By far the coolest nicest most calm area in this region I was able to find...my son and I had a great time and it's a great place to chief chief

Loved it here. Beautiful place. Quiet, very clean, remote, family friendly, pet friendly. My daughter loved climbing the tower and being able to see miles of this park! The only comment we had about the water were how many jelly fish there were. Literally loaded! So be careful if you plan on being in the water.

Extensive wildlife and trail area. Roads are rocky gravel. You should have maps on your phone to keep your location straight if you're trail trekking.

Boat launchs available. Porta pottys are available.

Bugs are a given, bring spray. On the major parts of the park, breezes will keep them away, back in the trees or bog areas, ouch.

Parking areas available.

Great fishing areas, make sure you go online to get your DE fishing license first.

We saw a few swans and several different types of ducks. Went mainly to check the area out for future wildlife photography. Early afternoon trip with my young grandsons.

Take your time riding to the end and you'll never know what you may see. I have seen deer, turkeys, turtles, etc. Once you reach the end its a peaceful place to lookout over the water or launch your boat or kayak, or even a nice place to take your dog to play.

A nice place to observe wildlife, namely waterfowl, if you can go on non hunting days.

It's great for relaxing in a nature oriented environment.

This area is full of wildlife and flowers. I enjoy photographing both. I saw several people fishing (catch and release), and there were multiple small boat launch ramps. I spent a few relaxing hours there.

Trails, wildlife, and the awesomeness. Of nature. Saw hunting blinds for deer and duck. Observation tower gives a nice view, but the steps are pretty steep.

This is a beautiful place to kayak and view some wildlife. We have paddled around here several times now. I prefer the calmer waters around Sassafras Landing. We have seen several Bald Eagles there. Strawberry Landing did not seem as good for launching kayaks. Mulberry Landing is nice but the water was a bit choppy for me. We saw quite a few jellyfish, crabs and muscles along the edges.

There is plenty of parking at the launch areas and the picnic tables and shelters are nice. In the past there were port-a-potties to use; but those are not currently in place with Covid19 considerations in place.

Amazing place to go to kayak, walk your dog, crab or just watch the local wildlife....

Quiet, nice place for a hike during the off-season. There are pavilions and an observation tower you can climb for exceptional views. Spotted a number of birds during a mid-day walk. There are multiple boat ramps. A conservation pass is required for entering the wildlife area, and deer and waterfowl hunting are permitted at the site (pass is included with hunting license), so plan accordingly.

Beautiful spot with a nice dock to go crabbing. No there’s not many crabs this year due to shortages but it’s always fun to try

Great wildlife State park, just the drive into the three landings are wonderful with tree lined roads. Gets you back in touch with nature. Two areas have pavilions and docks one for fishing or crabbing the other for launching the boat. The third to launch kayaks. All the marsh birds are there. Bring bug spray for the parking areas.

It is absolutely gorgeous and quiet. Plenty of wide open and space. Amazing place to get in touch with your spiritual side or just to have Steve personal time and just get back to yourself!

Great place as usual but one question always remains the same, "does anyone ever check to see that you have a permit "? Of course not, but they should as it would be a ticket Haven for the DENREC boys and girls. Bird list too long to mention but it's a pretty good guess you will always see mute swans and red headed woodpeckers, and in the fall, every waterfowl species you can think of.
