Valley View Veterinary Clinic

Last week our dog Beau's belly became distended. We immediately took him to vet. Xrays, ultrasound, bloodwork and a cytology in the works. Today we drained off at least 14 lbs of kile from Beau's abdomen. I had never seen such a thing. I want to thank Dr Barbara Lee and some special techs for making a difficult time and process a little easier to understand and move forward with some hope. Need prayers from here. 🙏 Beau will sleep so much better tonight.

I just switched from a different clinic to here at Valley View and I have to say it was the most wonderful experience. The staff is super nice as is Dr. Lee. I have an Australian Shepherd and he's a very anxious dog. At the other clinic he was always nipping so they would take him to the back to do his stuff to where I would hear him scream, they would also muzzle him. With Dr. Lee we didn't have to do any of that. They distracted him with lots of treats to do the shots and we didn't have to muzzle him. Dr. Lee takes her time to make my dog feel more comfortable and it was also cheaper than going to the other clinic for his yearly visit. I would 100% recommend Valley View Vet.

Dr. Hilderbrand spent considerable time with us as 1st time pet owners when we brought in our 4 month old kitty. She was patient in educating us and cared a great deal for Comet. I highly recommend this veterinarian and their staff. Very clean facility with separate cat/dog entrances!

I can’t remember who I talked to when I called, but she was really nice and professional and answered all my questions I asked when setting up an appointment for my sweet kitty I am looking forward for the appointment and meeting the staff.

Very friendly and attentive. Wait is never too long. Kind and compassionate staff. Able to get my puppies in quickly if the need arises.

This vet clinic is always helpful. They are very busy but the staff is on top of things and keeps things running smoothly.

I have had all of my cherished pets seen by Dr. Lee for over 30 years. No one will give you more of best practice medicine and her time and her heart. She loves every animal she sees. We are also personal friends and I see her leave many, many personal events to care for so many of these animals. She also cares for other less fortunate animals in the community who have no home and nurtures students who want to learn in her field. She is not afraid to tell you what she doesn't know and make a referral and to learn herself. She also works to keep her costs reasonable (check around - it's true!) It's not surprising it takes time. Everyone wants to see her. No one wants to wait! She tries hard not to turn people away and has been known to make house calls! So. Sometimes we wait and it's always been worth it! There are no better veterinarians than Dr. Lee and Dr. Strohbehn.

WOW 5 star vet clinic that truly cares for their clients 4 legged and 2 legged 🥰 you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. They really value what you have to say about your pets. They saved my kitties life little Ben Nelson is now fat and happy 🐱 I would recommend Valley View Veterinary Clinic to every animal owner on this planet 😍😍

Have been taking my pets to Dr. Lee, Dr. Jody and staff for more than 17 years and had nothing but excellent care in all that time. Dr. Lee has always made sure to get back to me, even if it has been at 10pm after late night surgeries. She has helped me through complex diagnosis and in dificult end of life care. I totally trust all the vets there and love all the long term staff that have taken care of all of my pets over the years.

One of the Best Veterans in Council Bluffs. Their new facility is super nice and pet friendly. The staff has always been nice and polite.

I came home from work to a dog with cuts and puncture wounds. I was new in Council Bluffs and it was the very end of the day. The staff at Valley View got my dog right in. Dr. Strohbehn took care of Levi and explained everything well. I was very grateful that they were able to treat my dog and were kind and gracious. Dr Lee also took the time to introduce herself and chat. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a very good experience for first visit!

Love the new clinic and everything it offers! I appreciate the appointment times as it doesn’t make for a long wait in the waiting area. Drs. Hilderbrand and Lee have treated our 3 pups with the best care and compassion. Staff are always friendly. Highly recommend this clinic!

Dr. Lee is an amazing vet who truly cares about your pet. She helped nurse my kitty back to health after finding out she was in kidney failure. There are very few people that I would trust with our numerous pets, and Dr. Lee and her staff are in that group. They've been with us through thick and thin - from cancer treatment to puppy delivery via C-section to routine checkups, and through it all have been caring and responsive. We don't know what we'd do without them!
