Morfey's Cakes

If you are looking for a cake for someone special or just yourself, I recommend you try Morfeys. I have purchased from a handful of other shops in Seattle over the last 5 years and so far, Morfeys Cakes is my favorite. I wanted to surprise my fiancé for his birthday with a white confetti cake that reminded him of his childhood and this cake was so cute. The buttercream was smooth and delicious, without any strong sugary aftertaste. The raspberry buttercream filling was my favorite it was sweet and just a little tart. After we opened the cake, I placed it in a cake container and two days later the cake was still moist and the buttercream tasted fresh. Erin, was just as sweet as the cakes she bakes and was super accommodating. I highly recommend!

Erin is amazing! She took our last minute order and did the customized cake. The cake was beautiful, it looked and tasted amazing. We also loved the cupcakes, they were so fresh and moist. Loved the guava icing and strawberry one.

This adorable bakery snuck up on me while out for a walk the other day, and boy oh boy was I pleased to run into them! I got one of the Tastiest Cupcakes I've had in my life. I'm way too excited to go back for another bite! Super Cozy atmosphere on top of the grand desserts!

Stopped in to check out what Morfey’s had to offer and tried this absolutely delightful melt in your mouth almond citrus cupcake. Took a look at the cakes and they were works of art. You definitely need to call ahead or go online for like wedding cakes, birthday cakes or other celebrations. If you are passing by like we were stop in for a cupcake you wont be disappointed.

Got a cake for an engagement party after my friend recommended this cake shop. It was perfect! Looked beautiful and well done. Tasted absolutely delicious. We ordered one that could feed 30 and it was all gone by the end of the night. So good! Thanks Morfey's!

Morfey's cakes is the best! The owner is super sweet and nice and has made the best cakes for our friend group. I've had their black velvet, champagne cake (my favorite), white cake, chocolate baileys (something like that) and carrot cake... our group loves her cakes and gets them whenever there's something to celebrate! Most recently she did my friends good bye cake and the decorations were amazing. All I told her was my friend was moving to vegas and she's from london originally... she made 2 amazing cakes.

This cake was everything I dreamed and more! I had an Edgar Allan Poe wedding and Erin perfectly captured the theme and the look I was going for. Not only that, she worked with me to get the cake flavor exactly how I wanted. It was delicious AND beautiful! Thank you so much!

Friendly staff, great cakes! Presentation and flavor (most importantly) were fantastic! This was champagne cake with raspberry buttercream filling and a plain buttercream icing on the outside.

I've had many Morfey's cakes from previous events but this was the first time I've ordered one myself. I got the 6" round for a friend's birthday and they did an excellent job. I didn't have much of a vision going in, but the bakers did a phenomenal job realizing my vague instructions - pink and yellow flower motif with a simple birthday message.

I ordered a little less than a week in advance but everything was ready as expected.

I called in with a vague idea of what I was looking for, and the customer service Erin provided was truly amazing! She took the time to bounce ideas back and forth with me, let me think it over, and then I called back a few weeks later super excited about what we had collaborated on. When I picked up the cake, I was so impressed with how beautiful and perfect the cake looked (pictures really don't do it justice though!). I kept it refrigerated for two days until I finally got to enjoy it on my birthday and WOW, the taste and texture was spot on. I have never had such a great tasting cake and overall flawless experience with Morfey's. 10/10 recommend to anyone!!

Erin made the most gorgeous and DELICIOUS gluten free cake for my friend’s 30th Birthday! I had zero idea what type of design to do so gave her the color scheme and said “go for it!” It turned out so pretty and perfect and you’d never know it was gluten free. I am so impressed and will use Erin for all occasions moving forward. Thank you!

I was searching for someone to do a custom cake for a friend who loves Settlers of Catan. Morfey’s cakes came through with under 2 weeks notice and created the most amazing cake. It was so delicious and the owner has the most positive, happy attitude and infectious laugh as the cherry on top. Thank you Morfey’s!

I had our wedding cake made for us at Morfey's Cake, and we were extremely pleased by the experience and result! They're a busy business, so we did give Morfey's ample time when booking our tasting and reserving the cake, and it all went smoothly!

We called ahead and made the cake tasting appointment in advance, and had a fun time tasking cake samples (with coffee!) with Erin, and going over designs. We'd looked at Morfey's website and Instagram beforehand so had a good sense of what we wanted. We decided to buy our own cake toppers, but had Morfey's make the sugar flowers for us.

Because we were getting married in Seattle and our cake was relatively small, we elected to pick up the cake ourselves and deliver it to save on the delivery fee. Made the reservation, the cake was ready on time, and it was well packaged for travel (it was defintely a 2 person job, even with our smaller cake, so bring someone if you decide to deliver it yourself).

And wow, we were overjoyed by how beautiful the cake looked! It impressed our guests and was a beautiful decoration on the day of the wedding. And it tasted so good! It was delicious, flavorful, moist - some of the best cake I've had! We loved it!

We're definitely going to use Morfey's for special occasion cakes in the future! Thanks Erin for making our wedding day that much more special!

Erin was so helpful and responsive when I got a cake for a surprise retirement party for my dad; I was planning the whole thing from California so worked on the cake and designed remotely with Erin.
I sent a cake topper to her shop and she incorporated that into the design. I was pleasantly suprised by the size and beauty of the cake. It was exactly what I envisioned and it tasted DELICIOUS. Everyone was raving about the cake.

Over the top! Highly recommended both artistically and quality of the cakes. Plus great service. They make the most amazing custom cakes, we had a Harry Potter theme & it was awesome, equally great tasting. This should be your favorite bakery and Seattle you are so fortunate to have them! Wish they were in California as well.

Great customer service! They helped me design a beautiful retirement cake for my parents over the phone. The cake looked beautiful and tasted great. Turns out our parents got their wedding cake from Morfeys and we had no idea, so that was a fun surprise!

The cakes and experience are always excellent! We've gotten many cakes and even our wedding cake made at Morfey's. The cakes are fantastic, and Erin is a delightful person to work with.

My partner and I had our wedding cake done with Morfey’s cakes. We had a pretty last minute (2 week notice) request. Morfey’s accommodated us, listened to what we wanted and delivered an awesome (rainbow) cake for our wedding. 5 stars all around!

Erin did such a great job with an Alien/Area 51 themed cake. It looked so cute and tasted really good!
