The pharmacy and staff are efficient and kind. They always treat our patients with care and typically have what we order. Thank You Safeway for being amazing!

I’ve always preferred this small Safeway to the larger ones in the area. It may not have as much in selection but it’s a nicer experience. Plus their floral shop is really good. I put in a rush order and Lynnette had it ready before I got to the store shortly after I called. Made my daughter’s day! I love their costumer service!

I shop deals at Safeway I comparison shop between all stores to get the better deals. Customer care at Safeway is outstanding. Update... 1/7/24 Still a great place to shop for deals and to grab last minute items. Make sure you do the digital coupons before you leave home.

Friendly cashiers. Shelves well stocked. I even said no to bakery item. They looked so good. Especially the brownies. I fought temptation and won. But darn it, the buy one, get one Select ice cream got me. My grandkids will enjoy it during the warm days ahead.

Friendly. Small. Convenient... pharmacy small but fast ,& friendly. And they go the extra mile to help out if i have questions or information about my meds.

I asked for a corsage to be made for my son's winter ball, but the floral manager never got around to making it. Manager Jamie stepped up to the plate, arranged to have it made in a different store, and brought it to me personally. Jamie's efforts far above anything I could have hoped for. Please accept my sincere gratitude.

There is a wonderful lady named Lanette working in the floral department. She smiled when I walked into the store. As I passed by, I made a comment about the flowers she was working with. She asked me to come over & smell some of the carnations she was prepping. I told her they smelt amazing! She handed me a small one & said it was for me. Her smile, the small talk, & the gesture she made, really made my day! I've been dealing with some mental health issues and Lanette made me smile & feel noticed, making me want to fight another day! It was something so simple but made a huge difference in my life today! The world needs more employees like Lanette! Thank you Lanette!

Let me tell you about the cake I special ordered I called the lacey safeway an the lady said no to everything... I called this safeway an they made magic happen I drove 30mins from dupont to get this special cake I was greeted nicely even through I was late an my man anthony was so excited to see and show me the master piece it was worth every penny ..it was casino themed an they nailed it I will make this my go to bakery from here on out thank you so much. The cake was amazing perfect. It's nothing less then five stores an the store was fresh an clean best safeway I've been to.

This Safeway is clean, in a great location, and stays open until 1am making it one of my go to places since I do most of my shopping later at night. The parking lot is not too big because of it's location, but I always seem to find a parking spot right in front of the store. At this location the curbside parking is not reserved for handicap patrons only making it convenient for parents who shouldn't have to rush through parked cars with children in tow. They have self checkout and friendly cashier's. The meat, bakery/bread dept. are a bit small and the produce dept is average sized. The prices are higher for some items as they are now in most grocery stores.. but after applying the in store savings, my for U deals, and rewards specials I spend about the same (sometimes more/someone's less)...I always save much more on the things I purchase most often. I would and have recommended this store to everyone.

It's a small store. It has a little bit of everything but not all you would find at the updated larger locations. The employees are nice and helpful.

Not the newest Safeway, kind of older, BUT packed with great items. Self checkout available. Great customer service at checkout! The pharmacist is spectacular. She can handle a line of people while staying friendly, helpful, and seems to know most everyone.

Excellent customer service. The staff were very well informed about the products they sold here and were very kind in helping me locate what I needed. The pharmacy staff in particular are very nice and help run you through any questions you may have about the medications you are picking up from there. When I called to see if my prescription was ready, they also informed me in advance what my copay would be which was very helpful.

Had a great experience at Safeway. I had trouble finding what I need. I found a person stocking shelves. I asked for his help. He took time away from what he was doing to help me. He asked for help from a lady who worked in the department I needed. It was so refreshing to be treated so nice. I will not forget this experience. And Safeway will be the place I will shop. Thank you.

Jodi the pharmacist was super nice. She answered all my questions and she was very friendly. She even got me a glass of water so I could take some DayQuil. She was extremely knowledgeable and super sweet and cared about how I was doing. I had a wonderful experience at this store because of the wonderful customer service. :)

As always, the staff at the downtown Puyallup Safeway were AWESOME! And as usual, there was a gentleman who appeared to be either battling mental illness, drug addiction, or both, having a fist fight with a figment of his imagination in the parking spots right next to the doors by the bakery. And as usual, there was a belligerent man screaming profanities and threatening one of the male employees. And as usual, the male employee was calm, respectful, but firm with the man who was berating him. I love this Safeway because the employees are beyond great. But i am POSITIVE not one single employee there gets paid what they're worth! Especially the night shift. I've seen these employees take abuse from customers that you'd think would push anyone over the edge, and they remain so calm, never raise their voice, never overstep the line to inappropriate (although im sure nobody would blame them if they did with some of the things ive heard people say to them and threaten them with). Basically what im saying is, if you shop the downtown Puyallup Safeway, on Meridian and 7th, by the fairgrounds, dont forget to tell the employees how much they're appreciated. Because im sure they dont hear it enough. And they absolutely deserve it.

On top of their regularly assigned job duties, they also act as security guards, and absolutley have and will put themselves between any customer and any sort of danger. Keep up the good work guys!!! It is noticed and it is definitely appreciated!! I hope someone gets this to corporate so you guys get recognized for all the extra you do!! Employees like you guys are why people continue to shop this location!!

The gentleman working there this evening was incredibly polite and helpful. I very much appreciated his courtesy and professionalism. Unfortunately, I did not catch his name but he can be described as tall and a man that goes to work to work.

The venerable downtown Puyallup Safeway is a smaller store but maintains most of the normal Safeway inventory. They have a particularly good selection of ornamental plants and flowers as well as complex helium balloons for many occasions!
