HIlton Garden Inn Omaha East/Council Bluffs

TL;DR--Big rooms, GREAT for business, very good deal for the room, with a few small details that could be better

Came for Berkshire meeting, good deals, and Horseshoe access.

Rooms** Huge, comfortable, clean. Good nightstands with modern charging ports. Iron & board in room, with many shelves/drawers and strong fridge (freezing ok!). Work desk huge with easy outlet access and facing TV. Comfortable swivel chair. Wifi a little slow at peak hours but acceptable. Confusing Hamilton Beach (?) coffee maker but good Keurig ones. Digital key and traditional card both work
Facilities** huge and modern lobby with printer & PCs, well-equipped gym with weights and cardio, small indoor pool, indoor walkway straight to Horseshoe’s west entrance
Parking** tough on weekends due to distance to Horseshoe, but guaranteed free parking within walking distance
Business** lobby printer available, but you need to email front desk if printing your own files. Good working spaces in room and in dining area of lobby. Wifi signal good but could be faster

Service** GREAT. Front desk very flexible at handling special requests. Fastest in-person check-in I’ve ever experienced in my life at this hotel, so look forward to it if you run into the same guy there. The team check up on you daily for any issues and can promptly address requests. Breakfast staff nice too.

Food** Decent free coffee when I was there. Well-stocked convenience area. Breakfast buffet is good quality (eggs & sausage + dairy + continental + fruit) but a tad expensive for the area. Gold Honors only covers a limited menu. Not quite Boston’s level of gouging but wish they were a bit lower. Pantry has good snacks as an alternative. A few local and chain restaurants within 5 minutes drive. You can pay with Caesars RC (Rewards Credits) as well

Location** I-80 easy access, easy 10 minutes from downtown Omaha without traffic, gas stations within 1 minute, restaurants & Walmart & other shops within 5 minutes

This was a surprise trip for my sister's retirement. It was a wonderful stay with one exception, the breakfast area was not up to Hilton standards. The front desk had to take my order & the order was not cooked as I ordered it. When the breakfast area person did appear, they were on their phone texting & never acknowledged anyone. Did not ruin the trip, I just made other arrangements for breakfast. Across the street was a great breakfast nook!!
Front desk employees were top notch!! I'll be sure to stay here when I come back. I gave 5 stars because everyone except the breakfast area workers was super!

Visited the Hilton Garden Inn for a convention, and I was overjoyed. Service was great, rooms were clean and well-stocked, and the location was convenient. Would visit again in a heartbeat!

Good quality economical hotel. Rooms are large and clean, and the staff is friendly. They’re attached to the Horseshoe Casino, if you’re into that.

I was very pleased with my recent stay here. The room and lobby were both very clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The room curtains when closed blacked out the whole room which is something I always look for. The temperature and pressure in the shower was great. Finally as an added touch the little mini mart downstairs was a lot cheaper than typical hotel mini marts. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel. Lots of people due to Horseshoe Casino right next door. So it was a bit congested in the parking lot.

Excellent facilities that offer the private escape of a Hilton Family Hotel, loaded with amenities like the Horshoe Casino, a 24 hour sandwich shop and even a Bass Pro Shop all within a short walking distance. The staff were amazing and ensured every need was met. The room and facilities were spotless and offered all the necessary added options for a short or long stay. The breakfast was amazing with both made-to-order omelettes and a line consisting of a vast array of breakfast foods to ensure you get your fill for the day. The pool was nice in that it had a nice gradual slope to the deep end, allowing my 4 y/o to really build her confidence in the water while also allowing us a little more freedom to relax at the edge of the pool while keeping an eye out. One last point would be that, despite a massive wedding party that was being held at the hotel concurrently with our stay, there was very little, if any, interference with the regular guests and the party was kept at a respectful time through the night.

We booked a room at the Hilton Garden Inn after our original lodging at an airbnb was found to be a disaster. The room we originally reserved online was to have a fold out bed in addition to a queen size bed. The room we were given when we arrived to check in only had a queen size bed. The hotel was completely booked for the night, but the staff was very friendly, efficient, and accommodating. We were given extra bedding for our son to make a Fort on the floor, which he loved. As we checked in we noticed that the place was full of teenagers who were there for a sporting event. We began to wonder if they would be disruptive, but we never heard a sound once we closed the door to our room. The Hilton was exactly what we needed, a clean, quiet, comfortable place to rest after a long day at the zoo for a family weekend trip.

Clean, good staff and great rooms. Beds and linens were on point as was the shower pressure and air conditioning. Being next to the casino is a plus. I didn’t notice any carry over smoke from the casino which was huge!

This hotel is absolutely wonderful!! A large group of us stayed there this past weekend for the NJCAA national wrestling tournament. The staff was amazingly and did everything they could to accommodate the wrestlers and fans. Our stay was truly memorable. Their service went above and beyond. Thank you so much Tonia and staff!

Went for a professional event and was very impressed by the lobby. It was clean and spacious. The person working the front was neat and very polite. Personable. The food was tasty and hot. There was plenty of drinks available and they were cold.

Rooms were clean along with a contemporary design. Conveniently located to downtown Omaha and nearby restaurants. The staff were absolutely fabulous! Very accommodating and helpful to our group. Would definitely stay here when not working.

Excellent Hotel! Very clean and spacious! Breakfast was also very good!

Rooms were amazing. Ac goes down to 60 degrees which is amazing cuz I like a cold room when I sleep. The shower was cool looking all glass and good water pressure. The staff was all friendly. Worth the stay.

Attended a concert at the Mid America Center. Hotel was perfect location to save us from driving and parking. Also enjoyed that it was attached to the casino. Parking was tight at night due to increased vehicles from a holiday party and the casino but we were still able to park. Overall a positive experience and a nice hotel.

Very nice hotel, got a great price so we expected something old and rundown. Quite the contrary, everything seemed to be new and clean, and the staff was very polite and helpful. Attached to the horseshoe casino, which was smokey and the machines were very tight.

We spent about 4 days here and this is what I have to say:
Great service. The people at the front desk were so helpful. Special shout out to Heather, Katie and Trandez at the front desk. You rock! Heather was so nice she answered all my questions and had so much patience with me when I got lost and asked her about 3 times where a subway was lol. Trandez has one of those affectious attitudes that just make you want to smile all day long. When I had all my children here he was our life saver bringing everything we needed to the room so I didn't have to trot 4 kids up and down after we went swimming . The manager, I wish I got her name, was kind enough to let my kids do chalk on the sidewalk . This place is very kid friendly . The staff is so upbeat and always smiling! I never saw an upset employee during our whole stay.
The swimming pool was clean which I was very impressed with. Me and kids went swimming almost every day we never had any issues .
On our last day me and the baby (22 months old) went solo to eat breakfast and the food was great. The lady that helped us, Kristi, was so sweet. If you go into their dining ask for Kristi she will definitely take care of you and keep checking up on you . If we ever come back to Iowa or Nebraska we will definitely be staying here again. Great location, 5 star service, well appointed rooms. I'm certain they get a ton of zoo visitors here due to proximity, and they were extremely accomodating to us and our 5 year old. Breakfast staff were so nice and was worth the extra fee for breakfast. Parking is a little awkward on a weekend but we made it work.

3rd time staying here. Have had great customer service each time. Even got upgraded to a jacuzzi suite for free this time. If you like to gamble, the hotel is literally attached to the Horseshoe Casino.

The hotel was great. Everything about it. Bar. Breakfast. Rooms are accommodating in size and amenities. Shuttle service was great. Front desk associates were awesome.
