Lewis and Clark Park

I can see my house from here! Probably. If I had binoculars. You can watch planes land and take off from the airport, and see the whole Omaha skyline. It’s a really nice place to sit and enjoy the view! If you’re brave, there’s some steep mountain bike trails. There’s public restrooms and a parking lot right at the lookout.

While attending our daughter's dance competition in Bellevue, we made a quick trip to the Lewis and Clark Monument. We walked a short distance on the trail before turning back due to not being properly dressed. The views along the way were breathtaking, and we can't wait to return to complete the trail!

Everyone knows "Omaha's" best mountain bike trail is in Iowa! With progressive dedicated jump lines, a physically challenging XC loop, huge drops and a few downhill lines that range from blue to double black, this is THE place to ride if you want to push your progression to its limits! 🤘

A perfect place to watch sunset from this super cool site,it s not a big place. There are trails to hike, walk.

Beautiful park, the views were spectacular!

Great place to visit and get a sense of what this land was like before the European people cut all the trees down. Found it by accident. Would have liked to have been a part of that great adventure! Nice small trail to walk.

Great walking trails on one side and mountain biking trails on the other side of the park. It has a great view with seating/viewing area that overlooked big lake .

Small park. Awesome view. Plane watch, or just enjoy the view. Plenty of seating, and go explore the trails. Sunset is best time of day.

Great mountain biking meant for more experienced riders. Fairly long trail with a lot of elevation changes with a good bit of steep trails we had to push our bike up. Great trail with lots of drops my son loved. Probably took us three hours with some play stops for jumping. There really isn’t a way to cut it short in the middle so plan your adventure accordingly. Highly recommended trail.

Somewhat hard to find the entrance to the trail, it is right off the main road inside the gate. Have fin!

Great Spot for a history buffs and hikers alike! Apparently a great spot for mountain bikers. I don't ride but I see a lot of mountain bike enthusiasts loading and unloading there bikes.

This place is so beautiful and peaceful when your on the platform up top in one of the pictures you can see downtown Omaha Nebraska and the airport and it has some trails to walk on.

Great view. Scenery of the park is detailed. Definitely recommend to everyone. Can see planes land at the airport, the interstate, wildlife.

Very nice mtb trails. Like that around every corner is a nice feature. I like all the different levels of drops. Someday, I'll hit them all. But even without doing any drops, the rides are very fun. Definitely harder on analog bikes. You'll get more distance and laps in with an ebike, though. My favorite is the Gulley DH. I would ride this every day if I didn't live 2.5 hours away.
