Happy Teriyaki 11 on River Road

Randomly stopped here while driving through town. Pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. Great service, big portions, super clean.

Huge portions of super tender, juicy cuts of meat with a thick teriyaki sauce that is top-notch. The chicken is classic and the pork had a nice smoky/charred flavor to it. Extra points for perfectly cooked, fluffy rice.

Service was nice but slow in getting food out, even on a weekday. Regardless, the food hits the spot and well worth the drive for us

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - Tonkatsu was juicy and tender. Not too heavy of a fry, which I appreciate, but still has the crispy/crunchy exterior. Simple dish but absolutely delicious and such a generous serving!!

Yakisoba with beef reminded us of Chinese chow mien as the noodles were more soft in texture. The sauce they provided on the side added a lot of flavor with some soy sauce and sweet/tangy flavor

Frozen yogurt is surprisingly good! It's a bit tart but very refreshing. Very generous with the serving size

Ambience: N/A - ordered food to go. Simple but classy feel with fish tank at the entrance and a little fish pond in the middle

Service: 5/5 - super friendly lady who greeted some customers by name. She was running the place by herself for a while but was still friendly and paid attention to each customer as much as she could. At one point while she was talking on the phone, the phone rang again while she was ringing out a customer and another asking for containers to go. But she was still friendly and just asked for a moment while she attended to each

Value for price: 5/5 - highly recommend! Service was amazing, food was wonderful, and the price reasonable. The atmosphere was great and you can tell it's a favorite as the restaurant was busy constantly even at 4 PM

This place was hopping (dine-in and takeout)!! The chicken jalapeno appetizer had some nice heat, the spicy beef was good, the favorite of the night was the chicken teriyaki and the cabbage side, fresh and steamed perfectly.

Great Service, like an old fashioned diner! This place was CLEAN! First teriyaki joint in a while that did NOT have sticky tables or floor! Lots of veggies with the teriyaki chicken. This place ROCKS!!!

Honestly? Just pretty good little place. Staff was super nice and friendly. The pond is a neat concept to have. Food is super good! I'd definitely come back here. Give it a shot, it's worth it

I come here a lot. The food here is always beautiful, has fantastic flavor and is piping hot. The staff is always pleasant and accommodating. I highly recommend giving this place a shot.

Still an incredible place to grab some delicious teriyaki! While you currently can’t enjoy their spacious and impressively decorated (an indoor water feature complete with fish?!) you can still get their tasty food by ordering online!

We got the gyoza plate, chicken teriyaki and tonkatsu combo, spicy chicken, side salad, and fried rice. While I expected it to be a lot of food, it still exceeded my expectations. Their portion sizes are large (especially for the rice and salad items) but I could have used just a bit more meat.

As far as flavor and texture, they are on it! Their gyoza was some of the best I’ve ever had, crunchy, not soggy, with wonderful flavors. The salad was heaping, crisp, complete with nut shavings and a good portion of dressing on the side. Their spicy chicken was incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked, though I suggest asking for a side of their spicy sauce if you do want it to be more than a low/medium spice. Their tonkatsu was fantastic! Very crunchy yet easy to eat and just plain delicious. I would say their fried rice did leave me wanting a bit. We got massive portions, but the flavor just wasn’t there. All of their sauces were also very tasty.

Really good chicken teriyaki. I will be back.

i walked in and there were only a few tables taken since i came before the dinner rush. i was seated right away and the lady asked what i would like to drink. she brought my water and saw that i was ready to order. i got the gyōza appetizer and spicy teriyaki chicken bowl, the waitress told me those are her 2 favorite dishes so i knew i ordered right. the gyōza were perfect, a little crunch but not too much with a delicious dipping sauce. the chicken bowl came out and i knew i would have leftovers. rice, veggies, and chicken with a spicy teriyaki sauce that was great. i really like spicy food so i may ask for hot sauce or added jalapeños next time but it won't need much to make the spice level perfect. i will definitely be going back.

The whole family loves it! We've been here a few times now, and finally a got a food pic before digging in. (It's that good, no one wants to wait). My favorite is the Happy Bowl, and their signature teriyaki is quite good. The kids like the gyoza plate. All are very generous portion sizes. I always have plenty left over for lunch the following day. The staff are friendly knowledgeable about the menu. Currently (as of March 18) reflooring, so only a section of the restaurant was open for seating. Pretty little koi fish pond fountain at the center, and they even let my son feed the fish!

Our family and friends have been coming here over 15 years… and today august 4, 2022 my family down south “Mexico” are at this amazing teriyaki restaurant on our family reunion. Some of us have not been here over years so it’s a memorable moment. Food great, drinks great, and service is on point. Thank you

Happy Teriyaki #11 is probably my absolute favorite Teriyaki place around! It has the best atmosphere with a full on water feature with fish in the center of the restaurant, as well as a cool entryway complete with an arbor. The staff are very friendly, and definitely deserving of the "Happy" title of the restaurant. My favorite part is the portion sizes you get. I usually order a typical Chicken Teriyaki, and the amount of chicken they give is second to none (see photo). Additionally, they offer GLUTEN FREE teriyaki sauce which is unique! I have yet to see that anywhere else, and it actually tastes pretty good! The cost is slightly higher than some places ($10.95 reg, $11.50 GF) but I think the quality and portion sizes are well worth the extra. The only thing I might add to make the whole experience even better would be some authentic traditional music, although the sound of the water feature is also very delightful. I love this place and I'd definitely recommend a bunch of visits here!

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for more than 10 years and the food is always on point and delicious! Customer service is also great! I definitely recommend this place to everyone I meet/know!!

Very good Teriyaki. I have been going there since I was a little kid. I’m 36 now. The only Teriyaki place I’ll eat at. I’ve tried other places and its not that great. This place has big portions and quality of food is tremendous. 😋😋😋😋😋

Good place to eat! I visited Seattle and I came down here to look around and found the hot place I was craving Asian food and found teriyaki place and I got donkatsu which is the best decision I’ve made! It’s really big portion I saved for later.
