Studio on the Common

Bridal shower with decoupage oyster shells was fabulous! Dani, our instructor, was energetic, concise and very helpful. I couldn’t have been happier. We had 12 ladies but could have fit a couple more easily. We brought in our own food and bubbly. They had nice, clean navy blue table clothes on long tables. Plenty of space. Thanks to Studio on the Common for a perfect day!!

My 8 year old daughter has been to Girl Scout events, birthday parties and has now taken 2 summer camps at Studio on the Common; one for painting animals and one for pottery. She loves it every time, and they're all such different experiences. She learns a lot, has fun and has a lot to talk about when I pick her up. I always like the teachers and find that it's reasonably priced. Highly recommended. Her last experience was taking a week long pottery class in the summer and she came home with several beautiful pieces and a new love for making pottery.

Recently took a pottery throwing/wheel course here and it was so much fun! Our instructor, Knaide, was wonderful and extremely knowledgeable. After touring a few different studios in the area, this was the obvious choice. I was a complete novice and they were nothing but encouraging and helpful! Cannot wait to be back (:

My daughter is 11 years old and we discovered the studio last year and it was the best experience for her. We join fall, winter, spring and summer. We are so proud of the staff specially Miss Pickles. My daughter is on an IEP and these classes have given her confidence and a sense of accomplishment that she needs. And I have to mention the gift shop, which I enjoy very much!!! Thank you for have such an amazing business and always improving and changing and always having excellent communication with the parents.

I’ve visited Studio On the Common many times for baby gifts, hostess gifts, gifts for loved ones for many occasions, as well as things for myself! Great selection of home items, cozy items, thoughtful and fun things too! The staff is extremely helpful and kind, I always enjoy a visit to Studio On the Common. Great classes for kids also!

Can't say enough good things about Studio on the Common. Great local gift shop, art classes, and camps. The staff are friendly, helpful. Art teachers are inspiring and motivating. They have a great selection of gifts for any occasion--birthdays, anniversaries, holidays--things I didn't know I needed!

My twins have had a wonderful experience with the day camps. The instructors are great, and my kiddos look forward to their time spent there!

We come here routinely to find inspired seasonal gifts, but it wasn't until we signed our oldest child up for pottery class that we really found out how amazing this place is. Our oldest has found an amazing artistic inspiration here, and they love these classes so much that, no matter how tired they are from sports or working, they come out of class energized and talking about this being the best day ever. Honestly we've found that the teaching here is extremely solid too - our child went from barely knowing how to mash clay to creating really beautiful and polished works of art! These are now extremely in-demand with our family and friends. It's an amazing place

The Studio on the Common has a great selection of unusual gifts for hostesses, friends, men and babies. I enjoyed shopping locally at Christmas in this warm, friendly place. Check out the art studio with classes, camps and even sewing and knitting classes. My daughter loved a recent paint event with her friends.

Gail, Kathy and the rest of the staff are always so accommodating and helpful. I've rented her studio space for private events and everyone is warm, welcoming, trusting. Her store products are so wonderful that I want to buy everything in sight! I love Studio on the Common and look forward to shopping there, always.

The Studio is a special place in our community. The store sells a wide range of unique gifts (perfect for holidays, hostess gifts, birthdays or just to treat yourself) and many of the items are Fair Trade. They also offer great classes for adults and youth and have an amazing program called "Create Good" where they host shopping events that benefit local non profits. Awesome place!

My son had the best time at summer camp - in Pottery and 3D and Me. He left with new friends, new skills and budding confidence in his artistic skills! We highly recommend

Thank you Studio on the Common for a night of creativity, fun, and stress relief. We offered this event as part of recognition week activities for colleagues and received great feedback. Highly recommend the virtual experience to connect with one another, build teamwork and have the added benefit of family members joining in too.

My kids loved their summer camp (Art & pottery). The teachers were nice and instructive, they enjoyed being able to go outside for snack, and learned a lot of creative skills.

Studio on the Common hosted my daughter's Brownie troop for their pottery badge. The girls each made a fox sculpture, and loved selecting their glazes. We can't wait to see the finished results! Working with Studio on the Common was convenient and fun, and we are hoping to come back next year for another badge.

We love love love the art classes at Studio on the Common. SO creative, so supportive, so just 'fun'...it is such a wonderful resource for local families and kids.

I did a bachelorette party here where we got to make some pieces on the wheel! Our instructor, Knaide, was very helpful in making sure that we learned something and were able to successfully make pieces to take home. Would recommend for this kind of event!
