I have been renting a car at least 4 days a month from Hertz for the last 5 years. I have NEVER once been disappointed. Service is fast, reliable and well priced. If you are going to rent often, go with Hertz. If you can join the Gold Club most of the time you do not even have to go to the counter. Make your reservation online and you will be directed to where your car is parked with keys in it. Don't like the Car - upgrade for free when you are a Gold Club member. Awesome company, better service, especially at Reagan airport and Albany International airport.

Car was ready and waiting when I arrived. Kenny was the clerk who checked me in when I returned the car. He was great very friendly and helpful. His co-worker Robert even drove us around to the terminal in the car we returned. No need to remove our bags or ride the shuttle. Great service as always, will rent from Hertz again for sure.

I booked a car online through the Hertz website and chose to "book now" for a lower rate. I started doing this because what I've noticed is that often times booking this way is the same price (if not cheaper) than many car rental, hotel, and flight booking sites. The process at this location was simple enough and they didn't push hard on trying to up-sell me. They simply asked once and that was it. Returning was easy as you just park the car and walk off since they do everything by email & your Hertz account online.

Our experience using Hertz to use a rental car in the Wash, DC area and further in Atlanta, GA was smooth and problem-free, It took us awhile to find the Hertz counter from the baggage claim area at DCA and it was quite a hike. Once we got the vehicle, it was somewhat confusing on how to exit the rental area and the airport proper. We got a small SUV which was sufficient as we were transporting some family members around and the gas mileage was excellent. We returned the car in Atlanta and just followed the signage to get it checked in. All in all, we would recommend Hertz for your car rental. Thanks, Hertz!

Our interaction with Budget was disappointing. We walked immediately over to Hertz, and was greeted by Ms. Barbra, who was as helpful as anyone in her position could be. Without having reservations she was able to search the system for an even better deal than we initially had with Budget rental. Five stars for outstanding customer service! Thanks for such a quick and easy resolution.

My recent rental was great! My name was up on the Gold Board and the vehicle was the one I was expecting. The SUV ran great and bringing the car back was a breeze. No problems. I enjoy renting from Hertz.

Somehow there was a difference between our reservation price quote and the printout at the exit. I returned to the desk and Barbara quickly and efficiently squared it away. When we returned the car, James, the agent for returns saw we had a mountain of bags for our trip back to Peru, and he drove us over to the terminal in the car. Fantastic service. Never been treated better. Thanks.

I used Hertz Gold service at DCA twice in 3 months and had a great experience. The mobile app allowed easy access to my reservation, my car was ready and in good condition without a line wait, and the kiosk check out and turn in service was fast and efficient.

Hertz - Wow! Never been disappointed. Always ready. No lines. When we checked back in, our guy was fabulous. Not only did he make the checkout painless - totally painless, he helped us clean out the junk we had acquired AND then explained where we needed to go next. Unbelievable, and if there is any way to recognize I would greatly appreciate. I intended to get his name, etc. but we were running so far behind, he knew it and took care of us. I will only use Hertz.

The Hertz Team at DCA was extremely helpful throughout our rental experience, from helping us find the best car, to checking us in quickly upon our early return before "the storm", and even helping us retrieve a cell phone inadvertently left in the car. Great work, everyone -- see you next time!

Jackie from Hertz was so great. I couldn't have been having a worse day and Jackie was just wonderful. She made me forget the stress I was feeling and was just so friendly, and gave me some friendly advice. I really appreciate her taking the time and going the extra step. Hertz you have a wonderful employee she is a compliment to your organization.

I was in and out of the Hertz parking lot in about 2 minutes. The car was impecable and it even smelled new still. Great company with great service. I will definitely only rent from Hertz now and so should you.

Very sweet girl checked us out. I was in and out in about 10 minutes, even though I paid withe a debit card and they had to run my credit. Process was so easy. And she even gave us bottles water for the trip. Will be using the service again! Car was great, loved the GPS that came with it and that I could link my phone to make calls...wish that I could have linked phone for music, but it only supported the iPhone...only downside for me as I'm an Android lover!

Super deal, great service. I have company rentals and they choose the lowest bidder. I was surprised that Hertz was lowest and expected a bottom of the line product. But, they gave me full Gold service with rapid in and out and free upgrade to boot.

I have been a Hertz Gold Card customer for over 20 years and I continue to be a happy camper. My experience at DCA last week was a pleasure.My name was listed on the gold list on 3 when we got in. The entire checkout procedure took about 90 seconds and when I checked back in the "let us take you to your terminal immediately" was a pleasant surprise and something I had not encountered before. My Hertz experience did not my recent encounters with No. 2. For that fact, I am sending my $50.00 back to New Jersey. Hertz DCA, unlike No. 2, did not give me a rollerskate at their DC metro locations. Their young woman at the gold counter was trying to help a angry customer who was upset his car was not ready. I was impressed with her demeanor, tring to resolve the issue. She apologize for my delay, and immediately had a car brought up. Upon my early morning return, the attendant noticed I was having mobilty problems walking with my cane and luggage. Told me to get in the rental unit and dropped me at the United Airlines, outside baggage counter. To go the extra step, he caught me inside the TSA line to return GPS accessories to me that I hadleft in the vehicle. Guess what? I have booked a new rental at DCA with Hertz, and cancelled my No. 2 rental in September. It all about customer service.

I was happy with the rental but since i am gold, i did not see the reserve board until i returned the car. They did not tell me to check the board, but it seems everybody had to go into the Hertz office to get their reservation. That was the only issue i had.

It was a typical Eastern Seaboard storm -ridden long summer flight day. All connections West were missed out of DC. Thank God for Hertz --- rsvpd from Manchester -- hassle -free Gold service and 2 cold bottles of water later, made it 350 miles make to Ohio. Hertz was a great travel partner. PS added bonus -- no drop fee!
