Showed up for the first time and was greeted with nothing but kindness. While I sipped on my whiskey Linzie gave an amazing cut while engaging in conversation and keeping the vibe light and fun. I definitely recommend.

After reading the reviews, I was a little hesitant to try this place out, but decided to give it a try as I needed a cut pretty bad. To my surprise, this place far exceeded my expectations. When I came in the door, I was greeted by all the employees, was offered a complimentary whiskey drink in a really cool, chilled-yeti mug; it even had frozen bullets to keep my drink cold, without watering it down. I was promptly greeted by my stylist, Aubrey, who gave me a really great cut, who made me feel welcomed and relaxed during my consultation. She seemed very knowledgable, and answered any questions I had with full confidence. I was really pleased with my cut, and she offered an upgraded service to include a hot towel neck shave, as well as an arm and hand massage. It was very relaxing. Aubrey also recommended I try their Outlaws and Gents hair pomade, and I ended up getting some of that and some CBD beard balm as a gift for my father.

Overall, I would say this place did not seem anything like the bad reviews made it out to be. All the employees were very charming and fun, the music was great, and they even had sports on the TV.

10/10 recommend, and will be bringing my dad and son for our next trip up.

Never have I ever had a better haircut experience than at Cowboy Up in Southlake with my barber Paisley! She cut my hair at one shop before here and she did such a good job when she loved shops so did I ! Always ask for Paisley, she’s the best!

This is by far the coolest mens salon I’ve ever been to. Usually I was a sports clips guy but this place has them beat for sure. Everyone is so nice and accommodating. Quality of work is phenomenal, very clean and well maintained. Thank you ladies for such an awesome place to go. You have a customer for life, makes me wish my hair grew faster so I could come more often.

My son treated me to a hot shave and haircut. This is an awesome experience. The ladies were very nice and talented. The head massage was very good. The treatment is worth every penny. If I lived nearby I would visit as often as possible.

Kayla is outstanding. She is very talented and customer focused. She listens to what I need and engages in a very polite and professional manner. I became a regular customer and don't trust my beard to any other stylist.

I enjoyed my hair cut, shave and relaxation. It's a comfortable place to get cleaned up and sent back out looking put together. A nice drink, a comfortable shave and some eclectic music is a great way to take care of yourself!

Ask for Destiny. I had my long mess of hair cut by her today after 2 years of growth, i have no real knowledge of styles and only a basic idea of what i wanted done, yet she did a very neat job of making it look good, while also being very pleasant to conversate with. My brother had his hair cut by a different stylist the same time and his cut looked good too

I've been a fan of Cowboy Up since I first discovered them in Dallas. This newer location keeps the name's reputation just as high.

I got a Two-Step (haircut, shampoo, massage, and hot towel - the works), my son got the Buckaroo (kids haircut). Casey listened to our request of having a longer than common hair style and she did excellent.

The location was in a good area, clean and inviting. I enjoyed my beer and my son his _root_ beer. Definitely an enjoyable father and son activity.

I brought my son in to get a cut and he got the most awesome cut , but what I appreciated more was how sweet and cordial , Ava was to me as my son got his cut! She was engaging , fun, and certainly sold the the whole experience of Cowboy Up to me ! My sons stylist and Ava will certainly have us returning soon!

I've been to several barber shops around DFW and this is by far the best. Especially for the price I've received better customer service and haircuts than I did paying double or more at Boardroom or the Gents Place. The girls are always nice and smiling. I use Casey every time and the attention to detail and service is the best hands down. I even take my 2 year old to get his haircut here and they're always extremely patient and do great with kids. And who doesn't love free cold beer.

Love coming here and getting my haircut from Jenny. The location is super clean and the service is always provided with a smile. Quality of haircut is top notch!

Great staff, great products! Several options for levels of service and budget. This place is the real deal! If you are looking for a "walk in" cheap cut, keep looking. Call ahead for appointments! They stay booked in advance!

Sabrina did a great job. I was amazed by the service and what I got for my money. I’ve been to several other salons in the area and cowboy up is by far the best for your money. I’m going to be going back for sure.
