Red Roof Inn & Suites Omaha - Council Bluffs, IA

Our stay was very good! We did have a small problem at check in, but the General Manager went out of her way to surprise us with an upgrade and it ended up being amazing. We were really thankful. The rooms were clean, fresh, tidy, HUGE and comfortable. The cleaning staff was even super friendly and took the time to show us around our room. The themed rooms are great too and an unique addition. We will stay here again if ever here again. Good location as well, lots of restaurants and stores. Plus, they are close to the zoo and downtown.

So far, my stay here has been pleasant. I don’t like the fact that I have to stay here because I have nowhere else to go but I am praying that will change soon. Was just evicted by the Homesteads group. Very traumatic experience, I can see if you’re being an uncooperative tenant. I can see them, then dumping all of your stuff all over the yard but as long as you’re being cooperative, I see no point to that or throwing belongings, not only your blinds, but your sons blinds as well in two bags that also have trash in them and soap, pretty much whatever else could possibly leak.. but anyway, I also like the fact that if you are a member of their red roof, perk thing, that you earn points, and can get money off for the room you are staying in. And definitely the BEST part is they let you have two pets with you for FREE.

We really like it here. Very nice people at the front desk, breakfast has been good. Beds are comfortable. Nice pool. And the best thing about this place is ALL ANIMALS STAY FOR FREE!!!

Room was clean .could use a little more time in the room for cleaning like walls pics. Drapes , etc...

Last minute stay on a Friday night. We stayed 2 days. 254.00 overpriced room tiny bathroom but clean room.
Ladies at the desk were friendly and got me a room quickly.
Breakfast was okay. The poor guy doing breakfast couldn't keep up with everything running out. The line for the waffle maker was long and people made 2 or 3 at a time. The mix ran out fast.. Y'all could definitely use a second waffle maker!!
Then the apple juice ran out and the bananas were gone and then the syrup was empty. Then the trash was overflowing. Then the milk was gone. The biscuits were hard and the gravy did not taste good. All the tables were dirty and floor was sticking from people spilling stuff.
Y'all can add a second person in that breakfast room especially on Saturday and Sunday to make it better. I seen lots of dogs and even a cat so that's cool y'all allow animals. I did not use the pool but wish y'all had a hot tub. Or rooms with hot tub in them.
Parking kinda sucks but you can always park across the street and walk over if you dont want your nice car door dinged or back into.

Nice updated hotel, pool was nice (could be heated more) But still nice. Updated rooms and clean, nice breakfast area and breakfast. Walmart walking distance. Just clean nice hotel in general. And take dogs.

States at red roof inn and both times in the same room had ants in the room and had to shack off my clothes. I had videos and asked the front desk to come look but they did not he said he would send someone down but never so i showed him the video. Not only that I got called a liar pretty much about the ants which I had proof of both times cause quote on quote the GM sent someone down and they never found nothing. I havent had any problems with any other rooms but this one!! And on top of that there was garbage under the pull put couch

Great stay. Check in was quick and pleasant. Lobby and rooms were clean and smelled great. Beds We're not the most comfortable for us. They were extra firm but that's more of a preference. Breakfast was fine. Biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereals and breads. More than enough.

We were in need of a room quick like. We had decided to stay a couple of extra nights in town and it was 3pm on a Friday. They fit us right in. This is the second time that they have taken care of us on a moments notice. The rooms are a little small but they make up for it by being one of the cleanest hotels i been in for a while. Staff is always friendly and its in the shopping area of town. Highly recommend.

Room was clean and well prepared. I enjoyed the actual soap dispensers instead of bars. The most impressive point was the customer care from Dakota. The lobby was pretty busy compared to my usual hotel check ins however Dakota made sure everyone was taken care of in a timely manner and did so with great professionalism!

Wonderful quiet experience and so nice our service dog could stay & help us.
The juice ran out at breakfast but we had fruit and lots of other choices..only eggs would have been nice. Thank you for being so friendly and helpful.

I stay at the red roof inn in council bluffs quite often for work. The rooms are cozy and always clean everyday. Rates are very reasonable, with a great selection of rooms. Dakota at the front desk checks me in often. She’s always very sweet, smiling, fast, and does what she can to make your stay better. Her service makes you feel good about staying here.

Comfy and friendly. I was able to check in a little early after coming through and exhausted and explained my situation. Very thankful. Good location that's near stores if you need extra things. The rooms were fantastic with a separate freezer for the fridge.

Earlier in the week, my car broke down on the way onto the expressway on I-29; after waiting for a tow for the second time in as many days I got a room here. The staff was fabulous; and very kind and understanding. Their hot breakfast was a god-send to help keep my budget padded out to return home.

If you ever find yourself in need of lodging in Council Bluffs, I'd recommend the folks here first.

I was hesitant to book a room here after reading some of the reviews but I’m so glad I did. The front desk was so polite and even ran to make sure the room we booked was clean. Another customer was irritated that he wasn’t at the desk while he was doing that but he handled the situation very professionally. The room was clean, the jacuzzi was a bit worn but very clean, and the bed was comfortable. I checked for bed bugs and found no signs of them or any other bugs. The pool area was good, it could be a little warmer in there, and breakfast was good. Ultimately I was very pleasantly surprised and thought it was a great deal for the price.

While my truck was being fixed at Freightliner I stayed here overnight. I got the super king suite which is a nice big clean room with everything you need. There is a refrigerator microwave and coffee maker so you are set when it comes to food and caffeine. The bed was comfortable and very clean. Lots of cable channels to choose from. And pets are allowed for free!! I spent $87.00 for the night and got a very clean very spacious very comfortable room. Also should mention the location was perfect. You are within walking distance to tons of things from restaurants, fast-food,home Depot, Walmart,hair salons cell phone company just about everything.
Would recommend this location to anyone looking for a clean comfortable room that won't break your bank account.

Great experience. Room had plenty of space for the kids. We walked into a clean & tidy room. The kids left it as a mild mess. Bathroom was a bit small. The breakfast being offered was a high carbohydrate blend of biscuits, cereals, and fresh waffles. Keep that in mind if you are on a specific diet.

I was traveling cross country with a friend and decided to stay in Omaha for the night. Carrie checked myself and friend in. I mentioned my friend was a loud sleeper. She put us in a suit, I was unaware Red Roof even had these rooms available. I was finally able to get a good night's sleep. Thanks Carrie!!! We were so comfortable we stayed another night. Convenient location, safe and sound. Will stay here again when passing through.

Great staff. Hotel is super clean.

It is right off I 80 so it conveniently located around Home Depot, Menards, Cracker barrel so if shopping is what you want to do, this is the place for you. The hotel was clean and spacious. Finally the amenities are up and running. The pool and spa was open as well as morning breakfast. The room was spacious and clean. It had a nice desk area and chair if you need to do figures after all that shopping.
