet who he is no longer afraid of. Fear free practice is no joke! You will not regret taking your fur baby here, just ask Banner 🐾

Farmington Animal Hospital is a great clinic to bring your pets too. Their fear free practice is quite amazing and effective. My cats are very skittish and Dr. Dan has a way with them that makes them calm and relaxed. I would highly recommend anyone bringing their fur babies to the Farmington Animal Hospital.

My sweet cat, who is a rescue from St Thomas, needed to have oral surgery. Needless to say I was very concerned as the surgery requires anesthesia in addition to the tooth extraction itself. It was my first experience with a pet having surgery of any kind. Everything went well and my cat didn’t exhibit any issues after surgery. I was very relieved and so happy we were at Farmington Animal Hospital. They were fantastic.

Dr. Dan is the BEST vet. He is so patient and so knowledgeable. It's hard to be at the vet for things like surgery and health issues for your best furry friend and I am so glad we chose this vet. I moved out of state and miss my vet. Lol.

They are lovely with our cat Gus and treat him and us very well! I have an anxious disposition and they always let me call and ask questions and respond with kindness. Gus loves them too (: their back rooms have a view of some birdfeeders too which seemed like a 10/5 star rating to Gus.

Dr. Dan and his staff are simply amazing! 10/10 would highly recommend this vet for your furry child! We brought our baby girl Daisy when we just bought her and we love it! She just got home from getting spayed and they were so informative and caring to her during this weird time for her!

The whole staff is very nice and caring. The clinic and kennel is really clean and very well mantained. Dogs have a sixth sense on who they can trust or are willing to be around. This is the first Vet. Clinic where I didn't have to drag my dog in, she loves this place!!! If I drive by without stopping so she can say hi she starts howling in the car. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of great Vets. out there, but this is the one Apache picked!!

I can’t say enough about Dr. Dan! My dog is very anxious and a handful with appointments and him and his staff are just so incredibly patient and accommodating. I can’t recommend them enough!

The BEST VET in the area! Dr. Dan and his team have gone above and beyond in caring for my dog. I have never felt rushed and always feel like they listen to my concerns. They have also gone above and beyond when my dog needed emergency surgery. I am grateful to this wonderful team!

Great customer service and personalized treatment. Dr. Dan always worries about the well-being of my dog, ask me if I have any questions and is very straight forward when needs to do it. The staff is awesome. They treat my dog as their own with respect and love. My dog loves to go to this wonderful Animal Hospital.

I can’t believe how awesome Dr Dan is! We have had such a hard time finding a good vet that will help us with our dog (she has severe anxiety). He listened to us in a way we haven’t been listened to, and he is so sweet with our puppers. We are going to go here forever! He might be the best vet we have ever had.

Dan and his Staff are the Best! I would not have anyone else taking care of my dogs. Dan is an amazing Vet and Surgeon. His staff are highly trained to do as he needs and works well as a team.. These traits help you receive loving care for your pet, and comprehensive explanation and follow up for the owner. Doesn't get any better.

Dr.Dan was great and extremely compassionate when we had to make the decision to euthanize our dog. He took the care and time to explain our options. Everyone at this office is excellent and they love animals. We boarded a lot and they always took good care of our dog. I highly recommend them.

I’ve been to going to Farmington vet for years, Dr. Dan took over a few years ago and he is by far the best vet I’ve ever gone to. I have a dog that has severe anxiety with men, but apparently not around Dr. Dan. Dr. Dan is extremely knowledgeable, kind, responsive (always calls back if I have a question), and just all around awesome with all my dogs. The vet techs are all top notch as well, I love Sammantha and Melissa who I have known for years and they are the absolute best.

Dr. Dan and his team are amazing! They provide high quality care, are thorough and knowledgable, and are very reasonably priced. They are also a fear free clinic, and work to make the experience as enjoyable for your pet as possible. The staff are responsive via phone and email. I would not want to take my dog anywhere else.

Naomi and Samantha are really compassionate, nice and very caring.They could not have been more understanding and rescued us when we most needed help for our beloved dog Tessie. Dr Dan took such great care and was so careful to make sure Tessie was comforted while he proceeded to examine her and do necessary tests communicating with us about each finding, (via phone as we waited out in the car due to COVID-19). We highly recommend this wonderful team. We will not go anywhere else!

This is now officially my go to vet for my fur babies. The staff is amazing, friendly, courteous and so so caring!!!!! They're very reasonably priced too.

I had gone into another vet for an emergency situation and they sort of pushed me away with my kitten nearing death. I called my local vet and they said they had a vet who opened up their own practice in Farmington. When I called them they were so attentive to me and knew my kitten needed medical attention right away. It felt they didn't care about getting paid but cared and worried more about saving my fur baby. They opted for the best type of solution considering my kittens age and size. They spoke to me about everything. Gave me best solutions for after surgery as well. They definitely communicated with me throughout.

I then chose them again for them to sterilize my two kittens. They were readily available for any questions I had. They took their time to answer my questions and concerns. My kittens were literally bouncing back to normal a few days later.

I highly recommend them!!!! Great staff. Great team. Great vet all around. I hope they've been awarded for the best vet around!!!! I love you guys. Thank you for being so wonderful not only to me but to my babies.

My dog wasn’t feeling well. All other vets I called had an attitude problem and didn’t even try in the least to help me. I have to say they really did care that my dog wasn’t feeling good and didn’t sleep all night. Stayed in communication with me while they looked at Sasha. Fit her in there schedule which I am beyond appreciative. Everyone has been so nice and helpful. I’m so happy I found this vet! Dr. Dan and staff thank you truly!

Dr. Dan took over the care of my 5 animal companions when I became dissatisfied with my previous veterinary practice. He essentially saved my kitty's life with his analytical approach which being conscious of my budget. His fear-free zone was a new experience for me; I had never even heard of this before. My animals are so much more relaxed when they are there and the way Dr. Dan and his staff care for my animals is incredible! If anybody is looking for a veterinary practice who puts the ANIMALS and their guardians first in an incredibly serene atmosphere, I highly recommend Farmington Animal Hospital!
