UnityPoint Clinic Family Medicine - Merle Hay

Great staff!! Check in staff and nurse were great! We saw Keilin Isaacson, MSN, ARNP, FNP-BC, FNP-C and they are a treasure. Personable, smart, great listener, and treated us like family.

The staff here on a Sunday afternoon were incredible. They were swamped but you never would know it by how they interact with you. Front desk young lady was super nice and got asked “when am I next” a hundred times and kept a bright smile. Nurse Melisa was excellent. Dr. Andrews was hilarious and he was super great with kids. Nurse Dallas even got me a glass of water while I was waiting!

We just had a great experience at UnityPoint Merle Hay. Our daughter was having chest pains so our pediatrician told us to go to urgent care (in case she needed an x-ray). The receptionist was polite and helpful and we were able to make a reservation over the phone, so little wait time when we arrived. When we got there, we got right in, covid measures in place and receptionist and nurse were friendly. We had Dr Andrews and he was truly amazing. Thorough, fast and extremely kind and comforting to my daughter. Also, he was hilarious and really set us both at ease. (When we left, she asked if he could be her primary caregiver.) I've had to come to this clinic for my own urgent care needs, but never had to take one of my kids there. I've never had a bad experience, but this trip was exceptional.

This is the second UnityPoint express/urgent care I have been to, and they both have exceeded my expectations and been wonderful. The staff is so nice and accommodating, and they truly go above and beyond. The Nurse Practitioner I saw (I believe it was Melissa?) was very polite, professional, kind, and did everything she could to get me the best and most convenient care. Urgent care clinics!

Wow I love this Unitypoint clinic. My doctor really seems to care about my physical health but mental health is just as important. Her nurse and her care team took really good care of me. i felt welcome here and I'll for sure go back. My doctor's nurse asked about my depression which really felt nice to know someone at least cares.

Great staff. Saw Dr. Andrew's. Very energetic and nice guy. Went to the walk-in Clinic around 8am and it was pretty much 30 minutes in and out. Happy with the quickness, last time I had to get a covid test (at a different clinic) I had to sit in my car for 3 hours.

The staff was wonderful start to finish. I was in and out in about 30 minutes with having to wait for an x-ray. The only suggestion I could have made is they could see I was limping and I don't know if they can even offer me anything like a wheel chair or something so I wouldn't have to walk but that may not even be possible so no big deal. Everyone was friendly and personable. 5/5 no doubt in my mind.

Urgent care had a bit of a wait, but the entire staff was pleasant, caring, actually listened to me, and I never felt rushed!
This was my first urgent care clinic visit at the Merle Hay location, and one of the best walk in experiences I've ever had. Unfortunately I've had several.

I have been extremely pleased with the care I receive here. From the staff up front. Dr. Andrew's, Dr Rosie, Nurse Ebony. Especially PA Nick is the most genuine person I've ever had the pleasure of being seen by. Explains things so you can understand. Truly expresses empathy and cares for your well being. Everyone I saw was so kind and helpful. Both the nurse and the doctor were nice, helpful, down to earth and kept my spirits up despite my symptoms! The front desk let me use the phone because my died. And it took a couple tries to get ahold of who I needed to and they had to help other people in between but didn't forget me and called me up to try again. Very impressed! I took my 17 year old son in today because he has a very infected ingrown toenail, Scott the receptionist was awesome, he got me signed fast, we were there early, and asked if I knew that!! I knew if we left he wouldn't go back. So we waited for and hour!! Now the PA was just as awesome I let them know ahead of time he has autism, and his blood pressure jumps sky high!! Laura Cunningham has my son so relaxed he was joking with her. She high fives him and talked to him normal, she talked to him as an adult and he liked that!! We has a family switched from Mercy, and I'm glad we did. My son and I will be going to this location and my husband is going to lakeside location. Thank-you Scott and Laura for a job well done

Had an incident with a pressure washer over the weekend that i waited till today to get it checked out. Saw the forever friendly Dr. Andrews, as always he was polite and professional and very well versed in the arts of medicine.

Ill admit i showed up 10 minutes before close and in spite of that the entire staff was friendly and accommodating.

A shout out to my regular Dr. as well Megan Bradley, your consistent professionalism amd genuine concern for my general well being have always left the best impression on my family and i.
When it comes to people looking for doctors my clear recommendation is ALWAYS unity point on merle hay!

Took my son in for what turned out to be nursemaid elbow and Dr. Andrews was very prompt, knowledgeable & helpful. Luckily there wasn’t much of a wait tonight. This is our go-to for after office hours & we are overall pleased with the staff and doctors.

This afternoon our son MJ was running at nanas House and fell hit two falls really hard. He ended up opening up his head good so Dad and I loaded him up and rushed him here. We were in panic forgot the card but they, kept us calm while grandma was racing with the card they found his name in unity point computers and rushed him back. The front desk kept not just us calm but my little guy. The nurse was so kind and gentle cleaning him up. Dr. Andrew came in was at his level and really talked to him he ended up needing staples. He was telling jokes about his scare he got as a kid. He got our son laughing and even after staples talked with him to help him get passed the pain. We go back in a week hopefully they can come out by then.

Easy check in, Nurse Christie was kind and personable and Dr.s Kelly and Andrews were informative and made me feel very comfortable. I rarely have a bad experience with Unity Point and today's visit just knocked their rank up even higher.

We love this clinic! This is where we always take our 3 kids if they get sick and their regular Drs office is closed. Always super friendly, clean, and kind. Wait times can be kinda long, but that's expected at a walk in clinic.

My son gashed his head open at daycare and the staff made sure he was completely comfortable. The Dr. was very nice and stapled it right away with no issues at all. They were all so caring and compassionate.

Urgent care: Ask for Np. Jessica Currie if you can wait for her. She is the bomb.com. 10/10 experience from the time I walked in and got out. Fast medication transfers as well. You don't get that very often!!!!
Unity point > mercy clinics

I have been seeing Dr. Bebensee and others at this clinic for over 25 years. They have seen me through cancer, diabetes, a broken sternum and any other things that have come up. They are phenomenol and have always taken excellent care of me and my now grown children.

I love this urgent care. The staff are nice and they're always upfront if it's going to be a bit of a wait. I rather drive 25 mins to this urgent care than all the others that are 5-10 mins away.
