Seaside Country Store

The Big Red Barn. An amazing country store in Fenwick Island Delaware that we vist everytime we're at the beach. As soon as you walk through the front door your immediately hit in the face with the smell of fresh fudge, cheese spreads and other homemade foods. If that's not enough to make you venture the rest of the way into the store than maybe the welcoming attitudes of all of the awesome employees will be. Very cool people like Max at the fudge counter who helped us very patiently while we were picking out all of the different kinds of fudge we wanted to try. Also there was Shelby who assisted us at the cheese counter with getting some cheese spreads to take home. Being self proclaimed foodies for our family this place is right up our alley. So many different things to look at, so many different foods to try and buy. It really is "the most unusual store on the shore".

Outstanding store. Has excellent souvenirs and awesome homemade fudge and variable candies all homemade and delicious. Free parking and handicap parking and entrance. Located right off the main highway. Items are very pricey but worth it for the candy but not worth the high prices of souvenirs that you can buy on the beach for half the cost. Enjoyed the antiquity look of the store on the inside and a huge top floor of Christmas ornaments and more.

The store was busy late this morning. They have something to take home to remember the beach from clothing to pictures and art. Great selection of candies prepackaged a d buy by the pound. Fudge is made in the store, they were making some this morning.

A yearly tradition of stopping in here each year I visit the area. It’s a huge, beautiful store filled with anything and everything. One tip: go early in your trip to be able to get some of the wonderful flavored cheese unless you have a way to keep it chilled for your ride home. Can’t wait to stop next year! Bring a quarter for the player piano!

Very very cute place! Being a Texan, this definitely felt cozy and nostalgic. They have everything from local jams, cheeses, sauces, etc, to themed parts of the store, such as Christmas, Halloween, and ocean vibes. Perfect place for a genuine souvenir.

This place is wonderful. So many different shops all tied together. You could spend hours walking through to visit each section. Great place to shop for special gifts. From candy to p.j.s, it's all here.

Going here is a natural part of summer vacation. Staff is always friendly and we love to get snacks to eat while we play games, watch movies, and enjoy Summer. Wide range of jellies, jams, soups, candies, and souvenirs. Fun to go and browse. Note: not open year-round.

First time shopping here. I loved it. Be sure to have Awesome Callvin wait on you. Prices are reasonable and I am sure that you can find something for friends or family members.

There are so many nice gift items. Delicious fudge and cheese spread, with many to sample and buy. Soup and dip packets, bottled sauces also.

Fun store with a variety of items for sale. We go there several times a year as it's perfect place to find a great gift.

Like in every tourist destination this is a classic store of everything + local specialties - prices and quality varies from low to high - something for everybody - it can get really crowed but that goes with tourism - store has couple of registers upstairs where you can check out if they are busy downstairs - every store has their own regulation and their own bosses like we have in our houses and places and we want others obey them, so let go and enjoy ;)

Nice store with a good selection of snacks, mustards, honey, fudge, candy, and chocolates. Upstairs has house decor and Christmas ornaments.

Sooooo cute! They have so much beach and ocean home decor. Also clothes and jewelry. They make candies and fudge in house. It is not cheap but it is worth a look!

Awesome eclectic barn shaped store. Iconic landmark in Fenwick Island. Always have to go at least once when we're up at the shore. Lots of little trinkets, home goods, and locally produced products. Best homemade fudge I've ever had. Don't pass up a chance to try it. I always bring fudge home for myself and my coworkers. Also, really tasty horseradish cheddar cheese dip. The country store has been a staple of our summer vacations for 25+ years and counting

Really busy when we went, but so many cute items! I bought my mom some lighthouse coasters and my kids some books and stuffed animals.
