Holiday Inn Express Boston North-Woburn, an IHG Hotel

I stayed in this hotel with a big group for 2 nights and we don't have any complaints. I was surprised to read the reviews here about bad service or bad condition. All rooms were absolutely fine, breakfast was good and I am planning to make a new reservation for another group again. Location is perfect!

This place has almost everything- great rooms, great maid service, great front desk reception and a varied selection of foods at the free breakfast, a good shop for other foods/snacks/water, bathtubs that actually work- surprisingly! Showers are excellent, refrigerator is medium-sized, so that your restaurant leftovers plus fruits and beverages actually fit. No microwave! But, you do have your own coffee/tea maker. Most rooms have luggage racks and ironing boards, and the hair dryers all work. Parking is good and the location is excellent because there is so much to do, or buy, nearby.

Traveled with my son for a bucket list trip to Fenway Park and sightseeing. Chose this hotel for convenience, price and hot breakfast. Hotel staff was amazing- super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and it was an easy trip to the T station each day (we are IGH 'members' so lyft to station was free to us, just had to contact front desk), Market Basket across the street and nearby food made life easy in that respect. We stayed 4 nights and had housekeeping come in once. Only inconveniences were an AC that whistled at times, hard to get shower temp not too hot, and the blackout curtain didn't close all the way, it left a small opening but since we mainly wanted to get up and going it really wasn't a problem. Overall we would definitely stay here again!

The staff was excellent to me and my family. The breakfast experience has been better every hotel I have visited this year. The lady who works in the front desk (Tye) has been very accommodating to us. The man who works in the kitchen (Thaylis) has been extraordinary, he brought out everything you need and or want in a breakfast meal. He also brought out more food the instant it ran out. The rooms were clean and spacious. The housekeeping has done an excellent job. Overall this hotel and it's staff have been absolutely exceptional.

The Holiday Inn express at Woburn is a great hotel and what I expect from a Holiday Inn express. A clean room, easy check in and good service. The staff was friendly although I did not spend a lot of time interacting with staff.

Two complaints about the hotel. The room I got, with a double bed, was so small it was claustrophobic. There was no place to put a suitcase and no suitcase stand.

My second complaint is staff knocked on my door at 8:45 AM wanting to clean my room. They need a checkout log to see which rooms are available rather than disturbing guests so early in the morning.

Even though my room was right next to the elevator, something they do when you purchase via a 3rd party website, I did not hear any elevator noise. The rooms were well insulated.

This hotel is very conveniently located across the street from a large shopping center with a lot of shopping and multiple places to eat. And it is within a 100 yds of the freeway exit.

I would definitely stay here again. They do need to tell staff to be more mindful of guests and there

Our stay at this hotel was above and beyond expectations. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast area was clean and the selection was better than average and they even have gluten free muffins! The staff was exceptional. We requested a late check-out because we had an event to attend in the morning. Due to an unforeseen emergency, we returned late but they gave us another room to use to shower and change.

We really enjoy our stay. The rooms are clean, the beds are extremely comfortable and the breakfast was great. It's located across from good restaurants and a pub within walking distance. There is also a restaurant attatched to it. Easy acess so you don't have to leave. The food was great and drinks were tasty and strong. They also have parking on the side if you're traveling with an rv or a trailer.

I've been staying here for a few years, and it's always been a great little hotel. There are several restaurants within walking distance, Dunkin and Popeyes in the same parking lot, and the strip mall across the street has several restaurants and a grocery store.

We arranged for a group stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Woburn and are pleased to report that the group had a seamless experience from start to finish! It was easy working with group sales at the hotel to make the reservation and they responded right away to any requests or questions that we had along the way.

Great place to stay! The room was clean and well equipped. The jacuzzi was nice and the gym was a good addition. Complementary breakfast was an unexpected surprise that I missed when booking. Breakfast is always my favorite part of the hotel and this was one of the best, service was quick and clean and a great assortment of food that never ran low! I would highly recommend this place if you have the money!

Wonderful stay here for work/pleasure. I had to work which left my wife at the hotel, which is conveniently located within walking distance to many shops. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I thought the breakfast options were pretty good, I'm not sure where some other reviews' gripes are coming from. Room was clean and the the beds and pillows were super comfy. Shower pressure was really good and I actually fit under the shower head (I'm 6'). Given the chance to book this hotel again, I wouldn't think twice about picking it.

Very nice hotel! The room was clean and the beds were extremely comfortable! My husband and I arrived around 3am super tired and not in the best moods, until the gentleman that checked us in Osni provided us with his exceptional service. He definitely went out of his way to help and make our stay comfortable. From checking us in quickly to providing us with tooth paste and brushes! Will definitely return to this location!

Spent 2 weeks there for work and it was really a pleasant time. It's tough being away from home but the staff was very friendly. Meghan at the front desk always asked how things were going and wanted to know if there was anything that would make my stay better. Hotel was very clean and Alex always made sure the front desk area was mopped up for incoming guests. Rooms were clean and the breakfast was always good. I will stay here again when I travel back to Boston.

Friendly staff and clean rooms. More food options were offered with the continental breakfast than I expected! Great location as there are shopping stores and restaurants right across the street. Easy check-in/out process.

This hotel is beautiful. The area is so nice and relaxing. The rooms were super clean and modern. He beds are so comfy! The breakfast was delicious. The staff was super sweet. My boyfriend and I didn't want to leave. It's also perfect you are right in the middle of Boston and Salem both spots we were interested in going. Also the mall across the street came in handy. Did I mention fresh baked cookies are in the front every day?

This is the second time I stay in this Inn, I am so happy with the service. My room is always clean, every time I come across to an employee they are always nice and happy to help. I always see Johnathan when I check in and check out, he is such a sweetheart and super helpful. If you have any question he will help you out and if he doesn’t know believe me he will find out for you. There is also breakfast, they have a couple of options to choose from and if you prefer something else this Holiday Inn is in the right area, you have different places to eat and shop. Rooms or at least mine does not have a microwave but there is one in the lobby which is always clean and that is another thing, every time I go to the lobby I see them cleaning which I love that about this place. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Nice place to stay. Rooms are clean. Staff has always been nice every time I am here. Nice places to eat nearby along with a restaurant attached.

The building itself could use a little TLC, however the staff was SO friendly and helpful! Tyler (the night supervisor) is outstanding and made us feel so welcome! He was probably our favorite part of our stay with his friendly welcome each time we arrived back to the hotel!!

No complaints whatsoever.. staff was extremely pleasant, from maintenance to management. Breakfast was amazing every morning. Ya'll do have one guy at the counter his name may be Jose but he could lighten up a little. He works in the evenings and I believe he is a manager

The location is great with restaurants and shopping right there! Steffi helped us out at the front desk and was super friendly. The rooms were clean and the beds were SO comfortable with both soft and firm pillows. Bathroom was a bit small, but totally functional and stylish. Breakfast was nice with an assortment of hot foods (cinnamon rolls, pancakes, omelets, eggs, sausage, bacon), cereal, fruits, milk and juices, and bread options. Good times and we were so happy with our stay! The ice machine wasn't working on the 4th floor though so hopefully it will get fixed! More snack options for purchase would be nice, too!
