Went here for a sweet treat on my birthday, absolutely loved the coconut oat bar!! We also got a chocolate croissant and it was very yum. The service great and there were lots of kind, social people inside the shop - will be returning!

Recommended by the front desk at my nearby hotel. They have wonderful house-made pastries and a good looking hand-crafted coffee. It’s been my daily stop since I’ve been in town. I will miss it when I leave. Don’t miss it while you’re here!

As a former professional croissant maker, I can’t recommend these pastries enough. Bought the cheese quiche, cherry pinwheel, and turkey & pepperjack croissant and everything was phenomenal. Wish I lived nearby so I could frequent here more.

I've been here a handful of times over the course of 2 years. Service is always quick and friendly. They even entertain some of my long-winded questions with patience. I especially love their bialys and sandwiches. Coffee is also always good but my go-to is their seasonal iced teas! Great place to meet with friends for a quick lunch! Even at their busiest hour.

This place reminded me of my favorite place in KC! Baristas were so nice and made high quality coffee. My espresso was smooth with a nice crema on the top and it tasted sweeter not more bitter as it cooled down (exactly as it should if it's good espresso). And the croissants were SO flaky on the outside and th inside was soft layers. Simply put Scenic Route was phenomenal 👏 👌 ☕

Great prices and friendly staff! Latte wasn’t too sweet or bitter. Really cute place with plenty of tables or couches to chat or get work done. Super popular place so it isn’t quiet

What a fun and bustling place. Just had a black coffee but you can get whatever you want. The pastry choices... wholy heck. I was trying to be good and not eat any sweets.
As soon as you walk in you are immediately greeted then "tempted " with a bakery choice. SOLD! I caved 😂 got a delicious Blueberry flakey pastry, I problem could've eaten two of them!
They were busy but still had many places to sit and enjoy everything.

My husband stopped for lunch today and enjoyed our first visit here. The kale salad was delicious and my husband gobbled up his hot ham and cheese sandwich. We shared a rosemary lemonade which was unique and delicious. Loved the bright atmosphere and there was plenty of seating. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Nice selection of baked goods to pair with a morning cup of espresso. They also do lunch sandwiches starting at 11 AM. There plain croissant was solid and will hit the spot if you enjoy a good croissant. I had a cappuccino and that was good too. Prices are good too. It can get busy but the line moves well and there is large amount of seating with WiFi too. And the Pseudo Cheese Steak sandwich is👌.

What a great bakery! One of my favorites. Amazing selection of baked goods, delicious coffee, and well decorated interior.

Interior dining is off limits currently but quite a few outdoor tables were in place. The staff were very friendly.

Their baked goods are incredible. For really really real. Incredible.

After going there for breakfast, I went back for lunch before leaving town. I don’t write gushing reviews, this place is awesome.

Wonderful atmosphere, amazing coffee and pastries (cherry pinwheel was my personal favorite). My daughter really enjoyed turmeric ginger chai latte as well!

Everything about this place was great. I got a blueberry pastry and it just made my day. Everyone was really friendly and I can't wait to go back

Just had my first experience here, and it was divine! Got a seasonal orange cardamom latte as recommended by the very sweet, friendly staff and it was absolutely perfect on a cold day. The decor, the staff, and the products were all exactly what I love about shopping and dining local! I will definitely be returning many times :)

Lovely drinks, lovely food, lovely staff, and lovely atmosphere! What more can be said, I highly recommend anyone in the area to stop on by and grab a drink!!

Yummy food! The cinnamon roll is delicious. I could use more cinnamon (just personal preference) but overall it was great. The frosting... so delicious. The line was quick, assistant polite, and the honey coffee that I ordered hit the spot perfectly. Parking is also very easy.

We were in the area and decided we must make a visit to Scenic Route Bakery! Delicious pastries and fabulous service. Highly recommend.

I would give it 5 stars on food if there were more gluten-free options, especially in the bakery portion. But for non-gluten sensitive people, their baked goods are amazing!! Cinnamon rolls were my favorite when I could eat them. A big thank you to the staff for sharing that even the gluten-free monster cookies are cross-contaminated. All around, great coffee shop.

The Mila latte was delicious - really enjoyed their espresso blend. Good customer service as well!
