Genesis of Bloomington-Normal

About six months ago we bought a new Genesis G80 mid-size sedan. Great car, we loved it! However, as nice as it was, we decided we needed a bigger car with more room.

Last weekend we went to Genesis of Bloomington-Normal in Normal, IL to look at a new Genesis full-size sedan, the G90. We met Michelle McCaskey, our sales person, who helped us find a new car and let us take it for a test drive.

This would be the third new car I had bought in twelve months, so I was very familiar with how the new car buying process worked. Up till now it had been all fun-n-games. But now it was time to get serious and work a deal...

Let me cut to the chase by saying working with Michelle on a new car deal was a pleasure and a breath of fresh air! Working with Michelle and her sales manager Greg Miller was as pleasant as a car buying experience could be. Both Michelle and Greg were respectful and transparent in our negotiations. We described what we were offering and why, and Michelle and Greg explained the details of their offer and why they were making their offer.

There were no battles-of-will. No gnashing of teeth. Just straight forward, respectful, open, and reasonable offers and counter-offers that eventually got all of us to a place were we both could say 'yes'!

It was a great experience that had us driving away in the new car we wanted, knowing we got a fair deal. It doesn't get any better than that!!

As always, the staff at Genesis of Bloomington-Normal was kind and helpful. They made sure to check everything over and returned my car looking shiny and new. I left a license plate bracket on the front seat and asked if they could put it on for me and they were happy to help. We love our new Genesis G80!!! The car is unbelievable! The dealership at Bloomington Illinois was awesome to work with. We had a wonderful salesman Roy. He took so much time with us and helped us deciding which car to purchase. When we went to pickup car, another salesman Craig went through every feature on our car. He helped us so much learn the bells and whistles!! The entire dealership had so many friendly people working there. We would highly recommend them!!!!

We just purchased a 2022 Genesis, and Kevin, “Gator,” was amazing to work with!!! We purchased a 2020 Hyundai Palisade through this dealership last year. About a week ago, he reached out to us, not knowing that our family needed to add a second vehicle. A few very responsive messages, and three days later, we drove home in our new Genesis! I would also like to add, their service department is phenomenal! They have taken great care of us over this last year! They are always quick to respond, courteous, and time efficient. James, especially, has been so good to us! He always gets us in quickly, and is so kind, caring, and quickly became our friend!
