Comfort Suites near Route 66

We have been staying in this hotel for decades. The manager is extremely customer centric And that philosophy is instilled in all the staff. They renovate this hotel frequently so it never looks worn. They do a nice job with a self-serve breakfast which is really convenient when you have your kids and grandkids along. They have a heated indoor pool also, which is nice when you have down time. And being right on Dirksen, it's easy to get to, and convenient to part from for activities in the Springfield area. We highly recommend staying here If you are looking for a hotel for a fair price, that is always clean.

Greeted by the front desk as soon as I walked in the door. They provided me with all the amenities the hotel had to offer. The breakfast was outstanding just over the moon, and the room was clean and the bed very comfortable with lots of pillows. And to top it off at the end of the day nothing better than freshly baked cookies, sitting in the lobby awaiting your return from a long day in meetings. Thank you.

Wonderful hotel. Very clean. Bed was so comfortable with lots of pillows. HBO. huge breakfast with walnuts, eggs, sausage, apples,waffles big yogurt. Pool is warm and has a deep end.
My only suggestion is better coffee pots in the room.
Staff very friendly. Erica helped us get just the right room for us. The other desk lady was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again.

We enjoyed staying here. We would love to come back. The staff was all friendly and accommodating. They have fun trivia games you can play. The front desk did a great job. He answered all of my questions which included local places to eat in the area. Our room had 2 queen beds and a pull out couch. The beds were a but firm.
The breakfast was great. The had waffles, sausage, eggs, fruit, bagels, juice, coffee, yogurt, and more! Each day the breakfast changed a little. They had breakfast to go as well as a night snack. They definitely went above and beyond. I was impressed with their creativity.
The place was clean. They had people cleaning as we went in and out of the hotel.
The hotel was 5 minutes from where we needed to go. So it is a good location for getting to and from destinations in Springfield.

The staff here is wonderful!!! The room was so clean! It smelled like cookies! We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the breakfast, nightly cookies and quiet comfy rooms!

This is the cleanest hotel in Springfield. The bathroom smelled fresh and clean. Walking in I felt the love Tina put in my room and I don’t even know her. It good when you take pride in what you do!!! What you put out is felt and revived - keep up the good work!!!!!! Mad I didn’t come here first 😩!

This is a great hotel! First off, the hotel is in a good location. There are plenty of fun things to do in the area like Lincoln Home National Historic Site. The staff is also incredibly friendly and helpful. They really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and make sure you're having a great stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and there are plenty of amenities to make your stay even better. The breakfast is delicious and there are plenty of options to choose from. And if you need anything, the staff is always happy to help. The pool is also very nice, which made for a great stay. Overall, I would highly recommend the Comfort Suites near Route 66 to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We stayed here for the IL State Fair and I usually do not give hotels a 5/5 review, but this one deserved it. The hotel employees were great! One front desk receptionist in particular, Erica, was SO friendly and attentive. Upon check in, we were greeted with fresh lemon water and chocolate chip cookies. The hotel itself and the rooms were so clean and practically spotless. We will most definitely be staying at this hotel again. 5/5 for sure!

One word…WOW. I travel quite a bit and I have to say this was one of the top 2 places I have stayed for lodging. The staff was very friendly, the room was super clean, the hotel was pretty packed, yet, it was extremely quiet, and the breakfast was great with so many options to choose from. I wish all lodging was this great…thank you for a great experience!!!

This was my second stay here and was not disappointed. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great location, clean comfortable rooms and good breakfast. I pass through here annually and have found my go-to hotel for the future.

We decided last minute to spend labor day weekend in Springfield booked the hotel on our way there didn't get there till after midnight and you know how some hotels get a little aggravated when you get there that late well Latoya was an absolute joy!! My fiance likes to joke around and make people laugh well he met his match with her!! 🤣🤣 I didn't think we were ever going to get checked in because we were laughing so hard she was hilarious!! The day shift clerk Rachel was an absolute angel she was always smiling and always asked how we were doing as we went in and out thru the day and somehow managed to always have warm cookies out when we would come thru the lobby (oatmeal raisin 😋) she genuinely seemed happy to be there and that made our stay very enjoyable. We only went swimming once because we were so tired everyday after sightseeing but they do have a very nice pool. Overall if you're looking for a reasonably priced place to stay that's not in downtown but within 5 miles of everything this is the place to stay!!

Went to my parents' Anniversary party. So my Mom made the hotel reservation for us. We were there for a couple of days and the room was very nice and clean.

Really enjoyed our stay. Family trip and kids and parents loved the warm cookies in the evening. Breakfast was good and room was nice. The best part was the staff!

One of the best hotel stays we have had! The main areas and our room were very clean. The staff was amazing! They are very friendly and full of recommendations on anything we asked. The breakfast was a nice mix of food and it was delicious. We checked out the pool and it was very clean. There are plenty of food options on the same street. It's close to the lake, which is why we came for the weekend.

Great all around! We were traveling to see family and really needed a shower and a comfortable bed. We didn't know the area so we're hesitant on picking a place for us and our 3 kids. We loved every min here. Right when we walked in we were greeted by the nicest man, Evan, I think. He helped me get checked in and then attempted to help my mom fix her reservation (she messed up and chose the 'sister hotel'). The breakfast was amazing! So many options! Well worth the money!

This is probably one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The rooms are completely updated and modern, the bed is comfortable, the shower is spacious. The fridge and microwave are also a nice touch. Every employee we encountered was very friendly and more than helpful. The complimentary breakfast exceeded my expectations and was great every morning. We didn’t swim, but we checked out the pool area and it was well kept. Also, we enjoyed the cookies in the lobby. Don’t look at any other hotels, just book here because you will not be disappointed. I will definitely be staying here again when I come to Springfield.
