The Lobster Shanty

The BEST bay side restaurant experience in Fenwick Island! The food was SUPER delicious, my servers served me so well, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the view was beautifully STUNNING! I swear, please don't pass the Lobster Shanty for anything else! I highly guarantee that you will have a relaxing, peaceful, and fun time!

WOW! I am a die-hard Buffalo Chicken wing fan and reluctant to try a new flavor. BUT I DID and so glad because the Garlic Parmesan Chicken wings were cooked to absolute perfection. The crunch of delicious fried chicken with just a hint of garlic and lots of crispy parmesan and juicy on the inside. The oysters were fresh and tasty. Crab Cake platter was not cheap but what is these days? They were nice size and lots of lump crab. Matt, the bartender, was all smiles and very friendly and attentive. Drinks were not a small serving. Nice walk from Madison Avenue. No car needed.

Amazing food, great views, friendly staff and positive low-key vibes all around. They make a mean Bloody Mary with real lobster…an entire claw….it was great. The lobster sandwich was fresh and delicious & came with a pickle + fries. Straight and to the point, no fancy filling - just my kind of meal! They focus on what they do best - lobster. I was actually surprised at how much lobster was in the sandwich and how good it tasted. Not terrible prices either. Man, I miss the Eastern shore.

The service staff was super down to earth and friendly. I came in the off season, so I’m sure the lack of drunken rowdy summertime Marylanders trashing the joint from June-August helped a ton. The sarcastic humor decorating the exterior of the restaurant reflects the charming personalities of the staff too. One of servers caught my eye looking over at a giant moose head on the wall and said “listen to this honey”. She hit a button and the moose head started lip syncing Proud Mary by CCR. …Legend

Honestly, what more could you want out of a lobster shanty at the beach? Good vibes, good food, good drinks. My family and I had a great time.

Amazing!!!! Our food was delicious, cocktails were awesome and our waitress was the bomb! She was on top of it and had us covered! Steak, lobster mac and cheese, stuffed flounder...everything was amazing! The crab dip was to die for! We'll definitely be back next year when we're down for vacation!

Great food! Beautiful views. Lobster roll was wonderful. Shanty salad with shrimp was light and refreshing. Crab dip was great. We liked everything we got and service was good. Felt close to water without being in OC.

Lobster shanty is the best food Ocean City has to offer. The lobster guac is a MUST! Great lobster rolls and you can’t beat the views!

SHOUT-OUT VINNIE!!! Ok where to start; VINNIE was AWESOME A+ 💯 (Server) The food was fabulous, our litmus test is how the asparagus was cooked, perfection!! Everything was just wonderful! Beautiful view of the bay & wonderful drink menu! JUST YESS ALL THE WAY GO!!!!

The lobster, crabmeat and mussels are very refreshing and delicious that my husband ordered the mussels twice. We've been there for lunch, but we know that the view at sunset time would be very gorgeous! They have only one server, maybe because of the holidays, but she's very attentive and helpful.

I went to OCMD in November not expecting all the restaurants to be closed for the season down near the boardwalk. I happened to find this place from a search on Google maps for “lobster roll”. It was a quick drive up coastal highway to Fenwick. I got there almost right at 11:30a so there was almost no one in the restaurant. Hostess and my server were very friendly. The place was cute and the lobster roll was so good!! It was a little cold the day I went otherwise I would have sat outside. I definitely will be back.

Great food and a view. Had to try the lobster rolls and sure glad I did! The only place that I have had lobster this good is in Bar Harbor, Maine. They know what they are doing here. If you were on the fence about stopping in here, don't be anymore. Take my word on this one. Up next is to check out Nantuckets.

Nice spot overlooking the bay. Food was excellent, service and drinks were very good (no draft beer). The outdoors section was very nice and had a cool breeze the afternoon we were there but it was very loud between the music and the talking. Prices were reasonable for lobster.

Wow!!!! Firstly, food was fabulous!!! Crab cakes A+! LOBSTER A+! LOBSTER POT PIE TO DIE FOR!!! Hunter, our server was awesome! Try the desserts!

The staff was very friendly. It was super packed but we didn't have to wait long for anything. The food tasted great. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area again.

Absolutely the best experience for me. Never ate at a seafood restaurant before. This place was very amazing. The food was great and the views were spectacular. Definitely a great place to go.

We ere pleasantly surprise with the bites menu with ever item was at 19.00 we went Sunday, including lobster steak crab cakes etc. We will be returning! Do not hesitate to give them a try 😉 😊

Overall just one amazing restaurant. Easily has the best servers in the area hands down. My family eats out a lot while on vacation and we’ve been coming here for 4 years. Every year the servers continue to be some of the nicest people.

The food is delicious and very unique. They do not go shy with the seafood unlike some other restaurants. Prices are fair, going rate for the area.

I highly recommend this place for people of all ages, there’s something for everyone.

Great dinner! Kyle was very helpful and friendly with our group. The crab cakes were meaty. Fish tacos were excellent and large pieces. Lobster with crab imperial was very, very good as well. Highly recommend.
