I cannot say enough good about this restaurant!! I am in Florida and my Dad was just diagnosed with Covid. He is exhausted, and food was the last thing on his mind. He finally got a taste for something, so I called immediately to order for him. He said that he just wanted Chicken Chop Suey. I also saw that there was a Chicken Noodle Soup, so I added that at well. He said it was the best soup he had ever had! It was packed with chicken, noodles and the broth was sensational! His words were, “I was in heaven for the whole meal!” He also said that he will have more than enough food for two more meals, too. (He didn’t send a photo of the Chop Suey, but assured me it was excellent and plentiful.)

The customer service was excellent as well. The gentleman that answered the phone was so kind and patient. I expressed that my Dad was sick, and he assured me that it would be no problem for contactless delivery.

If you’re looking for a great, local option for your next meal, please consider patronizing this restaurant! You won’t be disappointed. 😊

Absolutely delicious!!! Nice atmosphere, fresh unlimited oolong tea, and pictured are pad Thai on the left and ma po tofu on the right. I was so excited to see ma po tofu – a lot of places seem to lack more traditional Chinese food, but their menu is SUPER extensive, so you can get the typical takeout classics as well as Chinese cuisine.

The food and service are excellent. The prices are very reasonable. Its my favorite Chinese restaurant in the western suburbs.

I love it. Very friendly and low pressure. I really like the fried rice with baby corn particularly Jane and Darren were very helpful

Looking for a comfortable local Chinese restaurant where the food is ALWAYS reliable? House of Emperor is hands down the winner. The staff is unbelievably kinds and super sensitive to timing. Always at or not at the table at the right time. Food is always served piping hot. Kid friendly too! Only bummer is they personally don't deliver past a certain radius area. But it's still worth the drive if you have to do pickup.

I must say I used to love this place. Something happened ? Place seems run down and not so warm and inviting. My wife and I did not think the food was so good like it used to be. I probably won't go back. Very sad.

Food was a maze-ing! Great service, lots of choices (almost too hard to choose :) and everything was very yummy. Highly recommend eating here in person for tea, atmosphere, and drinks. Shoutout to the chef that made those delicious egg roles.

My husband and I loved it! I believe we met the owner tonight. She was very nice. We enjoyed it here and will be back! We had to find a new spot after our local Bolingbrook spot closed. Generous portions for sure! We left feeling stuffed. And I loved that someone came out and boxed our to go! Recommend!

My first experience at house of emperor was ever so delightful. Jane my server was a delight! She had such a pleasant, welcoming, and delightful energy! I would return and recommend this delightful, hidden treasure, hole in the wall of a restaurant to all of my delightful pals and gals. Thank you, house of emperor, and Jane, for saving my life.

No msg, that was music to my ears! Great service, delicious food, friendly atmosphere, plenty of parking available, and lunch menue was affordable. Showing kung pao chicken, egg roll, and crab rangoon.

Wow! Gluten and dairy free! Amazing place! Get there early and ready to eat! Let them know your food allergies and they are very aware of cross contamination. GF soy sauce available!

Absolutely great Chinese food. The server was one of the best I've had in a long time. We got the Mongolian beef and the emperor's lomein. Both were fantastic and had the extra spicy kick that we requested. Will definitely go back! You can tell they take pride in the food quality and quantity

We've loved House of Emperor for over 10 years now, I think. We used to live in the neighborhood and ordered from them quite a bit. Then we moved to the N. Suburbs and still managed to drive down often to get pick-up from them and one other beloved restaurant nearby. And then we moved out of state, like way out of state and several states away and we *still* come back to them whenever we're back in town!

The service is wonderful everytime, the food is the best. (Native San Franciscan here, so I consider myself pretty well versed in Chinese food). I have recently fallen in love with salt & pepper tofu and have found no better than theirs.

Please help keep them open so I can visit everytime I'm back in town!

Very friendly staff! I went on Mother’s Day, the place was very clean. I am someone who likes to check the food in the bag and make sure everything is in there before I go. When I started to do it, one of the ladies with short black hair offered to do it for me! She didn’t make me feel like I was bothering her. She checked everything without complaining. Love the service! Also, the food was delicious:)

We went back for a family celebration. They have tables that work very well for that (we had 7 people and a lot of food).

They still have their mojo going, my wife said this meal was better than all the others.

My wife said it was the best meal she has ever had there.

The noise level was low enough that we could have conversations.

I love house of emperor!! Such delicious food. Our waitress Jane was an absolute delight she quite literally saved our lives and the entire world
