Frankford Family Diner

Awesome restaurant with a quaint feeling. We stopped in for a quick bite and were very impressed. The place was clean and table well set. The food was very good, and the prices were well priced. Soup was included with the entrées as well, and the portions were big. We ordered cheeseburgers, a turkey club sandwich, and a french dip sandwich. The customer service from the server and cashier was very friendly and professional. We will definitely be coming back here.

Had a burger with crabmeat, chicken orzo soup, fries and I had chicken pot pie, cream of crab soup and we split a large pie of cheesecake with strawberries. Everything was fabulous and very reasonably priced. Will be returning. It's a casual place.very clean and the booths seemed fairly new.

Nice spot, went there for breakfast 3xs, service is good, seated right away. Our first experience was good, the omelette, I had was filled with mushrooms, spinach and onions, they forgot the tomato, but I was half way thru by the time I remembered 😋, my husband had the hash and eggs..he enjoyed. Our second was waffle and pancakes, both were great and filled our hunger. I had 2 egg whites on the side and hubby had eggs and bacon. Our third experience I had the steak and eggs, as you can see the steak and egg whites was huge but delicious and I took half home. The French toast with ham was tasty and also a large portion. This is our new spot for breakfast, haven't tried lunch or dinner yet, but in the future we will.

Stopped on our way to Virginia Beach. We had to do a u-turn to get to the restaurant. The restaurant was crowded but we were greeted and seated immediately. Large menu with breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Ordered the Patty Melt, which included a cup of soup and either fries or a bag of chips. Delicious sandwich and a large portion of fries. Definitely recommend stopping for a good diner meal.

Food was outstanding and our server was absolute perfection.
Great atmosphere and good prices.
Take the time to have a meal here. You won't be disappointed.

It’s been about a year since my last visit since moving away but ALWAYS an AWESOME visit HOMEMADE FOOD!! I’m so glad we got to enjoy FRANKFORD Family Diner again!! 🥰

From the outside you wouldn't think that it was a Good place to eat. But then you pull into the parking lot and find it almost full on a Sunday afternoon. The inside has been tastefully renovated with modern fixtures and wall coverings.
The selections are numerous, 41/2 pages full. You may want to select from the reduced selections. The food was good and filling. The service was fast and attentive.The salad was large, not like other places. And the price was right. I highly recommed that you stop here for a meal when your in the area.

So from the outside this place does not seem like anything beyond your average diner, but once you order, omg. The French onion soup was a great starter, it was as good as my mom's (which is damn good btw). My best friend and I both ordered the prime rib, not really expecting it to be as enormous as it was. She likes hers medium well, I like mine rare, and they were both cooked to our liking. The meat was so flavorful and tender, it was so so good. Like "almost involuntarily moaning while you're eating" good. The broccoli was delicious too, which surprised me because diner broccoli is usually soggy and not very flavorful.

Our waitress also told us that dessert comes with our meal since we got the special, and we both opted for the cheesecake (I got blueberry, she got chocolate). These slices of cheesecake were ENORMOUS. It tasted homemade too. Very very delicious.

Our waitress Heather was so nice too, very attentive and cracked some jokes with us as well.

10/10 definitely recommend. I live an hour and a half from the Frankford Diner and I plan on making a trip out there again soon.

Amazing food, great price would recommend. Amazing strawberry cheesecake. Its a must!

A weekend ago, coming from a camping trip, we were looking for where we can have brunch and stumbled in tbis nice friendly family diner. Food was GREAT especiallh the chunky crab cakes. They are to die for. Yummy!!! I will pass by to grab food at this diner again when i pass by Delaware. broiled stuffed eith crabcake fl8under and tuna salad. Everything broiled was delicious.

The food is great, easy parking, service is quick. After I have dropped my dogs off at the Bed and Biscuit Kennels just down the road and need cheering up, I get comfort food here.

I've driven past the diner many times and never stopped. The wife and I decided it was time to try them out. All I can say is that the food was very good and we will be visiting again.

Going here for years. All is wonderful!

What a delicious breakfast! We won’t need lunch. I had cream chipped beef and my husband got the Sussex Omelette. It looked so good when Dylan put it in front of me, I forgot to take a picture. Dylan kept my coffee filled and hot. Would stop again if in the area.

We have been driving past this place since 2009! I have always wanted to stop but never have. Today was the day and it did not dissapoint.

Everyone was friendly. Service was efficient. Food and coffee were excellent. We will be stopping when we drive through from now on.

The menu was huge but not overwhelming. So many options. Oh and the dessert display was very tempting. A great run establishement.

If I had to give one criticism it would be that the bathroom could have been cleaner. I know I have high standards though. If we lived close we would probably visit every day!

I love local brunch restaurant. Local brunch restaurant serve fresh and tasty food and a server is always friendly. I can’t expect this quality, price and service in NYC.

This place has the most extensive menu I've ever seen. It would take years to try everything, and I would enjoy every bite. Burgers, tacos, breakfast, deserts. Large variety of seafood too.

The BEST food! We stopped after leaving Ocean City... decided to pull in at the spur of the moment and try the diner. What a fantastic choice! Portions were generous, prices reasonable, friendly staff and clean restaurant! So pleased with our meals!

People either seem to love This place or hate this place. Personally I love it. My family loves it and has loved it ever since they opened. waitresses love to interact with you aren't afraid to make jokes are very friendly as are the owners the food is good and to anybody out there who is saying their food was terrible or they had horrible service I'm telling you you had to have been there on a bad day or something. Don't hate after one bad experience. Honestly if this place was really as bad as some of you try to make it out to be it wouldn't still be open. Oh, and homemade deserts made from heaven.

Our server Lisa, was amazing. The service she provided from beginning 2 end was outstanding. She was fast, thorough, witty, and very personable. Definitely a people person. So b sure 2 ask for Lisa when u stop in.
