Carrollton Plaza Supermarket

Carrollton Plaza Supermarket is a must visit if you are looking to purchase Asian goods and products.

There are a variety of different sections to look at. Beginning with fruits and vegetables. These included a vast diversity of common and exotic fruits.

There is even a section dedicated towards seafood such as fish and shrimp.

Alongside this, there was a section for kids toys and dresses All in all, it was a great visit.

This supermarket is honestly a hidden GEM!

You might be familiar with 99 Ranch or H-Mart for your Asian groceries, but you'd be surprised to see how big this store was. It offers a huge variety of ingredients for Asian dishes, from Japanese curries to Vietnamese dried snacks and all the herbs you can think of!

It was surprising to see that there was barely anyone in the store beside the workers. The store is honestly so big, it took 45 mins just to browse through every aisle to make sure I get everything. I found a ramen package that was $3 cheaper than other stores, and their soju is $5 each (buy 2 for $10, or $5.99/each).

Asides from the great selection of items, the store are also kept very clean. The items are clearly labeled and the aisles are clear. I saw brands that I don't usually see at 99 Ranch, and my mom got her durian for $2.99/lb compared to H-Mart's price of $10.99/lb!

This is a big Asian supermarket but the difference from other markets is that it caters to all different Asian countries, especially Southeast Asia. Whereas other markets mostly cater to one region of Asia such as Korea or China and only very few of other regions.
They even have a section with selected African food and seasonings.
I love this place and have been coming here for years. Employees are very friendly and helpful.
I usually go for Filipino or Thai food items.

Great produce and meat market. They have a lot of awesome world food. I like the Vietnamese coffee packets. They have like 12 brands vietnamese coffees to choose fromxD

Great selection of Asian cuisine, fresh veggies and cookware. Fast and efficient service. A must try for this looking for out of the way Asian foods, etc at a great price.

The most genuine asian market i have ever been to! I have visited many in my lifetime, and this one had rows and rows or aisles with produce, meats, snacks, dry good i have never seen before!a great seafood section with fresh fish like whole salmon, too!

best filipino selection in the dfw area. found stuff that i dont even see in a seafood city supermarket.

Massive supermarket with good variety, good prices, and a produce section with fruits and vegetables that the other grocers don't have.

Their fish section is also excellent, with live items in the back.

It's an adventure to find things, but in a good way. I found Dragonball energy drinks the other day!

So happy to find here the guava jam that I thought I could only get in my home country (Philippines). They also have durian hopia & moringa plants. Lotto tickets too!

Great place to buy Asian food and ingredients but not a lot of Filipino ingredients.

Awesome place. They sell cookware, sandals, food of course, decorations, and there is a spa inside the store. The staff is friendly. The fresh seafood and produce selection cannot be beat. You can spend a lot of time in the store the first trip or two because of the sheer amount of items and size of the store.

We always buy fish from here. They got some good varieties of fruits and vegetables.

I absolutely love this supermarket! If there is ever an obscure / specialized / hard-to-find ingredient I need for cooking I know I will be able to find what I need at Carrollton Plaza Supermarket. Their selection is very diverse. And the quality of their products is always top-notch. They have wonderful produce. They have the freshest, high quality meats and fish. They boast myriad variety of spices, beverages, boxed / canned foods, frozen items, sweets, and imported food. Additionally, they carry items such as:
- flatware
- place settings
- pots/pans
- personal hygiene
- home decor
- beer/wine
- much, much more

When I first started shopping at Carrollton Plaza Supermarket my visits seemed few and far between. However I quickly learned that I was finding everything on my shopping lists with this one stop! No more looking at my list thinking, "going to Kroger for this, Walmart for that, Costco for this, or Whole Foods for that." And, in addition to the convenience of One-Stop shopping, I'm also saving money!

I wholeheartedly recommend this Supermarket to everyone! If you have a refined palate, special tastes, or you just like to eat could, high quality food, do yourself a favor and shop at Carrollton Plaza Supermarket.

Great place for running in and out. Always friendly and willing to help staff and owners! They have pretty much everything. Me being from Hawaii there's things I miss from home and this is where I get most of my ingredients for my meals, including my Aloha Soyu!

Best selection of Indonesian products and ingredients to be found in DFW. They have a variety of sambals, ketjap manis, spice mixes, candlenut, emping belinjo, kropok, noodles, etc…. Nice produce too. Also a large variety of Indonesian and Vietnamese coffees. A really great Southeast Asian market.

Favorite Asian market. Shelves well stocked and we can find our favorite brands week after week. Love the fresh produce and fresh herbs (best price anywhere) which is a large part of our diet. Super selection of canned sardines and mackerel. Lots of fresh meats and fish so fresh it is still swimming. Always have our favorite brand of Jasmine rice.

This is one of my favorite Asian markets. They have a very large fresh produce department. Fresh bean sprouts, snow peas, trumpet mushrooms, all type of fresh peppers, wide variety of dried mushrooms. Many brands of soy sauce, fish sauce, oyster sauce, chili sauces. Also a large variety of southwestern flavors of dried Mexican peppers and spices for chili and Tex-Mex foods. Fresh (live) seafood and, in season live frogs and crayfish. It is worth a visit.

I'm not Asian but I love this store. When it comes to Asian food this is the place to go. They have live fish there and fresh fish that they will cut up for you the way you want. It's also one of the only places I find duck. They have a lot of fruit from Asia too that you won't find in a Walmart or other grocery store. The place has a bit of a fishy smell but I think that's probably due to the huge fresh fish section.
