L & M Firehouse

Generally a really good place to eat and enjoy games, pool and Music. Service is generally good, but I’ve been there when it wasn’t. On one of my visits the waitress was pretty slow, unfriendly and to some extent rude. I’m guessing you know who you are. Otherwise I’ve always had a great meal there with family and friends. The prices are still reasonable.

Was lucky enough to have one of the funnier servers and bartenders named Heather tending to our needs, but I kept it simple.

They are actually pretty cool. When you order a burger here you get your choice of sides, which could be their soup, salad, or fries.

So I naturally opted for the tomato basil soup, my brother on the other hand he had to have the classic Reuben sandwich with french fries…

I need to tell you their season fries are so good that they should be snorted the restaurant or smoked in a pipe. It is got to be the best serving of fries I’ve ever stolen off my brothers played the hamburger was delicious.

The bun is an epic brioche bun. This place has a ton of TVs and fun activities and it was actually a historic fire house so you can go out front and see the historic fire engine.

The prices are very reasonable between two beverages in to good-sized bills you were out a total of 40 bucks unless she decided to tip more…

And I didn’t tip more because our service was incredible.!

Small local bar. Everyone is very friendly. The food has never disappointed us any time we have been there. They have two nice pool tables, we played a few games. We also played darts. The atmosphere can be a little loud, but that's typical with music and conversations. You should check it out if you're in the area. It could end up being one of your favorite hangouts.

Finally got the opportunity to revisit the firehouse. And it was 100x better than a our previous visit. The food was delivered as ordered, the waitress offered suggestions, and was friendly. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the great experience.

Great little spot with a good atmosphere for a couple of drinks and food. The garlic parmesan fries were great! The staff were absolutely exemplary, and a few machines to keep the kids entertained. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit.

The team at Firehouse is THE BEST! Erika, Lonnie, & Brenda make you feel like you are at home when you are there. The food is always freshly made and quick to come out. Everyone in town enjoys going there!

A few things I will mention is that lately I have noticed they are running out of things pretty often. Fish on Fish Friday, chicken tenders, and wings are a few things I have noticed within the last few weeks.

Another thing I noticed is that it has been really warm there lately. I have seen the cooks come from the back sweating from how hot it is back there. Not sure if the AC went out, but it should be addressed before one of those guys keel over back there.

Overall, I love my experience there. It was the first place I visited when I moved to Orting, I have been going regularly ever since. Just a few minor things to address! Thanks for all the laughs Erika, Lonny, and Brenda!

Oh wow!! I ordered the shrimp tempura tacos and ohh my lanta were they SCRUMPTIOUS!!! Perfectly cooked shrimp and just a well balanced street taco.
I even ate the tails, well...because they had the delicious sauce on em' of course 🤣😋 and I ate all 6 tacos. That was alot for the Great price of $13.00!

They have a fantastic patio! Food is always yummy and consistent. Drinks are your typical choices and they seem to have a good selection. The staff is always friendly! Kids can be there till 9pm so it's a fun family spot for us when we want something casual!

Fun fireman themed restaurant and bar in Orting, WA. Great place to watch the game, grab a burger and fries and hang out.

Tip: like mayo? Try there garlic mayo, it's fantastic

The food was great! Served fresh, hot, and in good time. I would recommend this for anyone who likes burgers or just wants to have drinks and some appetizers. Family friendly and everyone, including the kids, gave the food a thumbs up.

Very welcoming and friendly staff! The fried pickles are delicious, salads and sandwiches tasted fresh and my son enjoyed his burger. I highly recommend checking this place out and if you can be there on a Monday it’s free pool. Also has outdoor seating for nice days to eat outdoors.

Always wanted to stop there. I'm so glad I did. Good parking. Very spacious open bar. There are a few pool tables, and lots of tv's for sports fans. I had the fish tacos, which were OMG!! absolutely delicious. Definitely will go there again!!!

For a small town bar and restaurant, this place is EXCELLENT. Very clean, and very well laid out. The staff is super friendly, the food was great, and the prices were extremely fair! Noticed they have a stage for live entertainment, will definitely return. This might be my new go-to stop when riding the motorcycle.

Service has gotten better. I visited quite a few months ago during the pandemic and we didn't wind up dining as we were greeted rudely and made it feel like they didn't want us there so we turned around and left. We went back yesterday to give them another shot and we had great service and the food was delicious. We ordered the Tex Mex burger and the Bleu cheese burger, both of which were tasty. I love their french fries. We also ordered a mimosa and a Jameson and ginger ale. Both were made well. Will definitely return.

Let me tell you that the waitress is by herself and she handled a small crowd perfectly

Great staff, fantastic prices, and a selection of foods that is a caliber above most.
The sound system for the band was great, the servers were timely, polite, and helpful.. and the other patrons were fun and good spirited.
Children allowed until 9:09 PM, which was a lot of fun with the band.
EVERYTHING about it was fantastic!

Heather and Lonnie were awesome as always, and are the reason we are giving 5 stars. However, as someone who has been a fan of the pretzel and cheese at the firehouse for a long time… I have to add that whatever new recipe is being used for the cheese should be discarded or burned without saving any copies of it. It was chunky, soured, and managed to overpower the buttery goodness of the soft and delicious jumbo sized pretzel. We ended up using straight yellow mustard instead, because it was too awful to stomach. Some of the menu items seem to have a unique twist lately, and although those flavors may come through well in other cuisines… they are mis-placed in good ol’ small town bar food. Cheers to any possible improvements without losing what doesn’t need to be and shouldn’t be changed at all.

This spot is great! Love the food and Erika gave us amazing service. Will be back!
