Dr. Kirsi Savusalo, DMD

I’m so glad and fortunate to have found Dr. Savusalo. She is amazing! She is extremely professional, caring, and compassionate. As a “more mature” patient, I so appreciate her approach to orthodontics. She explains everything extremely well, so you know exactly what to expect. It has been a delight. And I'm very impressed with my results so far. She is simply a great person! I'd highly recommend her to anyone.

Dr Savusalo is hands down the most amazing orthodontist that I have ever worked with. My son started his orthodontic treatment with her but had to move out of state before his treatment was complete. Dr Savusalo explained the options to us and kindly offered to complete his treatment. She was very flexible, went above and beyond to accommodate our travel arrangements and went repeatedly to the office after hours to see my son! She is a truly kind and amazing person. Beyond personality, she is a very knowledgeable orthodontist and her results are beautiful! I can’t recommend her enough!!!

I met Dr. Savusalo 20 years ago when she first did some orthodontic services on me as an adult. My now 14-year-old daughter is currently her patient. I cannot express in words how professional and amazing Dr. Savusalo and her staff all are. This is the best orthodontic practice in the Newton area.

I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Savusalo. She is warm and caring and is an excellent orthodontist. Both of my children are patients, and we've seen beautiful results. She is also incredibly committed to her patients. My son had two emergencies in the past year - one during her vacation and one during the pandemic. Dr. Savusalo happily made time for him after hours. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Savusalo has taken care of me since I was in middle school and has always done an incredible job! She goes above and beyond the call of duty to care for her patients. She has had a plan for my care since very early on that has played out over the years just as she always described to me. Throughout my time with her, she consistently explained what the situation was and what needed to be done with great clarity and kindness. I couldn't ask for a better orthodontist.

I was referred to Dr. Savusalo by my dentist when I decided to have my teeth straightened as an adult. I was mid-treatment when the COVID-19 pandemic began, and I was so concerned when I had a wire break during the Massachusetts stay at home order. I felt so safe going into her office for treatment.

Dr. Savusalo has gone above and beyond. She put into place a set of best practices and procedures and has taken every precaution to protect both her patients and her staff.

I highly recommend Dr. Savusalo if you are in need of orthodontic care. Everyone in her office is kind and professional. She explains her intended treatment plan clearly up front and outlines all related costs. She cares about her patients, and her orthodontic skills are exemplary. My teeth, and my bite, are beautiful!

My daughter had a broken wire at 730 at night and I called to leave a message to see if we could get an appointment before school the next day. I received a return call in 30 seconds and Dr. Savusalo offered to meet us in 10 minutes to to take care of the situation. She was very kind and we really recommend this great practice. She went above and beyond.

Dr Savusalo is truly amazing , kind and caring doctor. She is very responsive and will see you whenever needed. Her office is always immaculately clean and I feel so safe going there . You will not be disappointed with your care .

Only had a consultation, but it was a strange one. I didn't receive any paperwork regarding price estimates or any plan for treatment if I chose her. I've been to several other ortho offices and those have been standard. She was nice and so was the office, but definitely a bit un-ortho-dox.
