Amazon Fresh

Great little grocery store. A lot of options for locals and those visiting from out of town. If one were closer to home, I’d sign up for Amazon One. Having said that, not an issue if you’re not a member. Checkout counter for non members. If you don’t want to pay for bags do bring your own. But when you walk in, fruit right up front. To the left working in u shape back to check out. Have your rotisserie chickens, pizza by the slice or full pizza, hot sandwiches, sushi, dairy/yogurt/cheeses, meats/seafood, cereals/deli meats, cookies/crackers/sodas, coffee/teas/sports drinks/freezer sections, cleaning goods/kitchen items, breads/donuts, then a separate section for wines/beer. Easy to find at the corner of Crystal Drive and 15th street. Happy shopping.

Cool experience, they allow dogs so it was great. Also tons of cameras so don't need to scan anything on your own, fast experience. They also ask if you have a chip. I think some people probably have one, it seems it would be even faster. Very similar to whole foods but much cheaper. The best item is 5 dollar roses. I don't think there's a better price in arlington than that. The sushi is good too and it's a good place for fruit salads and meat.

First time! Entrance requires use of credit card that's linked to an active Amazon account. Prices seem just slightly higher than in a grocery store, but not bad. Great selection of single serving meal options. Right next to the CVS. Was very clean and empty.

Once I figured out how to setup the entrance sign up the experience was excellent. Selection wasn't quite there but they were in the process of restocking. Lots of shelves were empty. The staff were excellent and very helpful and went out of their way to assist. The process went perfect and my bill was correct even though I replaced an item! Will definitely go here again. Was in and out in 13 minutes!

Very convenient for Crystal City residents! They seem to have all the basics and some extra stuff, like cooking utensils. Some items, like ground coffee, seem to be cheaper than at CVS next door or Harris Teeter down the street (and definitely less than at the nearby Whole Foods), others, like soda, seem a little more expensive for some reason.

Amazon Fresh was an amazing experience. I had fun with the staff who were restocking the shelves and I bought a huge BBQ pizza. Walking our the store was hilarious. I looked around to see if anyone was going to come after me!😅🤣🤣. Upgrade! I will waive my hand to enter and exit next..." open says mee!"🤣🤣🤣

This is a great place to go for occasional items rather than a large shopping order. Selection is limited but reasonably priced and occasionally one can hit on a great sale. Use your Amazon Prime app to scan in and out and leave the checkout lane behind. Hours are good. Store is clean. Employees are pleasant.

Very welcoming and lots of products! Easy purchasing and people friendly. Have a separate area to purchase liquor.

First time experience. Staff was very helpful. Pricing seemed on par for the area. Inventory was a little sparse. I'd liken it to A NYC Bodega but cleaner.

Great place! Grab all the items you need, the store is quite spacious inside and has most of what you’ll need, the concept of Amazon Fresh in itself is nice, just grab whatever you need and walk right out, your account gets charged and don’t need to spend any time checking out. Have your bags ready (or grab the ones in store for a small fee) and bag items as you go, walk through the gate, keep your cart in place, grab your packed bags and done! And if you run into any issues, the staff had been helpful anytime I required help.

Wow! The stores been open less than 48 hours and already people are complaining with one star!
The store is brand new and and any person with common sense would know there are things that need to take time to work themselves out.

I will say I enjoyed the experience very much and the employees were also very nice and knowledgeable! There weren’t as many items from amazon’s “happy belly” brand as I would have liked but, again, the store is literally brand new and things will take time to be fully stocked.

To answer a complaint in another review about the receipt …it does take time but it’s nothing to be angry about. It took a few hours for my receipt to be emailed to me…and guess what? There was a mistake! I was charged for something I didn’t buy, just something I had picked up, but decided later, I didn’t need.

BUT being 2022 I didn’t bother calling - or losing my temper- I opened the APP and used the easy features to point out I didn’t buy the item, within minutes I was sent an apology and refunded.

I am so happy THIS IS the future of shopping and can’t wait to use this store as much as possible. Great prices, great selection, awesome workers, and amazing & easy experience. (Remember to be kind and patient as this is new technology and a new store and soon you will understand the method…patience and open mindedness go a long way!)

I love this concept and wonderful realization of the difficult implementation issues surrounding contact free shopping. Just swipe your in-store code from the Amazon app on your way in and again on your way out of the turnstile. The in-store selection is recorded by cameras and highly accurate email is emailed to you same day with your receipt.

Amazon Fresh is the nearest grocery store to my house. Although it’s limited in supplies, it has the most important items, which is always helpful. The walk-in experience is quick and convenient.

What a neat store. You scan your phone with the Amazon App up. You just put your stuff in bags. No cashier. All the cameras inside ring up your tab.

It was my first time at Amazon Fresh, and I found it to be very clean and easy to navigate. The cameras are everywhere and sounded like birds chirping

I used Amazon fresh while I was in Richmond Va on a work assignment for about 3 weeks. I absolutely love the quality of the food. The price was a little bit higher than grocery shopping myself, but for the convenience it was well worth it. Produce was super fresh and as a prime member I didn’t have to pay for delivery.

GREAT grocery store. It’s a small store so their selection isn’t the best and given the location some of their items have a bit of a price-hike, but it’s overall an excellent contender for stores in the area. Produce is fresh, bakery is always stocked, and the convenience of the Just Walk Out tech is top tier. If you’re a frugal shopper, you’ll probably need to supplement this store with something like Walmart or Harris Teeter, but this place is excellent for late-night snacks, grab n go dinner, or a quick shopping trip for a few things

It's true, selection is spotty. But prices are good and it's so convenient. Love that it's small and employees are great. The convenience of no check out is a real bonus.

Easy to shop and had everything I was looking for. Great for smaller day to day shopping on the go.

This store opened a little over a month ago and what an amazing addition to life in Crystal City. Love the simplicity and ease of shopping here. The selection may be more limited that other “full size” grocery stores; but, I promise you will find everything that need here. The prices and availability is awesome!!!! This is a must have for Crystal City residents. Thank You!!!
