El Patio

I am an older gringo that loves most things latin America. I like this place because everyone is speaking Spanish, the soccer game is on the tele, and I feel that I could be in Mexico, Cuba or of course central america.
It has a homey vibe. I feel right at home and welcomed (altho I was the only gringo in the place. But I'm used to that from my travels. No problemo.) I have only eaten here twice so far, but the food has been great, with huge portions. Tonight I got 2 huge tamales and the fried bananas with sweetened condensed milk. Yum!
Parking is behind, which seemed scary at first, but it is very brightly lit, and there are lots of folks going in and out of the back door to the parking area. So it was fine.

El Patio is a pan-Latin American restaurant that serves a huge variety of foods. Their menu is enormous and they have variations from various countries down south. The setting is authentic and although the menus are in English, the staff here try to encourage you to use a little Spanish when you can which is great. Their portions are huge, prices are good for the size and the quality of food is fantastic. They have a lot of seating inside and it's kind of a hole in the wall location, so parking is in the back. It can get crowded weekday nights though, so either go earlier or later for dinner.

Eating a baliada when you're really hungry around lunch is one of life's biggest joys. Their flour tortillas are the best around, they really make the dish! It's always friendly and full of locals inside. Neighborhood community gem.

Very authentic food and server, Francisco, was friendly and attentive. I ordered the molcajete Carne asada. My meat, chorizo and cactus was generously portioned in a rich tomato based broth. It was served in a volcano rock deep dish called a molcajete, used to grind spices a la mortar and pesto. Very family friendly and to go orders. Highly recommend this place. I'll be back!

Yummers! Sat at the bar and drank a house margarita, delicious, while waiting for my to go order. Staff very friendly as were the other customers. I ordered the Pupusas Maiz / Queso con Jalapeño, cheesy spicy deliciousness, and Taquitos Hondurenos, full of flavor!

Some of the best nachos I've ever had! Tons of toppings, one of the few times I thought I may need more chips, opposed to more toppings. A lot of other great dishes on the menu, can't wait to try.

Huge portions and good prices. Didn’t have a vegetarian section on its menu but I ended up ordering sides and made it as a plate. Food was flavorful and fresh! Service forgot my friend’s order but food didn’t take too long!

As a long-time customer, I can confidently say this is one of the best restaurants I've found in Seattle. Excellent for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Pollo con Tajadas is one of my favorite dishes here.

Take it from a real mexican: this is some darn good food! Especially for the price! The staff are kind; the only thing I could do with that is the music, but whatever.

The best Latina food in the Northwest!!! I love this place I drive all the way from Bellevue, and I take all of my pirates!

There’s three really pretty señorita‘s that cook in the kitchen and one muchacho and I’ve tried everything on the menu and it is amazing!

Sopa de patas was one of the greatest plates they have... pupusas are awesome! Best Latin American restaurant I've been too.

Very good food and very nice people. Everything is very flavorful. El Patio is the place I eat at when I am in the Northgate area.

Delicious Authentic Central American Food. Great selection and diversity of staple Latino food. Low-key , friendly staff. Will be back! Had ,Taquitos Honduras.

The place was packed and I still received fast, courteous and accommodating service. The plate sizes are much larger than you pay for! The molcajete mixto has authentic flavors and is enough for 2 people, so either share or be prepared to take some home. The papusas were fantastic as well! 80$ for 2 ppl, 2 margaritas and Papusas w/ additional appetizers - that you will def have enough to take home - made my experience fantastic! Will def be back again soon to take some pics! Fresh made salsas and beautiful plates.

Food is DELICIOUS! I Recommend this place to to everyone. We Bring family from out of town here. We had Stephanie as our waitress, she was very friendly & on top of it. Will be back soon.

Delightful! The food was fantastic and the service was prompt and friendly. I would definitely recommend any of the house specialties. I got the Enchiladas Hondureños and my spouse got one of the chicken entrees. Both were delicious! We also split an order of potato pastalitos. Yum!

My mom and I were staying over night at a nearby motel after my dad's successful heart procedure at UW medicine. We live on the other side of the pass in Eastern WA. We did not know this area at all. We walked to El Patio. So glad we did. Great food, great service and great margaritas!

Easy parking in back. I had the pollo asado platter. All parts were delicious. The house-made corn tortillas were great. Plenty of seating, with comfortable chairs. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Great to have this place in the neighborhood!
