We are visiting Des Moines and just wanted to stay in and relax @ the hotel. The reviews for local Chinese restaurants very alot from service to service. The google reviews for here were good so we finally decided to order from here. The price wasn't bad, it was on par for the smaller city near us. The delivery man was very quick, they stayed 35-45 minutes but it ended up being 20-25 minutes. I am use to delivery food being Luke warm and losing its texture, by the time we get it but not tonight. It was hot and couldn't be any fresher. Each dish was delicious (sesame chicken, beef and broccoli, lo mein, crab ragoon and egg rolls). Definitely recommend choosing them for delivery.

I’ve been coming here since 2014. It’s not fine dining, but it’s tasty Chinese food, and abundant fresh ingredients are used. There is no skimping on anything, ever. I lived less than a mile from it when I first started eating here. Now, I live in Clive, about 15 minutes away. I haven’t found a comparable place near me - and I have tried other eat in and take out places a lot closer to me. No comparison - so, I will continue to frequent what me and my wife call Tasty China!

My new go to for local Chinese food! We ordered around dinner time and it took less than 30 minutes to be delivered. The food was piping hot and the delivery driver was very pleasant! The food was amazing and the portions were huge!

Had the Singapour Style Rice Noodles,shrimp fried rice, crab Rangoon and some egg rolls 🤤it was hot flavourful just yummy.. did delivery. it was right before they closed and it was still fresh and good 👍🏾

We love this place so much! The wonton soup, egg rolls, egg foo yung, and Hunan dishes are my favorite. My kids love the sweet and sour chicken and lo mein dishes. Very generous portions, and straightforward professional service. Probably best for carryout but they do have a dine in area.

The food is always fresh, they cook it right in front of you if you order in. The service is ok, polite. The atmosphere is cafeteria style sort of not very appealing.n

Ok I guess this does have dine in seating. Could not believe how many people coming in the door for take out! Food was amazing! Best Chinese I have had in a long time!

Have regularly ordered takeout here for a few years. It has always been excellent.

I've been eating at this place for more than 10 years and I've had consistently received excellently prepared meals. I always eat in the restaurant so I can't comment on the delivery experience except to say when you order food delivered it will never be as good as eating in. I lived in Asia for six years so I'm a discriminating consumer of asian food to say the least. I compare every Chinese dish I order elsewhere to this place and they never measure up. High quality ingredients, friendly and accomodating staff, customized dishes prepared readily. Highly recommend.

This is our go to place for Chinese food. Awesome food and very affordable. I definitely recommend giving them a try.

I love this place!!! My family and I have been going here since was a kid! It's more of a take out or delivery place. Theyre fast with delivery when its not rush hour! You can dine in but they don't have servers, you order up front, you pick up your food and sit down, like a café or fast food restaurants like Culver's, etc. I used to dine in when I was a kid with my family but now I just do delivery.

I have always love there food and there service is great.

I have dined at this restaurant since it was first opened in the original location ( now Casey's)in the 1990s. I have never had a bad experience and the food had always been quality. The kitchen, dinning area, and bathrooms are very clean and the staff is friendly and professional. I have seen reviews about rude behavior people have received while placing orders over the phone and I want to clarify a couple things. The man that takes the orders is almost always answering multiple calls at once and is just trying to get the correct order as fast as possible. You can always hear the other lines ringing in the background when ordering. He also just has a natural tone that people may percieve as rude, but I assure you that he is a VERY nice man! I have watched this restaurant grow in our community from the very begining and I have to say that I am VERY happy it survived the pandemic. The restaurant delivers food over a very large area of the city and has very good deals. A whole family can eat for just over $25. That is hard to come by these days!! I hope this restaurant stays open for many years to come.

I am in from out of town and was looking for something fresh and tasty because I'm sick of fast food. This place was really good and reasonably priced for what you get. The turnaround was quick and the food was fresh and hot. I had the beef with broccoli and an egg roll. I always start at places by ordering the beef w/broccoli because it's either good and I come back or it's nasty and gelatinous and I never return. Theirs was really good! Great flavor and consistency. I'll be back! I need to find out if there is one of these in MN.

Legit best Chinese Food in Des Moines. Been eating here for 17 years and still tastes the same.

These egg rolls are huge and absolutely delicious!! We got general Tsos chicken and it also was delicious! Would definitely recommend to anyone!

I ordered delivery today. It was right at lunchtime and we were ordering for 3 with special changes to the combination plates. I was amazed and so pleased when my order arrived in such a short time and it was still Hot! The food was awesome. Everyone had ordered different things and no complaints! I will be ordering from here again. Try the beef egg foo young. Oh my gosh it is so good.

The dining area is a little too brightly lit & too dingy. The staff could be more engaging but I've eaten here twice & they have done well with egg drop soup, pork fried rice & shrimp egg foo Yung.

I had the combination lo mein. It's so good plenty of chicken and shrimp. Also got the steamed dumplings which were big you get 6.

The restaurant takes safety measures due to covid, which is nice because it shows they care about the well-being of them and their customers. The food is quickly prepped and always ready by the time I arrive. There usually isn’t anyone at the window upon arrival, but there is a sign at the door that states to call them so they can bring your order to you at the door. They even take safety measures when making contact with you, your food, and payment method. I ordered the chicken with broccoli combination platter, my partner ordered the shrimp lo mein, and we also got an order of crab rangoons. I have tried other dishes on the menu as well, but last night’s order was by far the best. Keep it up!
