When I want a bowl of hot noodle soup in Dallas, this is the first place I think of!
Their noodles are handmade, so they taste really good. Dumplings and steamed buns are also good.
They also have free side dishes of spicy kimchi and yellow radish. Plus there’s free rice!

I came into this shop looking for cold buckwheat noodles and boy did they deliver. Very tasty and reasonably priced. Come with an empty stomach because the portions are large. It’s self serve. Get you some shears because you will need to clip the noodles. The kimchi is in house made and very good. Dumplings are homemade and taste very good.

First time here and was really great. Order at the counter and they’ll call your name when it’s ready. Loved the handmade noodles in chicken broth, kimchi dumplings and large pork buns (the soy dipping sauce with chilis was really good with the dumplings/buns )

I went to this joint on a Sunday afternoon after a long night of drinking the night prior. Before we left for the restaurant, I had some ramen for brunch to nurse my hangover so mind you I was already pretty full. When my wife and I and our friends came in, I did not think I was going to order any food but the smell was irresistible for me to not get some fresh noodles. Lo and behold, I found some empty pocket in my stomach to get these bad boys in my belly. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants an authentic Korean kkal-guk-su experience.

For those of you who visited a long time ago when it was under previous management; as of Feb 2024, this place is good now. Good portion. Fair price, quality food.

I’m telling you, they are busy during peak hours!! Food tasted great. I would come back.

Finally kongguksu has arrived! I called Um Ma Son almost every day asking if they have it available. Once I heard from them that they did, I ran over right away to order one. Soup base has a nutty flavor with a smooth and almost velvety consistency. Noodles were chewy and complemented very nicely with the soup. Refreshing and delicious in this Dallas heat.

FOB Korean approved. Reasonably priced and tastes Korean. You'll definitely be full after eating here.

The kalguksoo tastes great. The handcut noodles and broth are delicious. We also like the kongguksoo which they only serve in the summers(?).

Excellent place! Kimchi is nice and hot, broth, noodles, and dumplings are all homemade. Simple and delicious.

Best Korean Kalgusku in town! I come back here often cause nowhere else does it better. Super authentic flavor.

Excellent kalguksu. Prices have risen just as prices have risen everywhere, but the prices are still reasonable and portions are large.

Broth is nice and rich. Generous portions and food comes out nice and hot, perfect for a cold day.
