Fantastic little trail. Sure, you can hear the highway a bit in spots, but it's easy enough to let that pass into white noise as you enjoy the nature surrounding you.
Easy to get to. Plenty of parking. Definitely worth checking out.

Great place to take the kids and/or dogs for some exercise! The fall colors were in full effect when we went and it was stunning. My 2 and 6 year old kids had no trouble completing the loop and enjoyed all of the educational signs along the way as well as the"balance beams" (fallen logs marking the path) along the edge of the path. The path is smooth gravel so even if the little ones aren't paying attention they are unlikely to trip over anything. There were also several benches to stop and have a rest/snack on.

Gorgeous place to escape the city. Feels like you are in a real forest. There is a long and a shorter trail with benches here and there.

Lovely woods. Nice little story signs about skiing and winter wildlife along the trail. Easy reading. I’m going to bring my grandkids to read the story to us.

Peaceful spot to walk where you feel like you're far from the city. Main 1 mile trail is accessible, there are also other trails that branch out from main if you want to go there.

Neat little place to go for a simple walk and take some photos! No trash lying around and people that I went past were friendly, that's always a plus!

Great gravel trails through forest. Flower information signs are awesome. Also paved and dirt trails around reservoirs. Limited parking.

What a wonderful place to venture about and enjoy creation with family and friends of all ages. You can experience a variety of wildlife during every season. It’s a hidden gem within an urban environment.

Wonderful to have some forest available right in the city. It’s striking how much darker it is in the forest- wonderful on a hot day. The trail loop is crushed stone and is wheelchair accessible - about 1 mile I believe. There are smaller trails to explore off of the main loop as well. We saw a deer and heard blue jays, an Eastern wood pewee, and a wood thrush.

The forest trails are accessible from the parking area off of Swan Blvd, or from the side of the Wil-O-Way Center.

Love this place. It’s like a forest in the city! Great for a stroll, Art project, or just a hangout place. A couple of tables and garbage cans, accessible by the trails, would be nice. Therefore, you could eat.
