Great selection of hardware and an amazingly helpful staff.

Wide variety feature some nice luxury brands. Like a jewelry store of hardware. They carry all price points. So nice to see and feel quality differences. Keep stores like this open and don't buy on line.

Great customer service and beautiful selection. Give yourself some time to peruse because the inventory is huge and they have a very wide range of styles! They have some things in stock and others need to be ordered. Tip: bring in the hardware you want to replace. If you are doing doors take measurements! I'd say call ahead so the staff have what they need to best assist without you having to do multiple trips!

Update: I finally got to my project and wanted to update my review. The hardware I got at Mack looks and feels amazing! The photo doesn't do it justice.

We purchased hardware for a front door from Mack several years ago. Mack is a unique small business with an amazing selection I their cool showroom. Recently the rather expensive hardware on the front door failed. When I called to explore purchasing a replacement Ken suggested we take the problem to Baldwin. Baldwin replaced the entire set. This kind of customer service is rare these days. Complements to both Ken at Mack and Baldwin for standing behind there products. Highly recommend local business.

They were recommended by our carpenter/main contractor. We replaced all the door levers, deadbolt, hinges and door stops in our house.
I really appreciated working with Lucy and her colleagues.
a) They’ve a lot of choices, all good quality.
b) Lucy was very transparent about the prices on the 3 quotes we made. We did not find Emtek hardware at a better price, even on any online shopping sites.
c) Lucy really helped us to understand the different options and qualities. Even if we changed our mind 3 times, Lucy was always patient and helpful. Lucy shared the quotes with us, which allowed us to check that we did not forget any anything and to realize that Stainless Steel finish was not available for hinges. We now have the same key for all the 3 entry doors.
d) They have a locker smith service. At delivery, 1 deadbolt was not configured properly by Emtek; they corrected it in 5 minutes.

We highly recommend them for quality of materials, quality of interaction, pricing and range of options.

Mack Designer Hardware has a beautiful showroom with the latest samples from every major door and cabinet hardware manufacturer. Ken the master locksmith turned retailer helped me out with expert advise on all our interior and exterior door hardware needs for our new house. Their pricing was competitive with the online offerings. All and all a great customer service and showroom buying experience.
